I have pretty good skin, but I've been dying to get myself a facial with the fires going on. Jasmine was super sweet to take me on such short notice with having a full schedule on her hands. I opted for the HydraFacial Deluxe, and added on the LightStim treatment! LOVE! If there's one thing I can say about my experience- my skin came out looking BOMB! Jasmine will tell you that your skin will be clear after the acne boot camp, but I do not think she caters to very sensitive skin. My wedding is in one week and my skin is more inflamed than ever. She then gave me a hydra facial and instead of making my skin feel more hydrated and bouncy, it has actually dried my skin out even more. My skin is flaky, peeling, tight, red and painful. DO NOT GO TO HER because she will tell you that she can fix it, but instead for me she made it worse. After having spent over TWO THOUSAND dollars for the treatments and her products, I expected better results. My mistake. Indians and all skin of color people STAY AWAY. She will RUIN your skin. Only plus point, her salon is clean and aesthetically pleasing. I went to pick up one last box from her, and she wasn't there, but there was a man in her shop who was EXTREMELY rude. He seemed to be her relative and he said he knew the shop but wouldn't let me purchase any items and didn't know how to charge. When I asked to speak to Jasmine or for him to call her, he said he didn't have a phone and then said I don't have her number. He then kicked me and my elderly mother out of the shop. He wouldn't give me his name, was rude, and used foul language. This whole experience has been extremely frustrating because Jasmine will tell you that you should come to her with any concerns about your skin and then will say that it wasn't her fault that her treatments didn't work on your skin. A little backstory on how I found Jasmine and how she saved my skin! My now husband and I had pretty decent skin through most of our 20's, probably an occasional break out here and there. Then Covid hit and we both worked in health care. I was working directly with Covid patients, had N95s on for an extended amount of time, stress and hormones all over the place, and eventually had Covid ourselves. After getting Covid, our skin was the worst it has ever been. Fast forward to us being engaged and soon to be married, we were looking for someone to help us feel confident in our skin again. I have acne prone skin and needed a hydrafacial because it was at its worst. Lys by Jasmine was recommended by a friend and was such a different experience, I decided to sign up for the membership (which I never do). Jasmine was great with my sensitive skin during the facial and also spoke/explained my skin and what I need to start doing at home. It's been 1 week and my face has not looked this clear since 2019. I booked an online appointment for a customized facial at the Newark location. Jasmine responded to confirm. She texted me all of the information needed from what to expect to detailed information on where to find them. I probably would have been lost. I'm so glad she informed me of the exact location inside the mall. I entered a cozy and relaxing room. Jasmine greeted me with a hug. I filled out some paperwork. We discussed my concerns with my face. She was very informative. Her customer service skills were way above average. The facial was very relaxing and soothing. I was under a heated blanket which felt very comfortable. I truly enjoyed it. She extracted some blackheads that I had without pain. Because of the pandemic, I suffered from "maskne" mixed with hormonal and stress acne. I found LYS by Jasmine, messaged her on instagram and she responded quickly. Since salons were closed, she gave me tips on how to take care of my skin. When restrictions have been lifted, I signed up for acne bootcamp (end of January 2021) and she accomodated me right away.
