Yusuf Celik was horrible, gave me the wrong address via phone, 2nd visit he knew nothing about the product they advertised which I was interested in, and called about. Was not sure which side of product was top, which was bottom, nor who made the product he was selling. 100% waste of my time BOTH visits, time that I can never get back. A special shout out to Tina and her great design idea. We were redoing a kitchen island after some water damage and we did not like the granite in the rest of the kitchen. After showing her the pictures she recommended some quartz pieces we'd never considered. Her advice helped us design a beautiful modern kitchen. We weren't able to purchase the counter through them since we needed a smaller size and they didn't have a remnant available, but we would definitely go their first in the future if we ever need to again. Cut the granite for the old stove that was sitting in the foyer to go out, right in my kitchen. they had no instructions with them and couldn't communicate. The whole house was full of dust and when I took pictures and met with the manager, he insulted me and said " how do I know you don't live like this". Would never recommend them. So I give them top marks on installation. They did an excellent job getting our bathroom counter done and put in. The problem was that marble is soft and porous, and less than a week later I have some slight stains and etching. I stopped in to ask how I could rectify this, and was told that they couldn't recommend any particular products, and that I should "Google it." After spending over 3k with them I was hoping for just a little more, but now I know. So on the front end, good to go. For advice on anything after, it is definitely between you and Google. read more

I had such a great experience here yesterday morning. I came in with a bizarre request- I needed a small piece of marble to use as a background for some food photography, and figured this place would be my best shot. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and was taken to their warehouse to see the massive selection they had. I ended up snagging a beautiful piece of Carrara marble, for an incredible deal! They have a really nice selection of countertops and are helpful to get you to pick one out and place a deposit. However, after that it has all gone downhill. They told me they could work with my timeline then can't get out to measure in the window they originally said, then can't give me an installation date until I put down more money, then don't follow-up in the window they said they would. It's been a week since they finally came out to measure and I don't have a functional kitchen, my contractor can't finish my job, and I have no timeline for instillation. I don't know how anyone can do business like this. read more

We purchased a piece of remnant granite for a wine room and our experience was great. Fairfax Marble has a nice selection of stones to choose from. They are the fabricator as well so you work with them from start to finish. Everything was delivered as promised within the timeframe specified. The most impressive item in my opinion is the seam. Due to the length needed we have one seam and I had to ask where it was. It is so thin and perfectly aligned I have to run my finger over the seam to locate it. Mehmet is fantastic. He helped us pick out a countertop that did not take us over our budget. He knows his stone & he taped it out were the cuts would be, so we could look at prior them cutting it. That helped see how the granite was going to look in our kitchen & allowed us to pick what part of the granite we wanted. The measurement went great, Ben was the guy who took the measurement with a cool device. They send my contractor the drawing and with in a week we got the countertop installed. I am going to insist we use them for our bathroom. Truth be told I wanted to go with a company who had a sale and my contractor insist on Fairfax Marble & Granite, their cost was not the lowest but you get what you pay for; their customer service is beyond words. read more

Okay I'm a general contractor and I have been in business for 33 years. I have done maybe a 1000 kitchens in that time. Most of the companies I have worked with in the past have gone out of business. So when I saw the reviews for this company I didn't hesitate to send my client to them. And can't say enough on how well they handled the whole process. The best part for me is I have a company right down the street that I can send my clients to. Goyo the head installer's attention to detail was amazing. If you want really expensive granite, then this is definitely the place to go! I was quoted $49/sf for blue sapphire and peacock green. That is nearly $15-$10 more than everywhere else I've been too. Not too impressed with the salespeople either. They seemed like they didn't really care for my business. Went to va marble and granite in chantilly and had amazing piece of granite at a great price with great sales staff as well a a free undermount sink! read more

I do not recommend you use this company! I took pictures of my existing vanity and asked the salesman if they could replace the granite top and sink. Upon installation I noticed the cabinet doors had many cracks that weren't there before. When I pointed this out to the installer he denied any responsibility, even after I showed him the pictures I had taken the week before. When I called Fairfax Granite and Marble they refused to do anything about this. I had to hire a separate contractor to repair the doors at a cost of $430. I asked Fairfax Granite and Marble for a partial refund and they refused saying it wasn't their responsibility. Will never use them again. read more

