I was super nervous to cut my hair, I had been growing it out for a while and wasn't sure if a long bob would good on my face shape. Brylie made me feel comfortable, she is super sweet. Hair cut and styling was $50, I normally go the cheaper route but I'm glad I went the more expensive route for this dramatic hair change. She gave me some tips for curling my hair. I was recommended to come here by my sister in law and I know a couple of other people who have gone to her and all have had good things to say. I received the following reply to a text message where I asked for a callback to set up an appointment. (I did not want to walk in without an appt.) "So sorry I am not accepting new clients". I don't have a problem with the owner being full of clients, my issue is related to the lack of clear messaging on Yelp, FB and her website that she is not accepting new customers. I hate to leave a bad review, but I chose this places based on reviews & feel inclined to lane one. My hair was pretty much destroyed. I was looking for natural bayalage. I. specifically said i didn't want it streaky. My hair is now orange over dark brown/black which simply is not flattering for anyone. I also asked for a haircut. I said it needed shape & texturizing. I had not cut my hair in close to a year and she literally cut off one inch. It is the virtually the same length. My existing layers were not even trimmed up, & there was no face framing. My swoopy bangs are The same length I came in with. The texturizing resulted in random strands several inches shorter than the rest of my hair & just doesn't look fluid with the relative thickness of my hair. In retrospect, I have never had my hair cut so quickly. Were talking 5 to 10 minutes max & I have extremely thick, long hair. I was iffy about the color when I was still there as it was way lighter & brassy than I was expecting. But i decided to wait & see. After washing it, it is even worse. I am mortified considering I have a vacation next week & look like an oompa loompa. I will now have to scramble & spend more $ to get something that looks presentable. Nice girl but I think she was slightly out of tune with what I asked for. read more

Briley did a great job with my haircut and color. I just moved to town and hadn't had my hair done in about 2mos. Also, back home I'd started adding highlights to my red overall coloring hoping to achieve that strawberry blonde so that my root growth wouldn't be quite so obvious and because I prefer it. However it was becoming more and more blonde and less strawberry. I'm happy to report that Briley asked and then listened to what I was trying to achieve, what I liked and didn't like, how I normally wore my hair(straight, wavy, curly). I appreciated how attentive she was and the results were perfect! Subtle highlights and the return of strawberry!! My cut is softly multilayered which created a nice bounce and soft movement that wasn't there before. Also, with wavy, curly hair, my bangs are often cut too short.
