I went for a couples massage and my masseuse (Nikki) answered 6 calls, walked out mid massage 2 times to talk to the other customers. So disrespectful - we are paying to have a RELAXING & QUIET massage. She wanted to give me extra time but at that point I am NOT relaxed and I am upset so why would I want to continue?? She kept answering and trying to get customers at the time we were already getting our massage. Why not just say you're busy and give the customers other times? PHONE CALLS DURING THE MASSAGE :-( who does that? Nikki did. 3 calls and convo during my hour long massage. Prior to massage, I pointed out my sensitive area (light pressure please). I flinched, moved and said "thats too much pressure!!! That happened 3 times. The she was texting with 1 hand, barely touching me with the other hand until she finished texting (during my massage). The it was time for the "Hot Stones". She just went in and I let out a verbal yell. That is entirely too hot. She stopped for 2 min, and went back in with the flaming hot stones. I jumped up to leave because there was no way I was going to relax at this point. She begged me to finish (5 more min), I told her, I will pay for the hour, but I"m out. No way to turn this around. I explained all of my dislikes about the massage. I paid (full amount willingly) and she looked at me and said, "what no tip"? I responded by giving her a tip, "listen to your customers and stay off the phone". The prices are good but unfortunately, You get what you pay for! *A man was speeding into the lot and running into the shop as i was arriving.* I went here to get relief for major muscle pain along my shoulders and neck as well as my feet were sore and could use reflexology. This parlor is open 7 days a week until 9PM. I was able to be seen within 30 minutes. The service started immediately upon my arrival. A male customer exited a room talking about him being there because he thought there wouldn't be people (creep factor) and how good the other masseuse was..when he mentioned returning next month, Nikki acted shocked and said they were open 7 days a week and he could be back next week. He said he knew and it would still be once a month. Nikki is very pleasant, but pushy in sales. The foot detox was nice. As I am trying to adjust to the hot water detox foot bath and am wincing through my neck and shoulder pain, she brings a jewelry display to show me full of bracelets and earrings. If I look at one, she pulls it out and says a price and acts like you are buying it. If you are allergic to costume jewelry, she calls it white gold to completey disregard the concerns of wearing fake jewelry. I finally got a bracelet for $20. Then she pushed socks, bras, underwear and travel pillows. All of the Chinese crap you find in markets and my mom would be forced to stuff in her suitcase to bring back from Taiwan to us kids. After the soak, was the massage which was intense and reminded me of rolfing massage techniques. It's close to the sensation of your skin being shredded as muscles are flattened. The knots were there, but it was like she waited for me to request less pressure, but was surprised that I didn't. I am half asian, so I have a sort of high tolerance for pain. As she said, " no pain, no gain." The massage was good, just lacked traditional european massage flow.It's like being worked like bread dough. I am now tenderized. Lots of in calls and commercials in the soundtrack during the session ( I'm about multitasking, so I get it, but a shop that makes decent money, is coordinating 2 shops and is customer oriented should have a receptionist.) At check out- Once I had just enough cash to cover the massage and bracelet with $10 left, she asked what about her tip. She was okay with the last $10 I could give. She insisted that I needed to be there 3 days a week ( $60 × 3= $180) Then mentioned her travel pillows. I'm not into being pressured into buying merchandise that I didn't come there for. I regret calling for help after being shaken for every piece of cash bill in my wallet. She watches what you have in your wallet like a hawk This place is like being in the motherland, no frills (my home looks more feng shui with Asian decor), just straight up deep tissue work up. read more

I called for a very last minute same-day massage on a holiday, in the afternoon, and Nikki herself made it happen. She is an absolute gem, incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. She is very strong- don't let her stature fool you, her baseline is very deep tissue. But be open if the pressure is too much, she will adjust to what you prefer. According to her, it's traditional Chinese massage to start out with very deep pressure, so that's what she will do unless you say something. This is not a spa, so don't expect complete privacy or a lot of luxury- Nikki had to step out multiple times to deal with employees/clients, and would often leave the door open a little (which did concern me as I was naked). But that's the price you pay for her extended hours and ability to accept walk-ins. If you're in pain or just need the relaxing benefits of a great massage, I recommend putting the more luxurious elements to the side and visit Nikki. Her expertise and ability is outstanding and speaks for itself. It's well worth the compromise and I plan on going as often as I can. read more