Excellent customer service. I went here after going to perhaps 5 other granite dealers and they really stood out among the rest. Enes was absolutely terrific and he was the most helpful person! He made the whole process so much more pleasant and easy. His recommendations were truly on point and I just cannot say enough good things about him. The selection at Fairfax Granite & Marble is impressive and much nicer than the other places I visited. After such a wonderful experience, I purchased a beautiful River White slab here and while it was pricey they were super reliable and did a beautiful installation! My husband and I had the WORST customer service experience we have had in years. The only thing they responded to or were timely about have been collecting payment. When we FINALLY got an instillation date the night before someone from the company called and yelled at me on the phone about a bad Yelp review, that I had to take a review down. He told me that they were SUPPOSED to come the next day but I had to take it down. ??? When I asked for clarification, that if I didn't find this Yelp review and take it down they wouldn't install my countertop he wouldn't confirm or deny it and told me I had to talk to my sales person. Called my sales person immediately after and for the first time he picked up and said they would come. When the did come the installation was fine but we saw a crack. When I brought it to their attention they brushed it off saying it was a natural fissure and showing videos of other slaps that didn't have the same crack but didn't come out to look at it. Another week later they finally respond and say we can come out to the warehouse to look how the other slabs are the same. We had other people in the field say it was a crack and it isn't repairable. Even IF it was naturally occurring, it should of been pointed out before being placed into the finished product with the option of choosing another slab. We gave multiple opportunities and options for resolution but it's been impossible. Over a month of calling and emailing multiple times they finally came out and said that this is part of the stone is supposed to be there..... even though it didn't match any of the nature veining in any of the other slabs. Told me since I singed the paperwork and they don't identify it as a crack they won't replace it unless it goes all the way across to the other side. A few months later we are already seeing discoloration. So disappointing and really they were one of the most expensive estimates we got in the area. read more

They have state of the art capabilities to measure but they seem to lack quality control, or accountability. Their installers inappropriately modified onsite without consulting the supervisor who did the measurements. Unfortunately, they did not have enough to material to remake our peninsula from the Cambria Quartz slabs we purchased. We sent two certified letters in August 2019 documenting how the dimensions had been altered unacceptably and requested them to remake with new slabs or offer a significant discount for us to accept subpar workmanship. They ignored both letters. Last week we received a certified letter showing they placed a with a lien on our house filed in November 2019 and this week Fairfax Marble and Granite sent us a bill that predates the installation in July. We hope they will communicate and work with us to resolve this issue. read more

I'm sitting here at 5:30 pm waiting for the plumber. The installers showed up after 2pm for an 11-1 pm appt. A courtesy call letting me know they'd be late would have been great. It's not that difficult. The installers did a good job. They let at 4pm, and told me the plumber would be here in an hour. I called the office at 5:15 pm to be told the plumber wouldn't be here for another hour. I told them they should consider adding more staff if they are so busy the can't get here until after 6 pm. The granite is very nice, but the installation process has been unacceptable. read more

We did not have a good experience with Fairfax Marble and Granite, also known on Yelp as Fairfax Marble and Granite Countertops. We started working with a rep at their Chantilly location until they decided to close this location and directed us to the Sterling location. In late November 2021, we selected a new granite countertop and signed a 1-sided contract that required 50% non-refundable deposit and cancellation fees without 72-hour advance notification for measurements and installs. At time of contract signing, sales rep stated that a single seam would be required in the granite stone selected. We scheduled a date for measurement and adjusted our schedule to be present for this date. No Fairfax Marble rep showed up to conduct the measurement, never contacted us about cancelling the scheduled measurement date, or telephoned to even apologize about not meeting the scheduled appointment. We telephoned the store, and the rep stated that she knew nothing of our scheduled appointment. Three days later, Fairfax Marble contacted us to re-schedule the measurement date since Fairfax Marble missed the scheduled appointment. We asked about the $200 no-show fee as stated in signed contract per perceived reciprocal agreement, but they laughed at us for requested $200 no-show fee. The rep conducted the measurements on a new scheduled date (Saturday) and stated that we would get the final drawing for approval on the following Monday. However, it was another 10 days before we received the diagram for final approval. The diagram showed a single seam when we delivered the final signed diagram to Fairfax Marble; however, the rep stated that there would be an additional seam and added it to the diagram. Fairfax Marble contract would not allow us to walk away from the arrangement without losing over $2,000 from our initial deposit. There is significant color variance in the location of the second seam. In addition, we identified a crack in the stone at the cut-out for the stove top that weakens the stone strength. Fairfax Marble was not responsive to our email concerning this problem. We question the business integrity and would not recommend this company. read more

