As she took a flat iron to my bangs and made them bone straight amidst my mess of a mane. $200 and my hair felt + looked like straw walking out of there but I had to run to catch a flight.

I showed the owner a picture of what I wanted the curls and the hairstyle to look like. I always thought it was our responsibility to tell the hairstylist instead of let them improvise. I waited almost an hour. I had to tell them the rollers were too hot. I had to tell them the timer went off. Unsurprisingly, my hair was fried. At the end, I was told to go with the wet hair so that the curls would stay. It doesn't look remotely like the picture I showed. I understand the hair in the picture was styled with a lot of products, but my curls looked like I did it myself. I am never going again. I need to remember that.
