    Barbecued Beef Brisket Bowl

Now that they've updated the MDE, you can customize the bowl which is perfect for me because I get mine without the onions and in the past we'd have to wait and order at the window. It's still a solid lunch or snack for us. The beef is pretty good, but I love the mashed potatoes and the jalapeños. I wish they'd serve a side with it, but overall we keep going back. It's quick and you can usually grab a spot to eat at Rosie's next door.

We found this place on TikTok because we wanted something that was good, but also something that wasn't going to be heavy and that was worth the money. We ended up getting the buffalo chicken bowl. And when I say it taste so good it hit the spot. It was perfect. The service was quick. They provide outside seating. All the tables were cleaned. They have some seating in shaded areas and some seating in sunny areas. Just depends on your preference. Inside of the waffle cone was mashed potatoes at the bottom and buffalo chicken tenders on top and on top of the buffalo chicken tenders was coleslaw.

Different! But like .. I liked it! Savory waffle bowls? Sign me up! After doing my Disney food research, I was intrigued by this place. My group and I tried all three waffle bowls - Buffalo Chicken Bowl, Korean BBQ Pork Bell Bowl, and Barbecued Beef Brisket Bowl. That is also the ranking of how much we liked the bowl, from tastiest to least tasty. All three bowls were good, just depends on your flavor preferences. Across the board, we were all surprised at how much we enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Bowl. Out of all the bowls, this one was the most cohesive. If you had a bite of everything (chicken, mashed potatoes, sauce, and coleslaw), it all just came together. I'm not positive but I think there was a blue cheese-y kind of sauce on it (and I usually don't enjoy blue cheese), but it really just worked here. All of us were surprised at how much we liked the sauce and overall bowl! That one is a winner! The other two were just a-okay. Also, our group enjoyed the waffle itself. The waffle had a slightly sweet flavor and it was super addicting to snack on once we had finished most of the filling. Overall, not bad. I'd only get the Buffalo Chicken Bowl again! The other two I would pass on.

I came here because it was the closest thing to the Tower of Terror for breakfast and it was pretty good. They only had the Mickey waffles as an option but they were pretty good. They come with three waffles, three pieces of bacon and two syrup cups. They are pretty standard waffles but I have definitely had worse. The folks at the window were very nice too and kept the line moving at a great pace. I was waiting for my food even with people waiting for several orders for maybe 4-5 minutes so they did a great job. As a quick breakfast option I would come here again!

Picked up food at Fairfax Fare for the first time on my most recent visit to Walt Disney World (WDW). The menu may initially be odd for some people since they seem to prepare savory food bowls served in a waffle bowl. Honestly, this type of combination is right up my alley, and I loved my meal! The food was a good serving size, decent price (for Disney), and tasted good. Definitely, a great option if you're looking for something hearty and different that extends beyond typical theme park food. Fairfax Fare is a quick service kiosk located in Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS). Guests can place orders through the MyDisneyExperience app mobile order system or wait in a standby line to order in a more traditional way. Fairfaxe Fare is situated on Sunset Blvd. in a cluster of other quick service kiosks right across from the Beauty and the Beast theater. There are plenty of tables and chairs shared among all of the other quick service spots for patrons to enjoy a meal on site. The bowls are very easy to walk around with if you're looking for something on the go. All of the bowls sounded really tasty, but I ended up trying the Korean Barbecued Pork Belly Bowl. There was a good amount of tender pork belly smothered in a delicious sauce and sitting on top of mashed potatoes. Perhaps rice may have been a better side choice, but it seemed like all of the bowls, with the exception of the macaroni one, are served with mashed potatoes. At any rate, the combination of the bowl worked out. I loved finishing the meal with the waffle bowl. I would definitely order again without any hesitation! Fairfax Fare is going to be a new quick service option for me when visiting DHS. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other bowls in the future! NOTE: You must have park access/entry to Disney's Hollywood Studios to eat at Fairfax Fare.

Opted for the Korean barbecue pork belly bowl, served on a bed of mashed potatoes. Digging into the pork belly was pure joy--tender, savory, with a hint of sweetness, though a tad salty. The crispy waffle bowl on the outside added a nice crunch.

