Took my teenage son in for a haircut he showed the barber there a picture of what he wanted, gentlemen started working on my son's hair and when he said he was done I paid him when we got to the car. My son told me he was unhappy and showed me the picture of what he had asked for which was nothing like what he received because he had very long hair in the picture showed a boy with shorter styled hair. After some debate, we went back in and I asked him to fix my son's hair. He told me that it would be a very long wait because he had multiple appointments already scheduled one of the other gentleman that worked there spoke up and said that once he finished with haircut, he was doing he could fix my son's hair When we went to leave, I took the other gentleman assuming that since we had already paid for the haircut we wouldn't be charged for another one since it was a fix, and it was the same day however, the second gentleman told me that he needed to be paid for his work, even though he was aware that we had just left, walked back in because my son was unsatisfied with a haircut read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my son to get a haircut from the same barber as last time and he told the barber to cut the top but keep it at his eyebrows. This man completely demolished my sons hair to the point he doesn't even want to go to school because it's that awful and worst of all we have end of school year events coming up that he doesn't want to go to because of the awful job he did. The fact that the barber would think the cut was ok is the scary part. This is your name and face as a walking billboard sign and everyone is going to run the other direction if this is the standard of cuts your giving!! This is the worst barbershop ever if they should even call themselves that. My husband just got his haircut hair, told them exactly what he wanted and they completed messed it up. We walked in not knowing what to expect. My three year old autistic son needed his first pro haircut( mom was doing a decent job before), and Fade Masters V had just opened up down the street. So we took a chance not knowing what to expect. The barber was in one word, Awesome! He listened to our needs, was very professional, and got the job done. I have a son with disabilities, he is an adult but mental capacity is like a child. Still he can manage things on his own. I sent him today 02/23/17 to get a hair cut and for the first time he after many times going there he said they treated him very rude. Guy who did his hair cut complained because my son have just a debit card to pay. Still my son give him a tip. I don't know if is a new management but.....I think I will not send him there again. Very disappointed. To this point I gave them just one star, now this change, for good. I would like to add to this review today 08/27/18. I was contacted by the administration of Fade Master and they apologize for what happened. After this happened my kids went back to get hair cuts and the new guy in the first chair is really nice and make you feel confortable. He is always joking and make us feel welcome. I have not seen that guy again there. We appreciate the service and change our review because we recognize a job well done. read more

This is the second time I book an appointment at this location and when I get to the shop, I'm turned away because they were either overbooked or just won't see me bc the barber decided to leave early (despite knowing he had booked appointments) and didn't give me a courtesy heads up. I consider this extremely poor customer service, I drive one hour 10 minutes round trip to come to this shop and to be turned away without a care, rhyme or reason? Sat waiting for an hour and a half before I finally got fed up and walked out since walk-ins are neglected. I tried to give these people another opportunity after experiencing the same situation before and was asked to come back as my "experience" wS not the norm. BS worse situation this time as I waited longer then last time but was still treated the same. If you want to waste 3-4 hours while they take care of all their buddies,regulars,etc then go here that's if they will even bother taking you. I had to leave after who I guess was the manager came in at 5pm and people who just walked in who apparently were regulars got put into seats while others just sat. I guess walk-ins don't care unless you know someone there as the other walk-in who came in an hour after me got pushed up before me. Why bother putting a name down? Take the sign off the door that says Walk-ins Welcommed when we know that is not the case. I saw a guy get shaves after his haircut 3 times because apparently the Barber was waiting for a regular to come in and I guess us sittimg there weren't good enough at the time. Ironically I only went in to get my beard trimmed and shaped. Waste of Time/Never Again I was approached in a Walmart by an employee or owner of this establishment because of the type of cut I usually get which is a simple high tight fade/semi-military cut/look. I advised I uses to go to this chain and similar but always had issues and never went back. I like he fact you can get a shave and cut and I was told this one was different. ..well it was not. First when you walk in there was no greeting or acknowledgement. No advice to sign in or anything. People walked in with and after and apparently knew the barbers so they were taken ASAP. Meanwhile I sat for over an hour while this happened. So it's apparent that if you don't know someone there or friends of friends you have to wait. So when I finally got fed up and got up to leave one of the barbers go do you have an appointment with someone...I was like no...so he goes well your the next walk in and I was like I'm the only one left now after everyone else was taken and done. So I left after wasting over an hour and went to my usual place in Tampa. Where you walk in get greater and treated like a valued customer. One other issue I noticed, like most of these "establishments" cash is king. If you play on paying by card from what I observed only maybe less then half the barbers can accept. They all prefer cash. If your desperate to use the ATM there get ready to pay outrageous fees there and at most likely another fee from your bank. So unless your a friend of a friend or plan on wasting your Saturday afternoon, seek another establishment. I'm forced to actually have to put a rating because it won't let me post without one or I wish a negative rating but I felt this needed to be said since I know many have experienced the same in these establishments. read more

Just sat in the shop for 3-4 hours being told "yea you're next", "I got you." And then they tell me wait we got this guy and the next guy and then the next guy then it might be you. Pathetic how you guys treat walk-ins...You have a deal for Monday-Tuesdays where if you're a walk-in you get a $15 haircut yet NOBODY CAN BE SEATED. That is so pathetic, I have been going for 3 years and normally it was all good, but the past few times I've gone, I couldn't be seated. Best Barbershop in town! I am very finicky person when it come to my hair and haircuts. I been coming here for about 9months now and I never leave disappointed. This is a great place to bring your young ones as well. They are very conscientious of who is in the shop and don't allow foul language when women or children are their. Fade masters V is the only barbershop I will ever go to again! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and upbeat. The building is clean and well cared for as is the equipment. I have seen Ito twice now to buzz the sides of my Mohawk and it is the best haircut ever! As a girl, I was very nervous and particular when it came to trying a new hairstylist. However he made me feel comfortable and even sketched out my design before shaving it into my side. His precision is fantastic and the lotus is the sickest design I have ever had.
