    Bubbling Pink Lagoon

Pink lagoon (with and without alcohol) is a win on a hot day! The chicken salad is my go to. It is the perfect size, is light but filling. Great meal mid park day. As always, the cast members are delightful!

Update!!! After consuming flame tree barbeque, my friend and I felt rather ill afterwards. We're taking get-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-and-vomit kind of ill. I'd still here eat here though but be warned!

I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors of the chicken from Flame Tree Barbecue! I normally only ever get chicken fingers and fries when inside Disney Parks, but my friend introduced me to this BBQ spot located inside Animal Kingdom. The cast members are always very sweet and I appreciated that they gave me a complimentary cup of ice for my Owala water bottle since it was such a hot day. The cornbread wasn't too dry, and it had chunks of corn in it. They also gave us two muffins instead of one! The rice was a little bland and could use more flavor, but the chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. This was the perfect meal to fuel us for the rest of the day. There was a lot of dining seating options near this BBQ spot, and we scored a table with an umbrella to shade us from the hot sun. This will definitely be my go-to lunch spot whenever I visit Animal Kingdom again. For the price, the chicken is soooo worth it.

Pulled pork, chicken, ribs, slaw, and beans

During a hot day at Animal Kingdom, I had to try the BBQ joint located inside. Flame Tree surpassed my expectations but that was due to the strength of two items: pulled pork and beans. The pulled pork was tender, juicy, and seasoned well. It was outstanding and was surprised at how good it was! The beans were also outstanding as they were full of smoky flavor and made on site. I would rank the chicken the next best item as it had lots of seasonings and a crispness to it that I enjoyed. I received white meat instead of dark meat so it was a little dry for me. The ribs weren't bad but they were overcooked. The slaw did had a good vinegar taste to it but I prefer a more diced slaw than Shredded. Two things that disappointed me were the BBQ sauce and the sweet tea situation everywhere in Disney World. The BBQ sauce was pre-packaged Ken's. The sauce was actually good. I just want a more homemade sauce. The only sweet tea available is the abomination known as Gold Peak from the tap. Come on Disney! Add some fresh-brewed sweet tea to the menu! I would also recommend the mac and cheese. It is at Flame Tree but I went around the corner to the Smiling Crocodile to get some gooey mac and cheese that made want to not see them in a while but asap. Surprisingly good and do yourself a favor with the pulled pork, beans, and mac and cheese.

Came here one day while we were hosting from friends from out of town. We brought their little girl all around Animal Kingdom so she could be excited at all the cute and cool animals there. We had a great time. And when it was time for lunch, we weighed our options and decided to come to good ol' Flame Tree. Standard ambiance. It's a counter service restaurant with many many chairs and tables. There are so many, I'm sure you'll never not be able to find a seat. And the service at that counter is fine. Some super friendly, some mildly grumpy people. Typical Disney mixture. As for the food itself, I got the St. Louis Rib Dinner (St. Louis Ribs served with Beans and Coleslaw). I upgraded my side from beans to rice and beans. Ribs were good. Not too tough, and there was plenty of BBQ sauce for some helpful slathering anyway. Rice and beans were good. More flavorful than I was expecting. Target audience, I reckon. And the slaw was sad and pathetic. If you like slaw, skip this slaw so you're not insulted. I also got to try the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork (Baked Macaroni & Cheese topped with Smoked Pulled Pork, Crispy Onions, and Coleslaw). Really a sad amount of food, but what was there was nice. Cheesy mac, moist pork in every bite, and those onions added a wonderful texture. Really nice, but don't order this if you are actually hungry. Overall, Disney counter service is all mediocre, we all know that. But this place was actually pretty delicious, and if you order the right thing, it's surprisingly filling. One of the better ones I've been to. I will probably be back.

Love this place. They give cast member discounts and the food is amazing. Such good proportions for such a great price. I loved the Mac n cheese. Great seating options as well.

Pros: It's pretty centrally located in the middle of the park. Other than deep in Harambe, it's an easy walk from anywhere in the park. Even through the lines get pretty long, there were enough workers to get us through pretty fast. Food was better than typical Disney fare. I was pleasantly surprised. Cons: Portion sizes were pretty sad. Be careful of what you order if you're super hungry. Tips: Get the rib dinner. It was the best things we ordered. Very good.

Love the mobile order option for Flame Tree Barbecue. I was able to order my food while waiting to exit the safari and it was ready soon after arriving to Flame Tree. I was able to watch a live performance across the way from the restaurant which made the time pass quickly. We did not eat in the seating area near the restaurant, but found a place to sit nearby. I love that you can select your own sides for the meals! The pulled pork platter kids sides were applesauce and graham crackers. The St. Louis rib meal sides were a Cuties Orange and rice and beans. I failed to snap a picture before the little started tearing into the ribs. We also ordered the French fries with pulled pork and cheese. Yum! All of the food was delicious and it allowed us to take the break we needed to rest and refuel for the next part of our Disney journey.

Always wanted to try Flame Tree but my kid doesn't like BBQ (!!!) so I decided to try it on a solo trip. I can definitely say this is dang good BBQ. I'm not a pulled pork fan but theirs was super moist and tender. Ribs were meaty and delicious. Chicken was fantastic. And the baked beans and slaw were a great side. Overall, this is waaaaay too much food and you could easily split it. And it's waaaaay too much food to eat on a hot Florida afternoon! I felt like a stuffed pig afterwards. Kudos to Disney for serving up actually good BBQ just be warned you may want a nap afterwards!

