The place was completely empty. There was a dude that kind of welcomed me in by just staring at me and not getting up or saying anything. I ask if they're available for a cut, and he just calls over to another guy. I say, "Hey, I don't need a fade or anything, but are you comfortable doing a trim for long hair?" He says he can, but it really felt like a 'fake-it-till-you-make-it' type situation where he was going to say yes no matter what I asked. The guy who just glared at me when I walked in stayed seated on a bench, across from where I was getting cut, directly in my line of vision, and this dude was pulling the collar of his shirt down and POPPING PIMPLES ON HIS CHEST for my entire haircut. It was so vile, I couldn't believe this was a person in his place of work. He also had his phone balanced on his knee that he would occasionally swipe on as he played Instagram or TikTok videos at full volume. It was the most annoying environment. The barber sprayed my hair with a water bottle and combed it for a very long time, then he trimmed away for just a few minutes, and voila, he was done. Barely trimmed at all, certainly not enough to clean it up and get all the split ends. I looked down at the floor to see how much hair he'd taken off, and I kid you not, I could have individually counted the hairs. There were like twelve. But honestly I was so disgusted being in there that I didn't complain so I could just leave. Then he tells me it's cash or Zelle only. I don't quite have enough cash, so I ask for Venmo, which he doesn't have. They don't have a front counter or cash register or anything to pay with card, which I felt like he should have mentioned at the start. He's like, "We have an ATM." I use the ATM, of course it has a service fee that goes to the owner. I paid and left, and honestly that was going to be the end of it... ...until today. I never leave reviews, even for bad experiences, but I just checked my bank account and saw that their ATM charged me a second ADDITIONAL withdraw fee. So now they get my honest review. I would not recommend this place to anyone; ambiance is terrible, place is dirty, employees don't seem to care much. I've never felt ripped off by a haircut before. read more

That should've been the first red flag. But NO, then enters Alex -- the so-called manager -- who acts like he's running a five-star establishment when the place looks like a crime scene. This man has the NASTIEST attitude known to mankind. If you hate cutting hair this much, just say that. Don't take it out on customers like we ruined your day by walking in. And then we have Gary, the OWNER... You heard that right: the OWNER who genuinely does not give a single F about how his shop looks. The cleanliness? NONEXISTENT. The professionalism? EXTINCT. The appearance? Baby... this place looks like it hasn't seen a mop, towel, or basic human effort since 1997. Speaking of towels -- HOW DOES A BARBERSHOP NOT HAVE TOWELS? What are y'all doing?? Air-drying people with your bad attitudes??? There are SO many better shops out there. Ones that don't have roach families paying rent, managers with ego issues, or owners who act like hygiene is optional. Save yourself. Save your money. Save your hairline. The barber I went to was Jamall or something ( if you walk in he's in the room to the right all the way to the wall closest to the tv) this fool would spit every 20 seconds in the trash and he cut my head so many times because he was putting to much pressure on the clippers. I could of got something better at sports cuts. It's the worst when you have long hair and someone females it up and now you have to wait two months to grow it out. I went home and buzzed my head.
