I'm so sad making this review. I love going to Nina. Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience this time. Half of my lashes started falling off a few days later. Every time I brushed them they would fall off so much. It was so disappointing, and frankly not what I asked for. Response: I didn't mean you specifically did my lashes, i apologize if it came off that way. I do think that if you guys couldn't work on my lashes because of the services I had done previously, then that should have been communicated to me. I tried to book an appointment with this business and the process was unpleasant. The only thing I can say was they were willing to let me make a cash deposit. I told them I would come at 1 and no one was there when I got there. I kept calling and no one answered. Someone finally answered after I left and told me they were out to lunch. Afte reading DOZENS of Yelp reviews for different studios, I found Nina's studio and I am SO glad I did! Her studio is located in a really nice beauty location with different salons and studios inside. The location is VERY clean and welcoming. Nina was very sweet, and she was ready exactly at my appointment time. Her space was very comfortable which is important when you have to lay there for 2 hours. She even played a Christmas movie to listen too while she worked. I LOVE her attention to detail. I showed her some photos of eyelashes I liked, and she literally did EXACTLY what I was envisioning! It took the full 2 hours for me because I have big eyes, but I was really comfortable the whole time. And, more importantly, my eyelashes look AMAZING! I've been seeing Nina on & off for over a year now after a botched tint & lift at another local salon. Initially I was bummed Nina couldn't do my lashes because they weren't in great shape, but I've grown accustomed to her being very honest about my lash health. Nina will apply lashes in whichever style you like; however, she will be honest about what may or may not be best for you. It's important to give your natural lashes a break if you've been causing damage from rubbing, not drying, or picking and Nina will tell you when it's time. I appreciate this as any other tech might continue applying to make more money. I can contact Nina about any concerns & she'll tell me to swing in and see her. She cares very much about your health, safety, and satisfaction. I don't trust anyone else with my eyes. As far as reviews mentioning comments from Nina - Some people and cultures are just more direct, but it's not meant to be humiliating - Nina is trying to be helpful & offer any services you would like. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because my lashes look amazing. I've gotten a full set once and then had them filled 2 weeks later. Anna did one set and Nina did the other. The first experience was amazing. It was calming music with a waterfall in the background. The second time it was some kind of hip hop rap-not bad music-but definitely not soothing and relaxing. Also-when I went for my second set, I felt Personally attacked the whole time. As soon as I sat down, she started talking about how thin my lashes were. After that, she spent a few minutes criticizing my face and the way my makeup lays on it and told me I needed a facial (Dont worry. They do facials there ). Then I was practically scolded for sleeping on my side. I fall asleep on my back-but roll at night. But that's not okay to do with extensions. When she was done with my fill, she let me know she wouldn't do them again. She would take them off and sell me a serum to use for a while and hopefully make them thicker. I will never be back. I have a couple consultations next week to get second opinions, but from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out-it was an unpleasant experience that I never want to have again. read more

Service: I have selected to get regular set of lashes. Even tho I asked for a regular set she made my lashes look very voluminous. Her attention to detail is quite frankly scary. She leaves no space in between my lashes. She gives me very detailed instructions for after care for my lashes. Cleanliness: The studio it self is very clean. Her tools are sealed in those sterile blue pouches so you know she's using a clean set every time. Relaxation: Her bed is equipped with a massage pad underneath *drools*. She plays appropriate music to the appropriate client. She makes sure you are comfortable before starting the service by providing you with a blanket if you're cold and turning on the massage table. In the end I would be recommending Nina to anyone that wants to get their lashes done. read more

Nina was sweet, personable, super detailed, and gentle. You can tell she really cares about her work and her clients.
