We took on Alamere falls and it was a lot of fun. On the way back our car broke down and we stopped in the lovely town of Bolinas. Our first move was to try to find a mechanic. The locals pointed us to someone named Sean. We went to a bar to try to find him only for someone there to tell us he was in Richmond. I love that all the locals there knew this one mechanic. Eventually we called AAA to get the car towed and they came within an hour which was impressive Next on the agenda was to call an Uber to get us out of here. After roughly twelve attempts to call an Uber we found one. Our plan is to first Uber to Mill Valley and then try to catch something to S.F. While waiting we got some food here. The food was quite good. The fish tacos are very flavorful with excellent salsa. They had a robust menu of vegan options a the vegan chicken bowl is really good and ethically sourced to boot! If you are ever in Bolinas I highly recommend this restaurant!

Unsure about that but there were sprinkles of that. I had to pay for the guacamole. Okay, typical. Then onto the the protein. Typically, taco salads come with this but not at this place. They charge $5 extra for that and it wasnt very much. The "asada" was the tiny cubed type. You know the type you see in grocery stores? It tasted like meat that had been left in the fridge for a few days and reheated. So, if you like lettuce in a taco shell that has a few sprinkles of other things, then this $25 "taco" salad is for you. My 14 yr old is a better cook. We also ordered a bean a cheese burrito. He did say that was a kids burrito, so I said okay. I didn't know it was $12. The waffle fries were good. Someone we brought with us ordered those and shared. She said her other food item was dreadful. The other person said his food was not worth the $20ish he spent on his burrito either. We were hungry and didn't plan accordingly. Next time, we will. This place is your typical overpriced horrible food tourist trap place. Just come with food if you plan on visiting the beach. I feel bad for the people who actually live in this town and this is one of the veey limited options they have for eating out. Over the years, I haven't had one decent food place ranging from Stinson beach up to bodega bay. I'd gladly pay the prices if any of the food was actually good. This is about the food and not about the service. That's the 1 star because at least the staff was nice.

The good: easy to make reservations and arrangements were clear. The Inn is convenient and clean. It is charming and has some very lovely touches that you would never get in a hotel. Parking is easy and reasonable ($10 per day). The beds are comfortable and supportive--a key element as my friend has had extensive back surgery. And, breakfast is included and served on the lovely patio. When my cousins came to visit, I had them stay at the Inn. They raved about the breakfast! My friends raved about the great lighting in the bathroom. What to expect: there is no elevator and you have to carry your bags up a staircase that can be challenging if you have much large or heavy luggage. The floors are not completely even in all rooms. Some are just a little bit off and are carpeted. It's easy to trip over the change in floor level, as there is no marking. Nice surprise: there is a cut in the wall to show the original knob and tube wiring. It's got a plexiglass cover. But the preservation of history and education is a lovely idea.

The server told us they operate out of a food truck. So the menu is limited. But what they make is really good! We ordered the lemonade, chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros divorciados, and the strawberry champagne sherbet. Service was very prompt! The actual menu in-person had a couple items that aren't on the sample menu including a couple more dessert options like fig ice cream. We really liked everything we tried! The portions were pretty good. If coming here for food I'd recommend getting here early since food trucks have limited capacity. You're welcome to stroll around the property both the flower farm and the inn side before or after your meal. The parking situation is a gravel lot. So it may not be the most handicap accessible place. We had a lot of fun stopping by Park Winters. They were setting up for a wedding so the inn side would have been closed for the event starting at 1pm. The check also came with a small map of the property for you to keep. This was very helpful in exploring the property. The only caveat is this is the countryside. Wear long pants or be prepared with insect repellent! Even at 10am in the summer my legs were bitten by mosquitoes. (Type O blood. Mosquito magnet here.) I'd like if they burned some citronella candles to help with mosquitoes. The rest of the dining venue was so thoughtfully designed including timed misters (like at theme parks) to help keep the area cool. Definitely check it out if you're curious or in the area.

But don't worry, we took care of her tip. Have a good day." Umm, excuse me? I was a server for over 7 years. First of all, I wouldn't expect a tip after the establishment that failed me by not ensuring they had adequate kitchen supplies to keep a Mother's Day up and running. Additionally, I would have added more staff to the day, which would of course be very busy. And lastly, how are we tipped when you comped the bill and walked away, and nobody had cash? We did not ask for the bill to be comped. So for future reference, dear John I don't recommend calling your customers and bullying them over voicemail. You're the problem, not us.

The day of my complaint is 14 of 19 for some reason they wouldn't accept another form of payment (my husbands credit card) after I reported the initial card of file for fraudulent activity on day 13. Within 24 hours my door was locked and I was not notified. I had left in the morning to Marin country Mart for a bagel and coffee and when I returned, I could not get into the room which was extremely dangerous considering I need to take medication at the same time every day. The front desk staff reported there was nothing they could do and wouldn't accept another payment method, they suggested cash. They publicly humiliated me at the front desk. Being one of the very FEW minorities staying here I felt very targeted. I felt that I would not have been treated the same if i looked different. The staff did not bother to assist/ help me navigate this.. no plan b or c? Just no? I had to stay out all day from 9am -5 pm. After all of that they said "oh well we can give you a prior authorization form".... Unbelievable! I will never stay here again. Also, the entire first floor smelled like marijuana most of my stay and the bathrooms barely flush. The water pressure is terrible in the shower and there is black mold in the bathroom. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

It included pancakes, breakfast sausage, eggs, breads and pastries, cereal, fruit, and a few other items. When I checked in I was assigned a room that unfortunately smelled like cigarette, I immediately went down to the desk and they were able to switch me into another room that didn't. The hallways were a little loud and I could hear everytime a door opened and closed, luckily it wasn't too busy of a night, but I did still notice it.
