I came after I picked my son up from his after care program and there was no employee in sight for about 15 minutes. We ended up just grabbing clubs and doing putt putt. At the end there was a teenager who came out when we had gone through probably 8-9 holes and he said "Excuse me, who checked you out?" And I said "No one. No one was here and we weren't gonna wait all night." He was like "I am the manager on shift and that's not true." Clearly trying to not be in trouble. It was absolutely inappropriate the way he treated everyone in there. I don't know what they were doing that whole time but the lack of responsibility they took for not being present where they needed to be was ridiculous. I will call back later and speak to the general manager and pay for the round we did but in my opinion, the kid working should be fired. The cash register was left unmanned, plus all the merchandise, the main door open, the self service card reader wasn't working, there was zero attention to customers. I work with high school students and 98% of them would be more responsible than this. It was completely unprofessional!

Blanchard Family Wines is located in the Dairy Block off of Wazee near Union Station. We went in around the holidays in December and were met with prompt service and very kind servers. The place is set up for groups, parties, or can be just for one or two. They do have a good selection of wines, both whites and reds based off what I saw from their menu. They also had a wine cocktail that was very tasty, though this was seasonal. Looking to try out some new wines, Blanchard's is your place.

We've been attending Mad Science camps for 3 years and have had a great experience. I can't speak…read moreto birthday parties, but the summer camps (and the virtual camps during COVID-19 shutdowns) have been excellent. Both my children have attended Mad Science camps during summer. The camps have been organized, safe, and my kids have enjoyed them. I saw one review mentions an issue with the adult:student ratio, but our experience has been that there are always 2 adults (teacher and assistant) with no more than 12 students K-5. They've attended more than 15 camps and all the teachers and assistants have been good. One time, summer camp was canceled due to low enrollment, but it was not a surprise. Bronwyn from sales reached out in advance to let me know it was possible, and when it was canceled I received a full refund. Obviously, it's not financially sustainable for them to host a camp with 2 adults and 3 kids, so I understood and appreciated their transparency. Right now, Colorado has a "stay at home" executive order, and all schools are closed so I'm working full-time from home with a 1st grader and a 2nd grader. Mad Science to the rescue! They are offering 2 virtual classes each day. The price is affordable, and since I registered in advance they delivered the materials to my doorstep. I also misunderstood and thought they'd provide all printouts, which I needed since our printer ink won't arrive until later this week. Samy (the owner) dropped those off, as well. The classes are really engaging, and it allows me 2+ hours each day to get focused work done. Bottom line is Mad Science Colorado has great teachers, great camps, great classes, and great customer service.

You have to reserve your spot ahead of time online. Each slot is 1.5 hours for $14. They offer a variety of add-ons, such as make your own slime and pottery painting, and be warned, the entrance/exit is packed with toys for purchase, all displayed at toddler eye level, guaranteed to tantalize. There's no food allowed inside, so make sure you do snacks before you go in. They do offer snacks to go in the way out, which was a nice touch.

The Mindbender is an awesome coaster with intense speed and great inversions. The staff was friendly. I don't know how anyone can complain about the price especially for locals buying a season ticket. We didn't do the Waterpark but from a distance it looked pretty solid with at least a half dozen slides and wave pool. Sure some of the park could use a coat of fresh paint but at the end of the day it offers family friendly rides and plenty of thrills along with a decent size Waterpark all for one price. Plus we noticed rides like sling shot and XLR8R which are usually an upcharge at most parks were included with the ticket price, they can easily run you around $30-50 as a standalone ride so that's a value if you like extreme thrills. We really enjoyed the Kaleidoscope by Meow Wolf, while not nearly as detailed as an actual Meow Wolf, this psychedelic dark ride was a lot of fun. The giant wheel was solid as well. Sidewinder is one of only 3 such style coasters operating in the world was very unique. It's not a launch coaster in the modern sense but you start dropping directly into a loop only to come up on the other side and then back again in reverse. Serious g-force and deceptively fast! Overall I thought the park was the perfect size with all the classics for both kids and adults.