5th day in the parks, and I've learned that there's not that many good places to eat in Disney world, be it magic Kingdom, epcot or Hollywood studios. But this place breaks that trend. It's located close to the tower of horror, with all the other food court items are. But it's pretty good. They have multiple types of waffle bowls to order from. And I decided to go with their Korean pork belly. And was it good!!! The pork belly was soft and tender and rich. Sauce was really good!! Borderling too sweet. Good amount of mash potatoes as the carb. I don't get why a waffle bowl? A rice bowl would've been cool. It just added sweetness that didn't really need to be there. Also got their Tampa Bay reef donkey apa. Maybe it was the heat, maybe because I was probably dehydrated. Or because I'm a lightweight, but it hit me like a semi truck. Had to go sit down and watch the beauty and the beast show to catch my bearings!! It was light and refreshing. But overall it was quite good. And being less than 15 bucks for a meal, I think it was quite worth it, since they do give you a good amount of pork belly.

Truffle Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog
    Art C.

This is where the big dogs live I'm sure this will be my favorite eating place at Hollywood Studios. I love hot dogs and I loved what I had at Fairfax Fare couple of days ago. I love Mac & Cheese too, combining them in their Truffle Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog was genius. Oh yeah love bacon too. Notice a pattern? The quarter pound dog sat atop the mac & cheese, making this handheld a handful, and tasted great. The interaction to order the food was easy, the food ready in just a minute or two. There was no line for my visit, attendance at Hollywood Studio down for my weekday visit. In reading other reviews, it's obvious the menu has shrunk, I assume due to Covid. For now, this is just a hot dog stand.

They have a complete different menu now than most of the stuff you see online. So make sure you check out their current menu before going. Now Fairfax Fare specializes in mashed potato based bowls. My husband had the brisket bowl, I had the Buffalo chicken bowl and we shared the vegan soba noodles bowl. We also had the special 50 year anniversary blonde which probably won't be offered for much longer. I thought the Buffalo chicken bowl was a little bit too spicy so I added some ranch sauce. The Soba Noodles bowl wasn't bad but I don't think it would be fulfilling if that's all you're eating. The dessert was tasty but I crashed on sugar afterward even though I only ate a few bites. Too sweet!

    50th snack. Blondie.
    Chelsea R.

Came here for that delicious blondie! I love blondies so so much as it's hard to find a good one but this was probably the most delicious perfect cookie in my life. It was soft on the inside and just slightly crunchy on the edges. It was loaded with coconut that you could TASTE. So good. They are HUGE. I'm glad I didn't get two. My husband and I split this with some coffee and it was epic. I will be sad to see this go after the 50th.

    Rachel G.

I'm glad they changed the menu recently. As a Disney go-er, I always passed by this place with no interest in American food. So now that they've revamped it, I had to try it! They now serve these meat/mashed potato bowls which I was very hyped about through Instagram. It ranges from pulled pork, buffalo chicken, Korean BBQ, and cold soba. We ordered both the Korean BBQ and it was served with a spicy slaw and mashed potatoes in a waffle bowl. Not sure why it came in a waffle bowl because it did not go well together, but everything inside the bowl married. It was so delicious and worth the wait in line. We paired it with a 3 Daughters and Big Wave. It was the best snack I've tasted in MGM/Hollywood Studios (besides the Cream Cheese pretzels)! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. It's the perfect portion and you get a great view of the Hollywood Tower of Terror.

When is busy come here and avoid the lines and waits for a quick bite. Decent food for a quick lunch and then back to the rides. Located by Hollywood Tower, not bad at all. The pretzel dog is good.

Let me tell you!! We got off Tower of Terror and was going to Fantasmic. We just wanted a quick bite. I looked and was thinking this was going to be terrible. Cute bowl but come on, this don't mix. Fairfax!! You surprised me!!! It was good!!! Customer service was super sweet. It didn't take long at all. Now that cone with the mashed potatoes was different but not bad.

