The young clerk at the business figured the body of the guitar needed a realignment, new strings, and some other TLC. I got an estimate which seemed fair so I left it in the care of this shop and waited for a call or email. After a few weeks of not hearing back, I shot the shop an email and the owner was nice enough to not only be expedient in their response, but to assure me that the guitar was ready to pick up. They did such an incredible job bringing it back to life that I bought a guitar strap and some other accessories to go along with it. The prices here are actually REALLY reasonable and I would argue comparable if not *better* than bigger retailers like Guitar Center. Really solid selection of product to choose from considering the size of the shop and, like I said, they are very hands on which was refreshing. I'll be sure to come back in the future as I'm ready to get back into building out my home studio again.

My husband had played for years and since this was our first home purchase, I really wanted to make that happen. Tom, a Vietnam Vet and hero, reached out to me, heard my story and desire, and made it his goal to help us get a beautiful piano delivered. Our budget was ridiculously tight, and Tom made it happen. I researched everywhere, from estate sales, other online marketplace forums, about 15 different piano stores (some local, some not). After all of the research I had done (not knowing much about pianos beforehand), I learned that unless you REALLY know your stuff, you needed to go through a reputable company. If a piano wasn't tuned for the duration of its life, it could look pretty, but it wouldn't be very functional. I almost made a deal with another company that I would have regretted... and then Tom called and from that moment, I had an absolute peace about working with him. He was not a "salesman," but a true gentleman. Tom went the extra mile by a lot!!! There was one piano we thought would work, and it was even bigger than my original plan. After Tom looked at the pictures of my home (and staircase), we decided to wait for another piano to become available. There was a little bit of time that went by where I didn't think we were going to find it, and then... the call came. Tom found the most beautiful Yamaha, ebony, baby grand that plays incredibly! My husband was completely surprised and has loved at (1) having a baby grand piano delivered in his home without him there, (2) that I stayed within my designated "muahahaha" budget, and (3) that we found such an incredible person to work with. The piano delivery service was also excellent! Such care, such professionalism, and physical strength too. It's been four and one-half months and my home has been filled with music ever since. Once we decided on a piano, Steve was able to make the magic happen so we could bring it home! This included trading in our baby grand. The one negative review I see here - the writer strikes me as an impossible to please and/or passive/aggressive kind of person - my gut tells me he's crafted an intentionally exaggerated one-sided story because he was unhappy when he found out that his piano was not worth as much as he was hoping. Phil is in fact very polite, professional and upfront, so something doesn't add up in this story. When you come here and actually meet with Nancy and Phil, you'll understand.