Cannot express the wonderful customer service Fairfax Marble and Granite provides. I with my contractor had come back multiple times to select granite. My indecision has created the staff at this location to move slabs upon slabs for me to view. Mehmet, The manager, is so accommodating helpful and very patient. His knowledge of stone and his honesty of color and contrast help me make my final decision after months of agony of selecting the final granite color for my kitchen. I would highly recommend Fairfax Marble and Granite if you're going for great customer service, a great granite selection; mind you they are not the lowest in price and they are not the highest, their prices are reasonable and there are never hidden fees. you get what you pay for. Went to the Chantilly warehouse. Ogun was super patient and helpful showing me the different colors of granite. Prices seemed a little higher at this place then some other places but they carry exotic pieces/colors of granite, so we decided to use them for our kitchen counter tops, since they were one of the very very few places in the area that even carried the Lemurian Blue granite. It was nice they let us tape off the part of the slab we wanted, but I mean they are charging you to cut from the whole slab anyway, so... in the end... I was happy with my granite and the service they provided but if I were to chose a more common piece of granite next time, there are definitely cheaper places to go. read more

We had been shopping around for a new granite countertop for several months and found Fairfax Marble and Granite via a friend. From the time we walked into the showroom until the final installation, we had excellent service from beginning to end. The granite countertop we chose was the largest possible size for one piece. Fairfax Marble and Granite did a stellar job of removing our old countertop (which was poured concrete with criss-crossed rebar reinforcements). We didn't know there was rebar under the countertop, and Fairfax Marble and Granite stayed all day and late into the evening to finish the job in one day, as promised. They also gave us a new stainless steel sink for free, and guaranteed their work. We are extremely happy with our new granite countertop and sink. read more

I went to Fairfax Marble a few months ago because a friend recommended the place. I was very happy with the service and quality! I went to the Chantilly showroom and the guy showed me all the granites in their large warehouse and it was great to see them full size rather than on a small chip. I wanted something inexpensive and he had several choices. I had trouble making up my mind but the guy was patient and I finally chose a nice black granite. They came to measure my kitchen counters a few days later and then they were able to install the countertop and new sink within about 2 weeks of my order. They took great care to make sure the corner where 2 pieces of granite joined was smooth and even, which I appreciated. The plumber came with them to install the sink and he was able to re-attach my garbage disposal so I didn't have to buy a new one. He recommended a new valve under the sink but I decided not to spend the extra $35 (mistake). The next day there was a leak because of my old valve, so I emailed Fairfax Marble and they sent the plumber back in a day, and he replaced the valve for $35 with no extra service fee. The guy from Fairfax Marble even emailed me after the installation to make sure I was happy with everything and not many companies do that any more. From talking to my friends, I'd say the prices here are the same as what you'd pay at any other place. Not cut-rate, but it seems like a fair price for nice quality, big selection, and great service. read more

