Went here yesterday for a pedicure. I haven't had one in years and my last experience (a place in Macomb, MI) was pretty terrible. It put me off to the whole idea, but I've seen this place on Yelp and I passed by it a lot on my way to work; after being on my feet all day for the last week, I figured I would give this a try. I am really glad I did. I got a deluxe pedicure and it was so good. She massaged my feet, did various scrubs, and even hot wax. It brought me back to getting pedicures and I will definitely come back to this place. read more

I tried to purchase a gift card over the telephone for my daughter that lives there. They said I needed to go to their web site. She couldn't tell me the web address, but, said to google. I did; however, the link that opens up referencing their store has been HIJACKED and a different companies site opens up. I really wish I could give a higher rating because I had a really nice relaxing experience! Unfortunately the most important aspect is the end product and pricing. Spa pedicure with hot stones: Incredibly relaxing and nice environment. It worried me that the man that was doing my toes was using tools that were simply in a drawer wrapped in foil. Now, I don't get my nails done frequently but aren't the tools suppose to be kept in some type of cleaning solution or something? I didn't get a good look at my toes until I got home and sadly the polish was very uneven..to the point that I could clearly see that the polish on one foot was way darker than the other foot. He didn't put enough coats on the other foot. Full nail set with matte polish: While I am happy with my nails there are quite a few flaws like the fact that the nails are not smooth which is amplified by the matte polish. She also didn't clean up my cuticles or cut hang nails/dead skin prior to applying the acrylic. Price: Expensive in my opinion for a product that didn't turn out very well. Overall: The experience was great and relaxing. The nail techs were incredibly nice but sadly I would probably look into another place that has better quality. read more

Love this place! The girls are very nice, comfortable chairs and very clean environment. Massage on my legs and feet went on for a good long time and put me in heaven. They take their time with you and get you all cleaned up. I've tried many nail salons all over the country as I travel for work. Fabulous Nails is at the top of my choices for sure! If you want to be treated like a King or Queen, get your nails done where they take the extra care and get great massage while they work on your hands and feet in a nice clean happy environment this place stands out!!! This is probably my new nail place! I went here for an acrylic fill and my experience was wonderful. I have been on the search for a new nail place for a while after giving up on Foxy nails at briarwood, avoid that place at all costs. This place is convenient and in expensive I only paid $33 compared to the 45 I was paying at foxy. I will definitely be back! Fabulous nails is in a very convenient location for me. The inside of the salon is very clean, I think this is a fairly new salon so hopefully it stays that way. The guy that did my fill was very thorough and careful, he did a excellent job! He didn't use to much acrylic to fill my nails like some places do and then I end up with really thick nails, and because of this he did t have to spend a lot of time filing my nails which is always my least favorite part. I picked out a shellac color for my polish, the women that was sitting next the guy that did my fill actually painted my nails, she was thorough and careful as well really taking her time to make sure it was done right and there wasn't an excess around my nails, same with the acrylic there was hardly any excess acrylic on my nails. This is what my toenails look like after three days of getting them done. Then while I was trying to get shellac with a nail fake nail , they told me my big toes were to be for service then they charge me $10 to take off three the total cost was $57 I do not recommend you ever go to this establishment they are over charging for simplicity. First of all, why does this have 4 stars rating. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. They made me bleed and did a terrible job. I asked if they have matte nail polish. they lied and said yes but what they did is use alcohol and dull out the shine. it doesn't look matte, just look like cheap ass nail polish. I wanted some gold shimmer on some fingers and they dull out the shine on it too. ill post of what I wanted and what they did. Also when the lady made me bleed, she kept on saying why is it bleeding so much....cuz you made a big cut beep. Everyone here is old, they gotta be 55+ and some old men. This place is a very traditional nail salon, and I called in advance to make sure that they did the simple lashes ( not lash by lash), also known as cluster. The lady that helped us was very to the point and told me that I needed to do my eyebrows even though that isn't what I was there for( so basically she was rude or aggressively trying to make a sale). The cluster lashes looked very fake mostly because they put more clusters towards the outside and not many on the inside. I think that they probably do a great job on nails but we were not happy with the lashes. We asked to have them removed and there was some push back about why we should have known what it would look like before asking for them. Since there are no pictures anywhere I decided to post the pictures so that anyone else can decide for themselves whether or not they like this look. It wasn't for us. read more