Old Key West Resort Restaurant -- Florida Vibes, Flavorless Food…read more This place really looks like Florida. The resort is called Old Key West, and you feel it the moment you walk in. Gorgeous setting. Now if only the food matched the atmosphere. --The Prime Rib-- The slow-cooked prime rib was flavorless and arrived lukewarm. The au jus wasn't much help either. Think beef broth with no seasoning and you're basically there. This looked, felt, and tasted dead. Not what you expect from a prime rib centerpiece. --The Chicken-- The Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken was OK--/emphasis on OK. But like the prime rib, the seasoning was an afterthought. Pass the salt and pepper if you want any flavor out of either dish. --The Dessert-- I took the server's recommendation and went with the Pineapple Mango Upside-Down Cake. Why did I listen? The presentation is beautiful. The taste did not keep up. Lesson learned. --The Drinks-- The Turtle Krawl was the bright spot of the meal. Think rum punch on a warm afternoon and you've got the right idea. It's a great treat...just don't expect it to rescue the food. --The Verdict-- Olivia's Cafe has the setting and the atmosphere locked in. The kitchen has some catching up to do. If you visit, plant yourself at the bar, order the Turtle Krawl, and temper your expectations before the entrée arrives.

Located in the main building of Disney's Old Key West Resort. As one might expect, it's very nautical themed. 2. We arrived before 9:00am, and thankfully the restaurant wasn't very crowded and we were seated immediately. Thanks to the lovely cast member that sat us in a both at the end. However, there were noticeably more people dining when we left. 3. We dined at Olivia's Cafe in November 2025 (yes, this review is a bit late), as we were guests of Old Key West. Our server introduced herself and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. In the end, I chose the sombrero omelet, while my partner chose the Buttermilk Chicken with an add-on Mickey waffle. Our very own coffee carafe completed our meal. We liked the food honestly. There's no better way to express it. The portions were decent, and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Also, I thought the option of the adding the Mickey waffle was just magical. SERVICE Our server, Cara, provided outstanding customer service. We appreciated her patience, knowledge and expertise regarding the menu, as well as checking on us periodically throughout the meal. Well done, Cara! side NOTE Cara did explain to us that their breakfast potatoes were on the cheesier side of the dairy spectrum, and that it was not to the liking of some former customers/diners. And to be honest, the potatoes are mixed/tossed in cheese, but it wasn't like they were drenched IMHO. BOTTOM LINE A wonderful breakfast at Olivia's Cafe. Its a great breakfast option for guests at Old Key West. Recommended.

The brisket was the standout for me, followed closely by the pulled pork. The chicken and sausage held their own too. Honestly nothing on the board disappointed. The beer selection also surprised me in the best way -- not your typical theme park watered-down options. One heads up for first-timers: order before you find a table. We made the mistake of doing it the other way around and were pretty firmly told we couldn't sit until we had ordered. LetterPress is the Hilton Buena Vista's marquee restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a family friendly setting with nice touches. We made a reservation well in advance just in case but the place seems large enough where walking in shouldn't be much of an issue. After sitting down we got right back up as we opted for the breakfast buffet, which at $30 is an absolute steal. Let's get into what we got: We started off with carbs: pancakes and waffles. Both of which were okay with there being. A decent wait on the waffle machine. Unless you're craving either we would say it's not the best bet to stack up on. For meat they have a lot of options from bacon to pork sausage to chicken sausage. The bacon was alright and the pork sausage was the standard small ones you find just about everywhere; the chicken sausage though was delicious, a nice sweet flavor to it and large. They also have eggs and breakfast potatoes alongside the meat, the eggs being meh and the potatoes being pretty good. The better egg option is the omelette bar which is fantastic. There are probably about 20 different ingredients you can toss into them and it is well worth the wait. Oatmeal is another carb offered and that's self-serve so you can make it how you like. Many different pastries are also available so you can get a fix on your sweet tooth (all were pretty good). Last, for drinks we got chocolate milk, coffee, and juices from their self-serve juice machine. For that we got mango and apple juices. Again, for the price of $30 this is just an unbelievable deal, especially for families looking to get growing kids fed in as quick and convenient a place as possible. The added convenience of it being close to the pool and just downstairs adds another layer to it. While we can only testify to their breakfast buffet this does also look like a great option to take up on their actual menu.
