Mondi is amazing. She takes her time and really makes sure that your eyebrows look the best they can be. I have never had someone thread my eyebrows who took so much time and care. She made sure to note where my eyebrows need to be given some extra care due to past times I had them threaded. She fixed them and made them looks SO good. This was partly my fault because I should have asked for the price of her services. Do not come here to get your face threaded. She charged me an arm and a leg. I have been getting my face threaded since I was 18. The most I have been charged was $28 in San Rafael. I get my eyebrows, my lips, and chin done. She charged me $52. Not only that, but during my services she attended to customers coming in. I wasn't expecting it because first it's not done in a professional setting and I figured it'd be about the same as in San Rafael. I will be driving to SR from now on. Fire cupping therapy = real relief! I went to Mondi because like everyone else in our society right now, I was feeling a lot of tension and anxiety (pandemic, wild fires, election, yada yada). My neck/should/upper back region was so tense that a normal massage just wasn't enough, I needed an all-immersive experience to fully clear my mind and let my body relax. This really worked! It was absolutely unsanitary. She left my face totally swollen and bleeding then tried to charge me an arm and a leg then proceeded to have an awful attitude about it and blamed my skin! The lady had a bunch of children running around distracting her while she was doing it and she took a phone call and was arguing with someone in the middle of the threading... awful service! Mondi is magic! After a 90 minute session with her I feel amazing -everything feels better, my upper back, lower back, my bad knee and even my sinuses are clear. Also my mind feels very positive and content and I have tons of extra energy. My sleep has been very deep and I wake up energized. Im so happy to have found her. When I went in a few days ago, I felt down and sluggish and very stiff. Today I feel better than ever, like I took a two week vacation. This was truly therapy. I thought I was going in for someone to mash my muscles around for an hour and left with a feeling of euphoria. I'm not sure if this is for everyone but I believe you get what you put in. So, if you're honest with what you're looking for she definitely will find a way to make that happen for you. I had the cupping session followed by a full body massage. Great price and she even continued much past the hour. Mondi is a very kind person who listens to what you say and what your body needs. I hadn't mentioned anything about where on my body needed help and she found exactly where I've had chronic pain. Some things to look out for - There are two places which she works from. If you're the type that likes more of a quiet environment, I'd ask for the doctor's office which is across from Trader Joe's. Otherwise, the one in Marin Fitness is more then adequate - but you'll have to throw the dice if you get some meat head yelling about his gains and how to do proper reps haha. This is a great place to go for a relaxing eyebrow threading experience. The table was comfortable and warm, music was relaxing and Mondi is very experienced threader and sweet lady. She did an excellent job on my eyebrows, took her time, and I felt refreshed after. She also does massages and cupping. But alas I won't be able to try this out as I'm only in town for a day. So unprofessional! I bought a 3 massages package as she was offering a good deal-$60/h-The first massage was relaxing enough. As for the 2nd massage , she arrived 1/2 hour late...that I could understand but the massage lasted only 40 minutes! As I mentioned it to Mondi, she became very defensive. I offered to add 20 minutes to the 3rd massage to make it up. She then went on arguing and even being aggressive. No need to say that I was not expecting such a behavior from someone you come to see to have a relaxing and supposed to be therapeutic moment. I recently began working out with heavy free weights, its been many months since I had been training. I pulled a muscle in my upper back and shoulder. The pain was so intense and so bad I couldn't turn my head and it literally hurt to breathe. I thought I would be going to the hospital for sure. It was finally later in the afternoon I could not stand the pain any longer so I called Mondi. I just wanted to try a massage to see if something would help. I was not excepting anything to really help the pain was so incredible. I went to Marin Fitness in Novato square and met with Mondi. She talked briefly about what she does and described her cupping technique along with hands on body work. I was a bit skeptical because I have never done anything except standard massage before. Mondi performed an intense cupping therapy for about 20 min including heavy weight hot compresses on my back and body. It was amazing and felt so good. She worked on me for about an hour and really got deep into the muscle and my entire body. I have never had such a great strong massage like this before. She is very strong and really knows exactly what she is doing. I felt very good after but still in some pain and discomfort. Mondi told me I would be sore over night but by morning the pain would be gone. She was right. I could not believe it but she was right. The pain was completely gone and I was actually able to start working out again lifting very heavy free weights. Mondi is a true body healer! Let me say this again, Mondi is a true body healer. She is my new massage therapist. I am completely amazed by her... The experience was great and I would encourage anyone with sore muscles or discomfort to give her a try. Thank you Mondi! read more
