Meh it was just alright.... My husband gifted me a gift card for Mothers Day and I wasted no time in booking my massage. I was able to make an appointment online which was convenient. I specifically went in to get a pre-natal massage as my lower back was killing me during my second trimester. They set up two pillows, one to support my legs and the other for my head except they were both awkwardly placed under the sheets so I really couldn't get comfortable during my massage, specially my arms. The massage was just ok - I wish she dug a little deeper on my lower back but also I take a blame as well for not telling her to really go to town. She also left the room a handful of times to greet customers as they were coming and leaving which I thought was rude. read more

I have been coming here for around six months now. I try to go once every two weeks, and haven't ever had a bad experience. They know exactly how to relieve pain! They are all so kind, and accommodating. I moved a couple months ago from within five minutes of the business to thirty minutes away. I will continue to drive to see them every two weeks, as they are top notch! The place is always clean, relaxing, and the right temperature for me. NOPE !! Not going back. I took my 76 year old grandmother here for a reflexology massage, because she suffers from arthritis, carpel tunnel syndrome, poor blood circulation, and more. I especially chose Gunston's Massage after comparing the prices and reviews to other places, and after reading the glowing reviews for Gunston, I thought this could be a place that could really give my grandmother some pain relief for her feet and legs. Unfortunately, $170.00 later (+tip & credit card service fee), my grandma immediately told me this was the worst massage she ever experienced !! The room was COLD and did not have heat, the session did not include any techniques that targeted pain points/pressure points, the masseuse who serviced my grandma was rough and didn't apply any tender touch/specialization, and my grandmother also had to tell the masseuse 3 times (practically raising her voice) to be more gentle! It broke my heart to see my grandmother in MORE PAIN after her massage, instead of less pain. Especially when so much money was spent, and we were really looking for a return in our investment. I can definitely say the employees were nice, but the service? For how much was paid? Never again read more

I enjoyed the massage but was disappointed in the professionalism. This shop gets real disrespectful if they feel you didn't tip them enough. The behavior has happened twice to me and I won't be returning. I just wish they would just raise their prices. Also, be careful about purchasing gift massage gift certificates. You think you are taking care of your loved one, but you will find that the ending will go bad. The company is getting extra money from your gift certificate and still will press you. In the therapist words...you don't have cash app. There are plenty of massage businesses nearby...happy to spend my money elsewhere. It is a shame because this is the closest business to me. Came here for the first time and will be coming back. I got a deep tissue massage + cupping + aromatherapy. I felt so great after and thought my massage therapist knew and massaged away the areas I felt so much tension. The place was also clean and had some relaxing music playing that added to the great experience. I had a couples massaged booked for 5pm today with my husband. I booked a pregnancy massage for myself and deep tissue for him. I have been looking forward to this massage all day as I'm 9 months pregnant and incredibly tense. My husband said his massage was great and was very pleased with his. However my massage was quite literally the worst massage I have ever had. Bad enough I asked to get up half way through to use the restroom to try and talk to the manager at the front desk but got pulled back into the room. My masseuse did not use any pressure though I asked for medium when she started and asked her to increase pressure during the massage as well. She ran her hands across my body over top of the sheets the entire massage. I got up more stiff than when I laid down because she didn't have me change position the entire massage but the remaining 30 after I got up to use the bathroom. Both women who massaged my husband and I both followed us up to the front while we paid which made it really uncomfortable to tell the receptionist how upset I was with my massage. The website also states that a pregnancy massage is $110 for an hour and my masseuse informed me at the start of my massage that it would be an extra $10 since I was pregnant. To top it all off the woman doing my massage burped in my face 4 times. I'm absolutely beyond disappointed and upset that we just paid $250 for that type of service. read more

Joy was my massage therapist and did a fabulous deep tissue massage. Great after a few hours of physical activity. When I first stopped in the day before, I asked if the therapists were licensed - they are, and licenses are displayed at front desk. Staff are friendly, polite, professional.