I bought a gift card, and the website charged me twice (but only sent me one confirmation email). I emailed the salon and they said they would refund my money right away. I have followed up with them 7 times since, and they have completely stopped responding. So not only am I out the money, but they wouldn't even give me the value in the form of a gift card. I went recently to get a manicure and pedicure. Instead of being told to bend my feet or adjust my hands I was tapped until I made the appropriate action. That's not service. In fact, I don't even know what that is. My cuticles were cut until they bled. The hot towel placed on my foot was scalding. One foot didn't even receive lotion for the massage and the water in the bowl was borderline lukewarm. My nails were also filed into a shape I can't even describe and my length was severely reduced. I came here for a fill on my acrylics which I had done somewhere else and was really happy with my service! I worked with both the owner and his wife and they were both very nice and gentle with my nails. I've typically been to places which are extremely rough and leave my nail beds sore for days, but I had no pain afterwards, and my nails look great. The only thing I was a little caught off guard about was the price. I've never had my nails filled before and I assumed it would be less? 45 for pink powder, and gels. I guess I wasn't informed on the cost beforehand, but perhaps this is standard. read more

Ok, I've been going here for about 6 months. I really do enjoy the staff. Every single one of them have been nice. Tracy, does exemplary work! Kim does an awesome job! It's clean and I think priced about the same as competitors, with quality work. You are made to feel like part of their family. I would recommend making appts but, they try their best to get everyone in as quickly as possible. Overall I would give them 5 star rating. You be only had dip, eyebrows and pedicures all of which I'm always happy with. I would for sure tell people to come here. read more

Not happy. My technician, the older one, talked on the phone throughout the entire time doing my nails. I was trying to tell her what I wanted but she was so distracted, i had to tell her again when she finished filing the shape that it wasn't what I wanted. She got irritated with me and said something in her own language. Very annoying. The nails were ok, the gel polish wasn't painted neatly. Maybe the other techs were great, I haven't tried them yet. I had been going to another salon regularly for services including pedicures. But, I was having trouble finding an appointment time that worked for me and so decided to give Fabulous Nails a try- they're much closer to my home, making fitting an appointment into my schedule easier. I am SO glad I finally did so! The staff was very polite, friendly, and professional (which was not always the case at the other salon). While the salon is not fancy, it is clean, and the prices are the same or lower than at the other salon. I did have to wait for some time even though I had made an appointment which had been confirmed. But, the staff let me know right away about the wait time and apologized. The pedicure was great and so relaxing that I actually fell asleep a couple of times while the technician worked on me. She took the time and care needed to properly cut and shape my nails, which I appreciated. I will be returning for a manicure and definitely for future pedicures. Don't let the modest appearance of the salon deter you- cleanliness and professionalism are far more important. read more

My mom, sister and I went to Fabulous Nails on Sunday for a girls' day since I am getting married this Saturday. The positive part about this place is the people are nice. However, I had a very undesirable experience. I don't get my toes or nails done very often. I got a French pedicure. The daughter (I'm assuming) of the owners did my toes. The French looked okay, not the best one I've had, but I'm not too picky so I was satisfied. However, the next morning I was at work and looked at my toes and both of my big toes were already messed up (like peeling and/or smudged) and another toe was chipped too. I did not do anything I can recall to mess them up like that. And usually when I get a French it is almost indestructible and last quite a long time. I cannot believe this lasted a day. I am very frustrated because I am getting married on Saturday and now I have to add ANOTHER toe paint to my already long list of things to do. For my nails, I got a manicure with a clear paint because I like a natural look. The mother (I'm assuming) cut my cuticles and made 4 of my fingers bleed and one is still sore. Also, one of my fingernails is already peeling. I'm not sure if the paints this place uses are cheap or if they don't apply them correctly. Like I stated previously, I don't get my nails done often. But I do not remember having this many issues whenever I used to go. I am very disappointed and do NOT recommend going to this place. We went here because it had good reviews and was on the way to other things we had planned for the day. read more
