We pre ordered some treats for a breakfast for about 10 people this weekend. They were able to prep our order in advance and have it ready for pickup at 8:30am before they opened. We got their pumpkin bread, coffee cake, mini muffins, homemade pop tarts, scones, and English muffin bread. Everything was delicious. The real standouts were the English muffin bread and pumpkin loaf (seasonal). The English muffin bread was dense but chewy with an English muffin texted and tasty crust. Toasted with butter and jam, it was delicious. The pumpkin bread was very light and super moist. Would love to go back during their normal business hours to try more treats! read more

My gosh I'll be dreaming about these salted caramel brownies for years to come. My only regret is not getting more! The homemade pop tarts were also standout. Instead of choosing between the cinny sugar and raspberry just get both. The cupcakes didn't blow me away, so next time I'll just double up on those pop tarts and brownies and maybe try some other new things. I've been coming to New Hope for years and for some reason did not come in before now. This is a great local place that really care about people. I called when I was in Flemington NJ and called them because someone said there were two locations hoping to find them in Flemington. Anyone the person who told me there were two places was wrong. When I come to New Hope I usually bring cookies and pastries from Bensonhurst Brooklyn for my friends. Driving to New Hope was a last minute decision so a local bakery had to do. The person who answered the phone was bright, cheery, caring and made me want to drive 30 minutes to cry them. I arrived in New Hope, it's a small shop although everyone including the customer were very friendly. It seems like everything is baked right on premises, all natural and just tastes great. They have some unusual combinations of flavors and names that makes you want to try all the different cookies and pastries. As mentioned before, everyone was courteous, great pastries, cookies, and deserts. They bake everything fresh so if you wait until later in the day you may miss out on the great selection. The flavors were spot on- 6" Orange, Almond, Poppy was sweet, delicate, and fragrant all at the same time. 6" Vanilla + Lavender with creative blackberry filling, chocolate frosting, & lavender-honey permeation was a combination worth taking a gamble on. Cake was not dry this time. But prices climbed quite a bit & decorating wasn't quite as fabulous- the one cake was blank (was supposed to read Happy 50th Birthday) & a less colorful display- mostly white flowers when last year's had the addition of figs. The pastries here look adorable and are delicious. Freshly baked and the service is very friendly. I love how brightly lit this place is. It's further out then most joints in the area, but it's literally such a quaint town, it's worth walking the extra two houses over to get some pastries. We love Factory Girl and have ordered curbside pickup constantly during COVID shelter in place. We're super happy with the safe setup they have. And the baked goods are sooooo delicious. The Small Bites Box may be my favorite of everything we have tried so far--basically every bar in there is perfect. And it's so fun to have a variety of a bunch of different bars cut into bite size pieces. It's basically a perfect situation. We also love the cinnamon buns for weekend breakfast. My boyfriend loves the homemade pop tarts. I like that they try out interesting and new flavors, and that they have really seasonal offerings (like for example honeysuckle cream puffs in the middle of summer). So cute, welcoming and absolutely delicious! We were in New Hope for the weekend and this was on our "must stop" list from the moment we saw it. We looked them up and saw that they had cinnamon buns on Sunday mornings, so we walked over soon after they opened and got a couple of those and some other treats for later. Wow! Having Factory Girl-level sweet stuff just across the river in New Hope is one of the top 10 perks of living in Lambertville. She does vegan, soy-free, gluten-free, and ALL of it is great, just as good as the "regular" stuff. It's all off the charts scratch-made, seasonal (and I'm not even a sweets person) delicious. NYC good. That's why I was so happy she was able to make a magical little wedding cake for our teeny COVID wedding --rose rosè cake. More importantly, we got so many compliments on how good it tasted-- guests were walking around stealing unsupervised slices! She worked really well with our florist (Lauren from Flora, also highly recommended) so the cake seamlessly fit the rest of the aesthetic and the process was easy breezy. I had been very excited to try this bakery since we moved from San Francisco last summer - love the style of the cakes and the branding - but was ultimately disappointed with two very dry birthday cakes. We ordered two 6" cakes (one chocolate stout and one confetti vanilla) to celebrate two family birthdays and, though the cakes looked amazing and the flavors and frostings were very good, both cakes were almost inedibly dry and the vanilla cake was hard at the edges. We had to serve loads of ice cream just to add some moisture! Disappointing birthday cakes, for sure. My husband called the bakery the next day to let them know and when the owner returned his call, he was surprised by her response to hearing the complaint. She essentially told him that the cakes were not dry (!) and that he just "does not understand the kind of cake they make". Uh, I think we do - DRY! The cakes alone would not have prevented me from trying the bakery's other offerings, but the terrible customer service will definitely keep me from going back. read more

I went here the other day based off a friend's recommendation and it was DELICIOUS! This is a cute little bakery in New Hope with a nice little seating area! I went here because of the poptarts - which were DELICIOUS! I got raspberry but they also had pumpkin. I also tried their gluten free double chocolate chip cookie with coconut which was really great. A nice cocoa flavor and a great texture. My favorite was the salted caramel brownie. The brownie was pretty dense but moist and the caramel was perfection. Everything you could want of a caramel. The lady that waited on us as super nice and packaged everything nicely. They do accept cards but their is a minimum (which you would definitely surpass). They didn't have a ton of options but what they had looked delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more goodies!
