On my first appointment with her, she asked if my tox person had placed it in this certain spot to bring my brow tail up and out a bit and i was like 'WHAT?!? I don't think so?!? Please do that immediately!' lol And every time we do a little extra for my lips she listens to what I want and is conservative while GETTING that I do not look like a duck or have noticeable filler. When I showed her what I wanted more of from my bottom lip she did her thing and it came out exactly right. Do I have the lips of my late 80's, early 90's teen mag dreams? No because those giant puffy lips are not my genetics. HOWEVER... my lips are beautiful, natural looking and SO MUCH fuller and more visible than they were on their own. They are actually ideal and it took me decades to get here, but I'm here thanks to Laura. She also did an INCREDIBLE job with Sculptra (seriously, people that do heavy cheek filler are missing out) and I look at myself now like 'oh! yeah, THAT is what I look like'. I lost some weight over the last 3 years (naturally, slowly, but still) and with age on top of it, I realized i just didn't look like me anymore. Very poor communication and customer service at LaserAway Novato…read more I had an appointment scheduled, and when I showed up today, the person at the front desk told me, "Oh, your appointment was canceled. We sent you a text message." I told her that I never received a message. Her response was, "Did you check your spam folder?" How am I supposed to know that my appointment has been canceled if the only notification is a text message that I never received? If a business is canceling an appointment, especially one that was scheduled in advance, I would expect clear communication. A phone call would have been the appropriate way to make sure I was actually notified. Instead, I drove to my appointment only to find out after arriving that it had been canceled. The front desk representative also did not make any real effort to resolve the situation. I was left feeling like my time did not matter. Very poor customer service and communication. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at LaserAway Novato and would warn other customers to confirm their appointments ahead of time, because apparently a cancellation text that may end up in your spam folder is considered sufficient communication.

When I ask for a 'just little bit more volume' he always encourages me to give it a couple weeks and come back for any touchups I may want. His philosophy makes me feel safe and confident that I won't walk out of his office looking over-injected and fake. (I prefer the natural look). I've also had IPL and Vivace treatments with Dr. Young. VIVACE IS MAGICAL! The results of microneedling with radio frequency, along with his skilled technique, leaves my skin looking immediately glowing, plump and healthy.
