Before I left I walked up to her & said "You need to be cloned". Michelle looked a little confused so I explained myself. I'm retired from corporate America having worked at the 2nd largest multimedia news group in the country. I told Michelle she was the most amazing person. Why? Because she was so professional, confident, articulate, knowledgeable & efficient. I was just blown away by her, even more so after speaking with her! I've worked with a lot of managers/directors in my career and they have nothing on Michelle. I could tell she was really enthusiastic & loves her job. I would say she is truly a rare gem especially since I discovered how kind & thoughtful she is. Seriously speaking, I would never have retired early if I had a manager like her. If you haven't considered her for management yet, you definitely need to move this woman to the top of the list asap. If I had a say, I'd make her the manager of everything! Lol She is absolutely the best of the best! On a side note, the cashier was pretty awesome too. She was friendly, professional with the best personality for a cashier. Such a perfect match for her position. We even had couple of laughs too over finding the right style top for us older women. I didn't catch her name though. I have bought dozens of Barbies, stuffed animals, children's books, doll houses, American Girl items, CDs, DVDs, purses, plates, Halloween costumes and some pieces of art work that I bought for a few dollars. One was valued at Antiques Road Show for several hundred dollars. I think prices have risen in the last couple of years but the cost of everything has risen. I have never encountered an employee who was not polite and helpful. Customers need to recognize that a thrift store does not offer the amenities of a store in the mall. If you need to try something on, be prepared to shop elsewhere.

Over the past few years, I've noticed that they've upped their pricing pretty outrageously which has bothered me for a long time, having to pass on things I could use because it's too expensive... Multiple things I usually go for are even higher now -- VHS movies has had a 33% increase apparently since my last visit, which is ridiculous. I came across a pair of beat up black sweats a few weeks ago, with no waistband label mind you, for $34.99! I asked someone who worked there who agreed that it seemed like a mistake, so she went to ask a manager. When she came back, she informed me that they were priced that way "because they're lululemon". Now I don't know diddly-squat about whatever that brand is, but I don't care! They were really worn... grunge level wear and that's why they appealed to me (I needed comfy sweats for home) who cares about brand when a) there's not even a label on them to know for sure and b) as Ignacio says -- "sometimes you wear stretchy pants, IN YOUR ROOM" like, COME ON!! I'm not trying to impress my dogs with bougie PJs! Another day ---Really beat up & filthy converse were $18.99. Vans in similar condition were $24.99 with missing shoe laces, another pair I recall from a couple months back were $45.99 in the men's section. What is that, like 75% of what new ones cost?! Then today, I came across these two pairs of Docs at $60 & $65?! Hell no, I find better deals on FB Marketplace for used Docs. I'm not expecting garage sale prices here but this is straight up robbery in our sh*t economy. This Fairview store's Manager needs to chill and FYI, this company's CEO had a 10.8 million dollar salary last year, from what I've read. What a piece of --for a for-profit company to charge these prices for DONATED ITEMS, $$ only going charity if required to. Shameful!! Take note, Savers pricers --- this is a Thrift store. Act like it. Everyone sees what you're doing (as noted in my photo) We also know there are plenty of other Idaho-based thrift stores where we DON'T get ripped off and our $ actually makes a difference in our community. Better tax write offs NOT to donate to you too. I'll never set foot in your store again.

The most…read morerecent time I was in here I was shocked that deeply used and worn t-shirts were $6/$7+ dollars. Deeply used jackets and blazers $20/$25+. And while yes, this is lower than buying new, you can find a new, unworn t-shirt for $8/$9. New coats or blazers $30 at most sales, new. I stopped coming to Savers because the prices rising for free, used items was upsetting. Well if I was upset the last time, imagine this most recent visit, I couldn't stop telling my mom how much the prices were since the last time I was in, it consumed me :). I am not a grumpy person and often look to the positives but the pricing here has gotten way too out of hand! Suggestion Savers: sell all your donated items for next to nothing and move more items faster! Isn't it more valuable to sell 3, $3.00 items than 1, $7.00 item? Asking for a friend. And good lucky finding a sale tag. It is like finding a unicorn on a rainbow. It probably won't happen. But never say never :) I will say, the people working at the checkout (including self checkout!) and people collecting donations are always fantastic and interactive. They turn my price tag shock frown upside down. I am hopeful you may find a deal here if you spend enough time!

Please continue to go here and if you speak Spanish please report this issue bellow . Many calls are needed for a change . It needs to be known that this happend and we need answers to see what will be done about this . My daughter wanted a toy behind the counter and I asked Tracy ( the person at the register that I was checking-out with . If my daughter could get a toy and if she could give it to her . Angie got maniac crazy screaming at me in Spanish and wouldn't stop. I told Angie she was on the clock to stop and she was in the background screaming at me and cursing at me in Spanish calling me names .she said she didn't care . Debbie the manager in duty did nothing when she came back to help me return the things I bought. Angie continued to curse at me in Spanish . Angie was not stopped .Debbie didn't do anything and continue to do my return. Debbie eventually said " Angie stop " with a laughter and didn't stop Angie , as she continue to curse at me in Spanish . I asked Debbie for the corporate number and she said she didn't know it , Angie continue to scream at me then said I could google it if I wanted to . this is not store policy . It was humiliating . Mental health is important , there is no sane reason to curse at anyone while purchasing items . I hope Goodwill addresses this issue to where Angie no longer gets to curse at anyone in any languages she knows . Spanish speakers should be welcome and not by cursing at us .
