I am not the type of person to treat myself to facials, massages, or any self care professional services, but after my facial with Christina I am convinced that these types of services shouldn't be reserved for just the random "treat yo' self" spa day; they should be part of your regular health maintenance routine. Christina is a true professional and her space is clean and calming (the wallpaper in the bathroom is worth a visit on its own). Before my appointment Christina asked me about my daily at home skin care routine and the products I use. She also had me fill out a health history and did an in-depth examination of my skin before proceeding with my facial. I appreciated her thoroughness and clear communication. I loved how Christina explained everything she was doing and gave me insight as to how certain products would feel after application. She checked in with me frequently and conversation with her was so easy and natural. My skin felt and looked amazing afterwards. My Aesthetician for years and dear friend moved to Idaho so I was lost wandering around in search of a comparable facial and skincare pro like I was used to that showed me results. Today I booked with Christina's Aesthetics, who recently moved to Crush Salon in Fremont. I booked the Deluxe Hydrafacial with Christina. The salon is hopping but her facial room was peaceful and relaxing. The only thing you hear is great music and the sound of her voice explaining each step. We discussed my previous skincare and got started. This facial was customized to my specific needs. I love that! She cleansed, used a chilled rose quartz stone across my face, exfoliated my face and neck, and extracted my pores, used several individualized hydra serums that targeted my skins current needs and massaged my shoulders, arms and hands. The facial I chose included the "Red Light" treatment-- which I've never tried before but very much wanted. (It's purpose is to wake up your skin cells and get them energized and looking youthful again). Christina is a sweetheart. A true Skin Care Professional--With a confident and gentle manner. You'll feel like you've known her forever. She allows you to completely relax as she works or ask questions as she goes. My session lasted about an hour and a half. A facial should you choose should have a well trained Aesthetician performing it, a variety of quality treatments to choose from or modify depending on you skins needs, and a soothing atmosphere where it's performed so that you can relax and enjoy it. I had my first ever facial with Christina on Friday and WOW, I am so happy with my experience. Not only did Christina so have a wonderful space that was relaxing and beautifully set up, but she also has such a warm and friendly vibe. I was a bit nervous for my first facial, but Christina took the time to really explain everything and walk me through what each step was that she was doing. I also really loved that she customized the facial to me based on my concerns about my skin. The actual facial itself was so relaxing- I almost fell asleep at least 3 times, and I was truly so sad when it was over. Afterwards, Christina took some time to go over the products I use (we had a consultation prior to my facial and she did some research on the products I use to really dig into if they're good for my skin) and she recommended some products that she had that I ended up purchasing. Christina is located in a very very cute clean and quiet spa all to herself, when you walk in you are greeted by her huge amazing smile & positive vibe that automatically puts a smile right on your face no matter what kind of day you were having before stepping into her spa. Then you see this little welcome sign with your name on it, you might not think that's a big deal but for me that totally is because if she took the time to put my name on her welcome sign that means she really cared to make me feel special & for that one hour it was going to be all about me, not my little ones, not my Hubby all about me & let me tell you she sure did make me feel like it was all about me!
