Not worth $140, $175 if you include tip. It's grossly overpriced. You can spend that same amount and get a full day experiencing Burke Williams spa and make use of all their amenities plus get a full body massage. Or go to Glen Ivy spa for a day and make use of their expansive facility plus get a full body massage. Their chairs are super uncomfortable. My head could barely reach the sink, she had to put a pillow under me and my neck was strained the entire time. The girl was nice and their products smelled nice but I would not go back. read more

OMG! I stubbled across this type of head spa treatment via TikTok and thought it would be a cool/different birthday gift for my mom (rather than the typical massage). Fabulicious was so great in accommodating my mom and my joint appointment. This was our first time trying this type of head spa treatment and we had no clue what to expect. We started by having our scalps thoroughly examined with a video camera (which was really weird to see up close) and then went to a dimly lit, peaceful room for our treatment. It was absolutely AMAZING and I HIGHLY recommend it! The whole experience was beyond relaxing and my hair has NEVER been softer, shining, or silkier. I mean, who doesn't love someone playing with their hair and massaging their head! Haruka and Megumi (Megan) were just the BEST and I cannot wait to go back! read more

I made an appointment for a head spa and saw they had a promotion for $80 (normally $100) if I booked with a certain staff member by Oct 31. I made an appointment with Yuko. She was incredibly kind and explained everything she was doing since it was my first head spa experience. The entire experience was amazing and relaxing. Definitely a 10/10! My complaint is with the way I was charged. I was originally charged $80, which is what I expected. However, 10 minutes after I left, I got a call from the front desk and was told I was charged an incorrect price. I should have been charged $100. I mentioned the promotion that I saw so the front desk had to check their website. Mysteriously, the promotion was gone despite it previously saying it was good until Oct 31 (my appt was Oct 27). There was nothing I could do to fight it since I didn't have proof... this unfortunately was a deal breaker for me. I was looking forward to returning, but unfortunately, I will not. WORD OF ADVISE: If you see a promotion from this business, make sure to take a screenshot of it as proof because it may not be granted for your appointment. read more

Decided to come here for a head spa after a friend recommended it! Brought my boyfriend and we booked with Haruka and Megumi who were both so sweet. Before the head spa, they'll sit you down to check the condition of your scalp and recommend a treatment. They have a magnifying tool that shows you on a screen what your scalp looks like up close. Haruka suggested the Purifying Scalp Care ($140) for me since I had some dandruff (yikes). She then exfoliated, steamed, massaged, and shampooed my hair. The massage was so comforting & peaceful, especially with the dim candle lighting and instrumental music they had playing in the background. Afterwards, my hair felt so soft and my scalp was completely clean! My boyfriend booked the Hair Revitalize Care ($150) with Megumi to help with preventing hair loss. He felt like he learned so much about how to better take care of his hair, and couldn't stop raving about how great he felt after. This is a splurge for us and it was so worth it! read more

I've been wanting to get a head spa for awhile since it blew up on TikTok and I'm so glad I found this place!!! Megumi was so nice and helpful when giving tips on hair care. I also wish I asked to keep the before/after pictures of my scalp to put here because the difference was amazing!!! I had clogged, itchy pores and my scalp was squeaky clean after. This was my first time at Fabulicious with my daughter for her bday. I am so glad I found this head spa so close to my home because the closest ones I found on google were in Pasadena and Garden Grove. The treatment started with a scalp evaluation and followed with a relaxing and revitalizing scalp cleaning and massaging. I heard my daughter snoring next to me, but I tried hard to stay up so I could have the full experience. It was very comfortable in the chair and my therapist was very good with her hands- not too hard, not too soft. I would give them 5 stars except for it was more pricey than I was hoping and her Japanese accent made it difficult to understand her, especially with her mask on. Let me just say that I was never one of those lash girls. I didn't care about getting my lashes done, because I'd had them done before at a nail shop...okay right there, let me slap myself! First of all, I'll never get my lashes done at a nail shop again! I left there with so many lashes that they were hanging down in my eyesight. Secondly, they put the strip and made it so thick that it itched and I could feel it on my lash line. And third, their prices had the nerve to be pretty high. I looked like a drunk stripper with them being so thick and bulky and half smashed from all the rubbing I did. Ultimately, I ended up taking them off within hours and it ended up being a total waste of money. Fast forward to this place... My beautiful daughter pampered me for my birthday last year. Getting my lashes done was something she insisted on, but I kept refusing because of my past experience. She kept telling me to trust her, that it isn't like that. Finally, I gave in and had them done and boy was she right...this place is a total game changer. I chose this place because of their excellent reviews and their location in the South Bay. First and foremost, their hours are excellent! They are open as late as 8:00pm! It's perfect if you're off work at 5:00pm or even later, because you can still go pamper yourself without having to lie to your boss to leave early. I hate places where their hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday. It makes it hard to get in there. They have morning appointments all the way through the evening. Another fantastic thing is that they use the beauty scheduler app Vagaro for appointments. You can go on there, pick your service, pick your girl, and pick your day and it will open up their schedule. Quick and easy! I scheduled all of my appointments for the remainder of the year, to ensure that I get in for when I want. This is especially important during the holiday season, ladies. Schedule early! I usually go every 3 weeks, but sometimes in between that time, I have to visit sooner. Case in point was this past week that I spent in the hospital did a number on my lashes. I guess they taped my eyelids down during emergency surgery, plus all the crying I did...yeah, I lost some lashes. I went on the app, Vagaro a few days after I was released and scheduled a quick fill with Yoko for the same day. A quick fill is cheaper and a shorter time period, but it at least gets you looking better in a short time. I like the option of a quick fill when you have someone important to go or things to do and you just need a quick boost. My girl is Yoko and I absolutely love her! She is so funny and we really have some serious conversations! She has a great memory, too! Her work is excellent and she always takes you on time. If she's running a bit behind, which is rare, she will pop out and let you know and even then, it's only for a few minutes. You can choose between Hoshimi, Miki, Yoko, Zuly, Megumi, or Arisa. You can choose between many types of lashes from silk to volume to mink. They even do lower lashes if you want and they can also remove them for you, if you don't want them anymore. They do threading and eyebrow tinting and they offer special promotions. read more

4 YEARS!!! That's how long I've been coming to Hoshimi to get my lashes done--every 2-3 weeks for 4 years! I don't think I've stuck with ANYTHING for that long lol! Hoshimi is truly a professional--she is so talented and works so hard at her craft and her business. Her new shop is beautiful and she put so much work into it! I get the volume lashes and I always love how my lashes look. If I need a last-minute appointment, Hoshimi tries to fit me in with her or another lash artist, and they're all great! I look forward to my lash fills twice a month--love having fresh lashes but catching up with Hoshimi is fun too. Hoshimi is so detail-oriented in her work but is also such a sweet person! I've recommended a few friends to her and they've loved her too. I absolutely love how there's minimal upkeep and I look fresh with those lashes everyday, even without makeup.