Tried the Mac n cheese with pulled pork, didn't like much, for me was missing some season on pulled pork, Mac and cheese was good. , the fries were a bit soggy. Although last time I tried ribs and they were good.

Been to DAK hundreds of times but had never eaten here so we decided to try it out. We ordered on the app and the food was ready fairly quickly. There is soooo much seating beyond anything I could've expected as looks were clearly deceiving lol. Having said that, it was easy to find a spot after walking around to the back. I ordered the smokehouse pulled chicken salad and it was phenomenal. It was the perfect salad to eat at the park when all you've eaten is junk food all day. The cornbread croutons were the perfect touch. The prices were reasonable given typical theme park pricing. Highly recommend.

A Disney duck outside the restaurant

I got the Impossible Burnt Ends, and it was great. I feel like it's hard to find theme park food that can surprise you; this certainly did! There are plenty of tables outside to eat.

    Pulled pork Mac & cheese
    Luis C.

This is a great spot to grab lunch at Animal Kingdom! I had the pulled pork with mac and cheese, and it was fantastic. The pork was tender, the mac and cheese was perfectly cheesy, and at $13, it's a pretty good deal for Disney. The staff, as always, were incredibly kind. Just keep in mind that there's no dedicated seating, so you'll need to find a table in the nearby dining area.

This place is always packed, and for good reason as the food is legit, the cocktail list is solid, and they somehow keep the line moving even when it's slammed so props for that. We went with the Butcher Board, which is listed as serving 2 but easily fed our entire family of four including my wife and our kiddos which makes it a great value for what you get. The brisket was the standout for me, followed closely by the pulled pork. The chicken and sausage held their own too. Honestly nothing on the board disappointed. The beer selection also surprised me in the best way -- not your typical theme park watered-down options. One heads up for first-timers: order before you find a table. We made the mistake of doing it the other way around and were pretty firmly told we couldn't sit until we had ordered. I get it as it's how they manage flow but if you don't know the rule going in, it feels a little abrupt when you're just trying to wrangle your family in a crowded dining room. I've come here for my birthday. I already have plans for a visit when my family gets here in two weeks. Obviously, the food is phenomenal. I've also had the Smothered Chicken, Bee Haven Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Skilled-fried Chicken Paillard, which is what most of the staff recommends as their favorite dish. And you always have to get a cheddar drop biscuit. That's a non-negotiable. This restaurant is very popular and often gets quite busy, so I recommend to make a reservation as soon as you're ready. Happy 4th of July!…read more For this 4th of July review/post, I thought what better tribute to celebrate America's 250th than with a review of the Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Pavilion at EPCOT. NOTES 1. Our visit to WDW and EPCOT was in November 2025. During this trip to WDW, my partner and I made it a point to try different places and foods that we didn't experience on a previous trip. 2. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. We chose indoors because it was a bit hot on the days we visited (thought the mornings were very cool). Our 1st visit was unplanned. We were walking by and decided to do a mobile order since we wanted a snack. We chose the Beef Brisket Sandwich with fries. So good! Definitely shareable if you're not too hungry. I thought the indoor seating was very, very spacious, and we didn't have any difficulty finding a place to sit . The sandwich also came with a generous portion of fries. We returned 2 days later since we liked the food so much. We shared the BBQ platter which came with pork ribs, smoked pork butt, and smoked sausage; also served with corn bread and a choice of a side (french fries, of course!). The platter was more than enough food for us both, and we enjoyed the ribs the most. Honourable mention goes to the sausage and fries, as well as the bbq sauce. There are 4 dispensers in the rear of the restaurant. We just opted for the classic bbq sauce. BOTTOM LINE Great meal options at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Pavilion at EPCOT.

I ordered the Texas beef brisket sandwich, which was tasty and had plenty of flavor. The only thing I would do differently next time is ask for the sauce on the side. It was a little heavier than I prefer, and I think having more control over the amount would make the sandwich even better. Overall, the food is solid, the portions are generous, and it's a great option when you need a break from the crowds. Definitely worth a visit if you're spending the day in Epcot.

The meal starts off with cheddar biscuits with a sweet Jalapeño jam - great start! Then they bring you watermelon and a tomato-cucumber-onion salad which I didn't care for. I wish they would have given a little more time before the main event came out because it came quick. The main event is huge plate with ribs, brisket, chicken, sausage, beans, elote corn, potato tots, Mac and cheese, and slaw. It looked good off of Tik toks I saw but it tasted better than what I thought. The ribs and brisket were my favorite. You really need like 4 people to eat this meal. At the end you get 5 desserts to sample. During your meal, a character from Toy Story will interrupt and say Andy is Coming so everyone freezes. There are 3 sauces - sweet, classic, and spicy. The classic and spicy are both vinegar base. It went all right with ribs but would go better with pulled pork if they served it. The sweet was thicker and went better with all the meats over the classic and spicy. The experience, quantity, and quality of food was worth $50.

First time here and the food was delicious. You DO NOT GET TOGO BOXES. I heard three tables ask for…read morethem last night. Chris from NY was our server and he was great. He was on top of of party of 9. The food was great for it being Disney food. The bbq was tender, hot, juicy and just an overall great bbq flavor. Would come back. You can ride to your table on a horse if you want haha
