Bought a set of crash bars. I love the design but they are cheaply made or maybe that fat diameter adds to the sun standard quality of the product. Got hit by a car going maybe 15 mph and they completely twisted. They are so weak I was able to bend them back into place by hand so I could ride home. read more

I've been talking to Andrew and his people at the Long Beach Motorcycle Swapmeet now for a couple months. I want to put taller handlebars on my HD Road Glide. They have a GREAT set up that they take to the swapmeet. It's simple really....just a welded together stand with a Harley seat and then a front section that mimics the front of a bike. They have a custom set of there bars there that you can adjust up and down. It's great because you can sit on it and actually see what it feels like and what the difference is between 10", 12", 14", 16" and 18" bars are from a riding position. Otherwise you're just guessing. Well, after picking their brains for a couple visits (it's a big investment....over $1000 with cables and install and you want to make SURE you're getting the best ones) I decided on the 16" Malo Bars. Paid for them yesterday and drove by to pick them up from their shop today. The shop has a small reception / showroom. It's clean and comfortable. One thing about these guys is every interaction I've had with them has been pleseant and causal. They really seem like they happy to be there. Picked them up from the nice lady behind the counter.....and took off for home. The quality on these is terrific and I'm really looking forward to getting them on. Tip: If you buy them at the LB show......they usually knock a few bucks off...."show special" and all that. read more

A few shop bikes sit in the shop and they let you sit and feel what bars are to your liking from Soft tails, Road Glide, Street Glide, ect. Horrible service. Never sent me order confirmation, took my money, and then refused a refund because I did not have order confirmation that they never provided me. They had my information to take money from my bank account, because I provided proof of the transaction but they couldn't find my order to fulfill it or refund me. Very disgusted and would highly recommend not purchasing from this dishonest company. They ask for emails I sent them the only two email accounts I have, no nothing, no order exists. I ordered some fishtail pipes for my 2006 Harley and they didn't slip on as advertised. I was told that I also had to order their bracket. I did, at $114, but it didn't fit and they asked me to return them. I got charged $14 to re-stock them! They wouldn't do the right thing and give me a full refund. Cost me $25 to return them as well. I have been buying factory 47 bars for the last three, I am a veteran which I served n two wars, they have been giving me my military discount for years, today theirs a new process to go online to get a verification of a veteran before they will provide a discount. went online and was unable to get verify due to the website not working correctly, I called factory 47 and they said they would honor my discount and gave me a price. I sent my assistance down there like every other time I purchase my bars and today they wouldn't honor it. its been the same person picking my bars for me and the same salesperson, and yes they lost my records also. so today they charge me full price even when they told me they would honor my discounted price... today is my last day I will go back to factory 47 and the last day I will recommend them to anyone. I did 10 years for this country and I held myself to honor everything I say or do... I guess this world knows nothing about that including employees at factory 47. Update.... As promised, bars showed up today at 12 noon. Less than a 24 hour turn around. Look great. Can't wait to mount them up. Thanks again factory 47 Wow. Talk about customer service. I had an appointment today to drop off my bike for a large build consisting of stage one tune, exhaust, boom audio, led lighting, tons of accessories, some chrome pieces, and factory 47 bars. I thought I timed it right so that the bars would be here in time for the scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, the timing was off. I called factory 47 and asked if they could rush order my bars and overnight them. With a little please and thank you, my bars are being sent out tonight and ready for delivery tomorrow. I purchased the 12" assault bars (Black) for my 2016 Street Glide and all I can say is "What a difference"! The stock bars were really wearing on me, if you've got a bad back you know what im talking about. I'm 5'10 and don't have very long arms so I was nervous about putting apes on my bike, along with the bars being 37 1/2" wide. Simple fix I just pulled them back about 1 1/4" off the fairing and now my arms are parallel with the ground and to be honest I can't say enough about how KickAss these bars are! I watched the install video on youtube which made installation super easy although I had a buddy help me in pulling wires and holding the fairing, it took us rookies 6hrs to install. Next purchase will be the Black engine guard. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they didn't give me a "Decal or Sticker" which may sound stupid but Hell im proud of my bike and the upgrades ive done and I like throwing stickers on the back of my truck. Seems to me you guys would want some free advertising for your Kickass brand, you still Rock...! read more