She advised to me what I needed and scheduled an appointment. When I walked out of there, I felt like a new person. Nikki was very attentive to my needs and frequently asked if pressure level was ok. She worked on all the tense areas and worked the knots out. My first time getting cupping in my back and explained every step and advised once a month. Okay, the review got me on this one. This isn't your "typical" massage spa. They don't focus on the aroma and putting flowers everywhere. It's all about making sure you feel great after. All the massage techs are great here and they really focus on making sure to get all your knots out. They even offer to cup and can pinpoint your exact pain points. For the price, you are paying the convenience of this place is completely worth it. My husband goes here weekly and it's been about 5 weeks since we started. They run their business great and the hot stones are phenomenal! Honestly, I hate writing reviews for places I LOVE because I don't want it to get busy and take up our time. For a first time massage, this was a great experience! Room was not only clean, but dimly lit and relaxing. I was brought in and asked what I wanted. I told her an hour long massage and she was trying to ask me where specifically. Her English was limited, but we were able to communicate just fine. I pointed out to her my back. She stepped behind me and rubbed my back muscles before exclaiming that I had very tight knots. After agreeing, I got undressed as she instructed before she left the room. A different woman came in a few minutes later to start on my massage. It was wonderful. She literally massaged every part of my body. Even my face! The hot stones she used were also wonderful. I almost fell asleep a few times because of how relaxing it was. Not gonna lie, it was a bit painful in the beginning, but I'm assuming that was because of all the knots in my back. I really do hate leaving bad reviews but there was a lot wrong with this spa. I have had many professional massages in the past and this was nothing i have been to before. I chose to try this spa because it had phenomenal reviews on yelp, so I thought I would give it a shot because why not??? When I first walked up to the building the door was ajar rather than fully closed. The guy there was friendly but he just showed me to a room. Didn't introduce himself, didn't ask me for my name (i made an appointment a week ago) and I think he asked me if i was here for a couples massage (his English was not the best). I was there by myself so, no. It was a little strange to me that they didn't know who I was or what I was there to get. The room was very basic and had no good smells, but It did have some nice music. When the masseuse entered the room, I could barely understand her English (which isn't her fault but I just thought I would say it here). Still no introduction so I have no idea who she was. I was able to communicate that I wanted an hour massage. Not once did she ask me what areas I wanted her to focus on or if there were any concerns before the massage. When she began the massage, it started without oil. She rubbed my face (which wasn't too bad) but then started rubbing my throat. Again, this was without oil so when her hands pulled my skin up, it really hurt. But if you're into that, cool. I had a little redness on my throat after the massage. When she told me to switch to my back, I was expecting a normal back massage. I tend to like more pressure on my back but this lady had fingers of steal! I had to ask multiple times to lighten the pressure because it hurt more than normal when she would dig into my shoulder blades. She also decided that it was a good idea to rub directly on my neck and back vertebrae instead the muscle. My spine still hurts between my shoulder blades from where she pressed into it. You should never have pain near your bones with a massage. At least, not with how I like to get them. The oil they used also had no essential oil smells. It was almost like it was baby oil or something. I don't know but with most professionally licensed massage therapists, you will have essential oils mixed with the carrier oil for the aroma therapy portion. That was not the case here. They also were not prepared for a massage! My masseuse left the room twice to get things. And with me being practically naked under the sheets, it made me feel a uncomfortable knowing the door was open and a man was in the next room. I will say, a perk to this experience was the hot stones. Those did feel nice on my painful back bones that she rubbed. All in all, if you are into that kind of thing, go for it. You do you. However, I was just extremely disappointed that this was not a professionally licensed spa where, I'm assuming, the workers did not go to school give proper massages. My hour massage was $60. Which, they didn't actually tell me that was the price. I had to look at my receipt to see how much I paid. You get what you pay for. read more

They do not disappoint. After my first visit I was completely satisfied but I did not make the effort to discuss areas of need and things that have recently been bothering me. My specialist provided a better than expected message and I left feeling restored and relaxed. During my second visit I took the time to explain all my aches and pains and little issues. The manager helped explain these concerns to my therapist and she went to work. All my concerns were addressed and I feel great. The price was appropriate and it is one of the better deals in town. At the end of the appointment, I tipped 20% and she insisted that my tip wasn't good enough. She was extremely ungrateful for what I had put down and wanted upwards of a 40% tip. I went here for a massage because my neck hurt, and instead leaving with a bruise on my head. Honestly, my whole body feels bruised and battered. I have had many massages in my lifetime, and typically they will ask me before about the pressure,etc. but they did none of that here. I had to stop her twice because it was too much pain. The bruise on the back of my head it swollen and painful, I have never experienced anything like this before after a massage. I still have the pain in my neck, it just feels less prominent because everything else hurts. I gave it two stars because at least it was inexpensive. I can see why some people in here have had some negative feedback, but I think it's a gem. There is a language barrier, yes, so be very clear with what style and pressure you want before you enter the massage room or dim the lights. This may be easiest at reception. Be polite of course. As for my experience, I called to make an appointment for the same day. He asked me if I preferred a male or female masseur/masseuse and I chose female. He offered a time slot about 2 hours away. Perfect! I arrived exactly on time. He showed me right into a massage room and let me know It would be about 10 minutes. It was about 20, but I was quite placated- being all snuggly on a heated massage table with quiet piano music playing. My masseuse, Lisa, came in and got to business. Ask for oil if you want it, some don't prefer it. Point out any particular areas needing more attention. I do desk work, so my neck and shoulder blades need serious TLC. Her regular massage style seems to be deep tissue/sports massage, which is perfect for my needs. She is strong and very effective. Is it rough? Hell yeah, at times it is. That style of massage gets in and breaks up the connective tissues which are holding your body in improper form, and increases circulation to the muscle tissue and surrounding tissues. At about 40 minutes into the 60, she brings out the hot stones which is really nice. I was MUSH walking out of there- totally tenderized! But I was walking straight and tall, not favoring that old leg injury or anything. Kudos to Lisa! If you are looking for a gentle, relaxation only type of massage, be very clear and honest with them when you make your appointment. Perhaps when I go again (and I definitely will), I will opt for the gentle relaxation only type and report back on it. Be kind y'all:) read more

Excellent! I've tried a lot of massage places around the area and this one has been the best. Cindy was the massage therapist that attended to me. She was very professional and not to mention great at her job. I went in knowing that an hour deep tissue massage was going to be $60, so that's what I requested. Not only did I get that, but she also gave me a hot stone treatment, some therapeutic stretching, and she walked on my back (something I'd never had before but will definitely get again). After it was all said and done, she rang me up and to my surprise it was $60. I will definitely be back again...to be truly honest, I might have found my go-to massage place. read more
