I wanted to write this review after a few weeks of getting my bike back. If you're looking for a spot to repair your motorcycle after an accident, LOOK NO FURTHER Recently, I was rear-ended at a red light by a sedan not paying attention. TBH I was more bummed out about the bike more than the injuries. Insurance reached out and highly recommended the AWESOME team at RPE Motorcycle. After doing some review reading with both HD and RPE, I decided to pull the trigger with RPE. They had glowing reviews from a bunch of people who decided to go this route rather than the dealership. When my bike was picked up, I had to pleasure of meeting Rob. He assured me the bike would "come back SO MUCH BETTER than what it was." He and his team updated me every step of the way, from when parts came in, options for alternative parts, or even if there were any delays in shipping. CONSTANT COMMUNICATION! When I finally got the call that the bike was ready (so much faster than I expected), I rushed over. Rob was there to hand off the keys and we went through what he and his team had done with my baby! If you are anywhere remotely close to this place and are not getting your motorcycle serviced, or parts installed here, you are wrong. Skip the overpriced dealer. This is one the the last few remaining honest motorcycle shops. I have taken several bikes to RPE and have always received fantastic service at a more than reasonable price. This last time I visited, I was quoted 2 hours labor to track down an electrical gremlin causing my bike to stall. RPE ended up charging me 1.5 hours because they stated they did not have a full 2 hours of labor into it. Do your self, your motorcycle, and your wallet a favor and visit RPE. read more

Very VERY honest people. I took my bike here cus it didn't feel like it was running right. Nate took it for a ride after analyzing the chain and fixing it up. After that simple fix, the bike ran perfectly! They could have been dishonest and said it was something other than the chain and pressed me to pay lots of money for a simple fix that really cost me nearly nothing. HIGHLY recommend the shop! This has to be the best one stop shop out there. They stock everything and if it's not in stock, they can get it. Rob the owner is a super nice guy and really gives great customer service. Nate is the master mechanic who knows everything there is to know about motorcycles. Both go out of their way to help you, and the service is fast. I bought a 2014 sportster superlow from the shop about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. Price was thousands less than a Harley dealer and the modifications already on it made the deal even sweeter. You don't have to spend hours signing paperwork. This review is for their price of parts only. I want to support local stores when I can and decided to go here to purchase a chain for my bike. I guess it was my fault not doing the research prior but I figure it can't be that much of a difference. I purchase a chain that was recommended and pay close to $100. I come home and check online and the exact same chain is nearly $30 cheaper with shipping!!! No joke!!! Normally I would ask for a refund but they cut two links to fit my bike so can't really return it and it's really my fault for being a dumb consumer and believing that local shops can compete with the efficiencies of online. Man I tell you!!!! was in there sat ,missing some front caliper bolts. brake caliper pretty much hanging they rattled loose. this guy went far and beyond on trying to help me out. he looked and looked and tried a few bolts he had, but no luck. so he is able to come up with a great solution. THEN!!!! he only wants to charge me $10.00!!!!!! that to me was priceless. The first time I took bike here for a tire change was in 2001. They had some long-hair dipshit mechanic that gashed my rim. He left years ago, and the motorcycle gods sent Nate. Now, RPE is my #1 go-to shop. Nate (mechanic) is, by far, the best mechanic I have ever been to. He never scratches my wheels during tire changes. He does fantastic work on big jobs, and takes the time to describe the problem to me. On several occasions, Nate has shown me my worn out parts beside new parts to make sure I know what's going on with my bike. He makes very reasonable recommendations on methods of repair and parts replacement; no gouging or unnecessary work, just what it will take to keep the bike running reliably. Rob and Nate are always straight up about working on my bikes. They have decades of experience with bikes which clearly shows when a problem bike is brought in. Their passion for motorcycles is very evident. They make very educated preliminary repair assessments, which often prove true when the bike is on the bench. If they don't have OEM or aftermarket parts in stock, it can be ordered, usually arriving within the week. They sell all the good stuff (brembo, DID, Ohlins, EBC, Yoshimura, etc). If you need chain/sprocket kits, look no further. If you need the top end rebuilt, cases swapped, forks seals replaced...anything at all, this is a fantastic shop. read more

After using a certain mechanic for 30 years I decided to try a different shop just to compare their service. I probably should've made an appointment but I decided to just roll up. I was helped immediately, the bike was ready in one hour, and the price to fix my brakes was much less than I thought. I asked the mechanic a few technical questions about gears, (which I already knew the answers to), and he answered them perfectly. He passed my trustworthiness and professionalism test. I have a problem with my 2007 HD Deluxe. It turns off while on the freeway or existing the freeway. I did my research but they confirmed my fuel can not get to low. Ron recommended to check fuel consummation. My right turn signal remains on it flickers and they said it was an expensive fix. They would have to rewire the aftermarket wiring that I have. I was completely unaware that i had that. I asked about changing the fuel injection and fuel pipe but that would be an $800.00 cost for repairs. but was not aware that my clutch switch was not active they adjusted the switch housing so now I will not have to put the bike in neutral to restart it when it unexpectedly turns off on me while I am on the freeway. I am happy they inspected my bike. When I got home. I had took off my seat and tighten my battery cables. Now my bike feels a bit safer. read more

Ok, so I didnt expect these guys to be good, considering how small the place looked and everything, but my friend who referred me to this place vouched for them, and now I can see why! This placed met my expectations, A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN BERTS MEGA MALL with their customer service, efficiency, and just the overall quality of their work! When they tell you how long it will take to work on something, they will make sure it gets done within that time limit or even sooner!!! They said they would need about 1hr to get my tire changed, they actually got it done about 20-30mins sooner!! Which was great because I was running late that day. Also, when I went to get my third service done, they got my baby running so beautifully I was so giddy the first couple of days after the fact, and they even fixed my turn signal like it was no biggie!!! Bert's said it was a kink or something in the wires so they had to go through the whole system or whatever which was probably more money out of my pocket, and I wasnt too happy about that. Speaking of Bert's, I had to get my bike"s services done and they take a hell of a long time which made me miss an appointment once. And there was actually a time where I needed some parts for my bike and they selected the wrong part 2-3 times,which was a waste of my time, the days that I went to pick them up. So I guess bigger doesn't mean better right? ;) So yea, if you want your shit done right the first time, go to RPE Motorcycle!!! read more

Brought my 2015 R3 in to get lowered and had adjustable levers put on. Rob the owner is way Awesome and has an incredible knowledge of all bikes out there. His mechanic Nate worked his magic and now I'm a happy camper. My bike is now officially "Funsize" just like me. My rear tire was installed incorrectly by the owner and caused damage to my rear brake caliper bracket. After having the mechanic(nate) look at it the rear tire he informed me that everything is fine and that damage was cosmetic and if I pushed for a replacement part I might not be welcomed back. After speaking with the owner he offered an apology but kept deflecting and telling me how much I ran my mouth about other shops and how I was talking bad about him balancing the rear wheel which made me nervous when he had to call in his daughter to help him. I slid my iron 883 about two months ago and took it into RPE for repairs. They helped me get through my insurance claim/repairs so quick and easy. Needed a Valve Adjustment/15K Service done for my 2007 GSXR 600 and after checking around RPE Motorcycle was the CHEAPEST place to have it done (In Orange County), and after speaking to Nate (their head mechanic) who really knows his stuff I felt pretty confident leaving my bike in his hands. They went above and beyond what would be expected of a valve adjustment service and even fixed a few of my other problems for free. If you want a no bullshit motorcycle mechanic that will go the extra mile for you and treat you with the utmost respect, these are the guys to do it.