I worked with Enes to purchase new counters for my kitchen. I found the slab I liked last August with the intent to start the reno in September... fast-forward to January due to some other delays, but Enes stuck with me the entire time. Ben came out to measure the kitchen once the new cabinets were installed, and 2 weeks later, I have a stunning new kitchen. I hit snags with the new sink, and Enes made great recommendations to negotiate them. I am beside myself how beautifully the kitchen turned out. I would send my closest friends here without hesitation and recommend their work with utmost confidence they deliver this kind of service across the board. My wife and I live in Falls Church City. We shopped for a small granite kitchen countertop by telephone and at a few other stores. We met Fazli, the owner of this store (located in Chantilly and Merrifield) and immediately knew this was the place to buy our countertop. He is low pressure, very friendly and extremely helpfu. We were looking for a remnant stone and he recommend a great stone (blue graphite) located at his other store for an installed price lower than anywhere else around. He offered to have the stone brought to the Merrifield store for us, but we decided it would be easier for us just to go to Chantilly to see it. Gorgeous!! After getting help from Lauren, who is really nice, we bought it on the spot. Easiest part of our kitchen remodel. My wife and I love Fairfax Marble and Granite and recommend their stones, reasonable prices ($42.95 to $65.00 per square foot installed), and friendly/low pressure sales team. My wife and I visited several marble and granite dealers Fairfax and selected Fairfax Marble and Granite to provide and install granite for our kitchen tops. From our first visit with Mehmet, the manager at the Chantilly location, and all of the way through the process we were impressed. Mehmet is a very low pressure salesperson and he is very knowledeable about his products. His experience really helped us with our decisions. When we made changes that had been built into the overall costs he had no problem with making sure that the costs were deducted from the contract and giving us a fresh copy of the contract to make sure that there were no misunderstandings. When we thought of doing some things that didn't make sense to Mehmet he explained the best way to do it with sound rationale. I was impressed by the way they measured our kitchen. When the installers came the marble fitted exactly into the places where the measurements were made. The installers were professional and knew what they were doing. Some of my cabinets were a bit off plum and they took the extra time to make sure everything was level and even screwed some parts together that had come loose. We had our bathroom remodeled recently by another dealerand it was not much fun. The contractor had more than one ball in the air and never seemed to be fully focused on the tasks. We were a bit reluctant to remodel our kitchen but after our initial meeting with Mehmet was felt that we were in good hands. The costs were very good, in fact they were better than the other dealers that we visited. We did negotiate and managed to bring the price down to a very reasonable amount. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience. We are extremely happy with the product, workmanship, installation and the overall experience. read more

I honestly am surprised by the ratings on here. I was looking for a marble slab to replace my old red brick colored tile in front of my fireplace. I wanted this to be a DIY project so I was really just shopping around for a slab and not the installation services. Not knowing much about marble at all, I went around the places on Dorr Ave in Merrifield. Out of the 6 places I visited, Fairfax Marble & Granite was only one of two places that could help me. After talking to the guys at the Fairfax location, I was directed to the Chantilly location where they fabricate the remnant pieces. I drove there right after and Tina was able to help me pick out the piece I was looking for. I did not need an appointment and was helped right away. She was able to give me good information and generated a quote right away. The purchasing process was easy and my piece was fabricated within a few days. I'm happy with the result and may update this post with a photo once I'm done with my project! read more

We were searching for the right color granite for our countertops. We went almost 6-7 different granite places in the area. No one had the color we are looking for. Then we went to Fairfax Marble & Granite . As soon as we enter the slab showroom we saw the difference... they have tons of different colors of granite in their stock, specially exotic colors.Some of the colors are we never see at the other places. Then we choose "Golden Roma". The staff was great, they move several slabs for us.They were very patient , the sales person was great ,wasn't pushy. The prices also good. The measurement guy Ben was great, very helpful, answered all our questions. After the final measurement they called us back to do the lay-out on the stone, we layed-out the pieces on the two slabs with our sales rep. This was the fun part. Installers were very professional. Water damage in tens of thousands of dollars caused by negligent counter top installation, which is apparently uninsured. Two workers installed new granite kitchen counter tops on Dec. 14, 2015, but left water dripping slowly in my heated townhouse. I was away, but when I returned on Jan.5, 2016, I discovered water damage to cabinets, flooring, walls, and ceiling. No manager or insurer returned my email notice. read more

From start to finish, our contact with Fairfax Granite and Marble was first rate. My husband and I wanted to update our kitchen countertops, and we were assisted by Tina Sandridge (Chantilly). She was so helpful with suggestions, and answering our questions, which were many! Within a few days, measurements were done, and about a week later, the quartz (Cambria) was ready for installation. The installers were pure professionals! It was fascinating to watch them work. Meanwhile, my husband and I decided to update our old cooktop, which caused a bit of a problem since the island countertop cutout was bigger than the new cooktop we bought. After discussing this with a tech from the appliance store, it was suggested to us to have two thin strips epoxied on either side of the cutout. Mehmet, at Fairfax G&M assured me this could be done, and within a few days, 2 techs came out to place those thing strips. Our new induction cooktop now fits perfectly, and the countertops/backsplashes look beautiful! Overall, a stellar experience, with knowledgable employees.
