Tim Clark is our realtor and he is so professional and hard working. He took the time to explain…read morethe legal details, and he was always responsive. He reached out to the horse community and we had an offer within two weeks. We had our house listed with another North Pole real estate group over the winter and we didn't even have one showing. What a different experience with Tim Clark and Hedgecock Group! I would highly recommend Tim.

I cannot say enough good things about Brett Evens and Hedgecock Real Estate. Brett made our deal…read morebreakers a priority without compromising on quality during our house hunt. He was very flexible working with our busy schedule and always communicative, employing email, text, and phone calls when necessary. A straight-shooter, Brett was honest about homes on the market with known issues and he was not eager just to get us into any house. His patience and guidance helped us land a fabulous home- one that surpassed what we expected to find! Brett's recommendations for other services (engineering inspector, loan officers, etc.) were excellent and not just some friend looking to benefit from a sure thing. We never once felt pressured to consider anything. Brett's practical approach and guidance during the buying process was much appreciated. If you've had lackluster home buying experiences in the past (like I have) I wholeheartedly recommend you contact Brett to assist you with your next purchase. You will be impressed.

Once you sign the lease customer service is gone. I pay for fuel to JWL in the house I lease and it…read moreran out in thanksgiving. My property manager stated there wasn't any thing she could do. It was about -15 below. The Property Manager asked me to use my slip tank (fuel tank) and truck to get 100 gallon of heating fuel which I did. I was reimbursed only after calling after a month or so passed. Never did anyone even say thank you. Upon move in it stated front door needed to be adjusted to close correctly. The Maintence person came and adjusted the door so it closed so no gaps would let cold air in. After opening and closing the door a couple times to door jammed shut. After several weeks the maintenance person repaired the door again and the next day the screws backed out due to the crack in the seam of the door and the door jammed shut again. Once again for over a month I the front door wouldn't open. Very little to no communication from the JWL team. When the same Maintence staff returned he put in longer screws and adjusted the door so again daylight can be seen through the front door as seen in the pic I posted. After he left I opened the door and the latch would stick after turning the door knob. I texted the Maintence person (no response) and turned in a work order for repair. After weeks passed JWL stated that they had a video of the door working after their Maintence staff left and if I wanted the door repaired I would need to pay for it myself. As of this date the JWL will not respond to follow up emails nor state if it is their position that the door will be repaired or not. Then a week or so I received this: This email serves as your 24 hr notice that there will be an inspection of your unit tomorrow March 22nd around 10am-12pm. My response: Hi, Since I am out of town, and there has been some concern about the lack of repairs, and in some ways, blaming me as a tenant for the need of repairs, I am asking that the inspection be rescheduled until I return home sometime Friday afternoon. It must also be noted that a maintenance person visited the home 2 to 3 times as well as a representative of the owner and there were no immediate concerns then or now. Response: We schedule spring inspections for all of the properties we manage you are not being singled out sir. We normally do not allow tenants to dictate the schedule since we manage many properties. Since you're out of town and would now like to be present I am willing to reschedule with you. When do you plan on being back in town? Please read the email I received for a parakeet I got for my daughter. 250 pet fine and 150 for not notifying JWL. The lease talked about dogs and cats, but never mentions a notification requirement if you get a bird or a goldfish. Fines are arbitrary and can be up to $500.00 per violation even if they are not specified. The letter also stated that they saw cigarette butts out front which I was picking up as the ice melted. I was told I had essentially 48 hours to have them cleaned up or they were gonna dispatch a staff person and I would be billed for their time. A representative of JWL stated that I could deadbolt the door because the latch is not working when they did the inspection. Their customer service in approach is costing the homeowner money and I'm living in a home where no repairs have been made since the initial visit and random fines imposed due to a spring inspection when I've only been here six months. Nothing about interactions with the JWL team us respectful or like they're even remotely concerned about the fact that I had a front door that would not open after their initial repair for one month and then an additional month after that.
