It has been 2 months since my initial hair stroke eyebrow treatment, and I am finally ready to write a review. Jessica will EXCEED your expectations. My eyebrows look naturally full, not harsh or inky like old-school permanent makeup. My brows are naturally fine. I did not suffer from over-tweezed or over-waxed brows, they just grow in very sparse. I showed up to my appointment with my eyebrows completely grown-out, with no make-up. I wanted to be a "blank canvas" for Jessica, so she could see my natural arch and hair-growth pattern. If you don't have a lot of brow hair, don't worry! Jessica will physically touch your face to determine your bone structure and where your natural arch should be. It was comforting how much time she takes diligently measuring and marking your eyebrows before the actual procedure. She will shave a bit of your eyebrows off to reach the skin, but the hair WILL grow back. Jessica will numb the skin beneath your brows first. Honestly, the hair stroke procedure felt like scratches across the skin. No major pain. The entire process took about 2 hours because she makes sure you are happy with the brow shape before she even begins. I came back for my touch-up a month later. GO BACK FOR A TOUCH-UP, even if you don't think you need it. My skin is extremely oily and unfortunately, not every hair stroke retained its pigment. Jessica suggested we go with a darker pigment for the hair strokes, but I was a better candidate for the powdered brow procedure. During the touch-up appointment she gave me powdered brows and they ARE PERFECT. My pain threshold for the powdered brow procedure was lower, it felt more like a traditional tattoo. Each time, my eyebrows healed in 10 days. You will see the full effect a month later. PATIENCE LADIES! This is your face, and you will be nervous during the healing process, but Jessica is an expert at her craft. She is an artist! read more

I got my eyebrows done by Jessica. I love love love them, They look so beautiful, soft and very natural. I always get complimantes on them. she was very professional and made me feel so relaxed. I was pretty nervous about getting the proceedure, but it didnt hurt and she made my eyebrows look perfect. Jessica is so awesome! I recently went to Face Forward to have my eyebrows done, and I was very impressed with Jessica's skill and knowledge on the tattooing process. She was very pleasant to speak to and had some awesome stories, which is important when you have someone jabbing your face with a painful instrument. (Trust me -- It definitely helped the time go by faster!) She even gave me some inspiration to redesign my fireplace at home when I learned that she had done the awesome stenciling in her suite herself! METICULOUS. That is the best word to describe Jessica's process. I just had my follow up eyebrow tattoo appointment on Saturday (you will need to book a follow up [2 appts. total], as it takes a while to see how well the pigment takes and for you to assess whether or not you need more 'strokes' added after the swelling goes down. This is something I've considered doing for a long time, but I'm so glad I chose to get the work done by Jessica. The first appointment is two hours, and believe me you need two hours; this is where the meticulous (or OCD?) attention to detail sets in. She takes an hour + to measure, compare and adjust as she draws your brows in, before she even starts tattooing. After you and she are both satisfied, she begins the tattooing. She opens new needle kits for every client, so no used needles. She puts numb cream on your brows first, but let me warn you, if you are in the 'fun' part of your cycle, I'd wait a week. My first session wasn't particularly painful, the second, at the end of my cycle - BIG difference, tolerable, but def more intense. Besides being so talented, concerned and meticulous, Jessica is truly a lovely person. Without a doubt, she's the only person I'd want to stick a needle repeatedly in my face ;) PS - if you are thumbing through a magazine and see someone with great brows, it's helpful to bring the pic with you. read more

Love my new brows! So many compliments and they were so easy! I got my eye liner first, and couldn't believe how great it was to not have to apply liner at 6 am and have it still there after a long day! I haven't been to the new location yet, but as soon as I get a day off I'm coming in for a massage!!!! read more

Jessica really cares about the outcome of her work and has followed up with me consistently to see how my cosmetic tattoo looks. If I could Jessica 10 stars I would. I had to go back a total of 4 times. Not Jessica's fault, just that I tend to bleed a lot so the color on one eyebrow was not taking as much as I would like. Also, I am very picky :) Jessica really stood behind her work. Squeezed me in for all the touch-ups. It really says a lot about her customer service and business ethic. The final product looks awesome. So natural looking and I get complimented on my brows now. I would not go to anyone else and neither should you! read more
