Spring 2026: Staff seemed more relaxed. Let me explain.... I was given a room and the room key wouldn't work. Went back to the front desk and they corrected the key, so it would work. Returned to my room to find out it was occupied by someone else. Returned to the front desk for corrections. The front desk staff was extremely apologetic and took accountability. This was a major error and a safety issue. The hand-soap in the bathroom was near empty, the existing toilet paper was very low on arrival and needed replacing. Do better Moxy!

Unfortunately, the parking situation is an absolute nightmare. Having to park in a garage and haul luggage such a long distance was incredibly frustrating. Valet is available, but it seemed overwhelmed--one guest said they had been waiting over an hour for their vehicle. Parking also costs $36 per vehicle, per night. I realize the parking garage and elevators are likely operated by the city rather than the hotel, but they're still part of the guest experience. The elevator was absolutely filthy, with what appeared to be feces on the floor and walls, and it reeked of urine. The room was mostly clean, but there were several stains on the carpet that honestly looked like feces. I ended up covering the area with a towel and kept my shoes on while in the room. The staff was pleasant, but the rooms are very small with only a tiny refrigerator and no microwave. I also expected normal downtown noise, but this was far beyond that. I've stayed in downtown hotels in both Boston and New York City that were significantly quieter. The traffic and street noise here were constant and extremely loud. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. If you're coming for a concert at the Spectrum Center and don't have a car, the location is hard to beat. Otherwise, I'd stay elsewhere. Now, on to the actual wedding details- From day one, Lynn made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze. The service she provided was impeccable and the experience is unforgettable. Whether you have Pinterest board filled with a detailed vision or you're unprepared more of a laid back bride, Lynn will walk you through every step and make your day PERFECT. My fiancé and I opted to purchase the Fairytale Package. With that package, a lot of the hard part of the wedding planning is taking off of your plate. You get a choice of a few caterers, a few florists, a few DJs, etc... all the sourcing of the vendors is already done for you! All of the vendors that Lynn has on this list are top notch professionals. There is a Bridal Suite & Grooms Suite that made the getting ready process a blast - just show up, pour some champagne, and enjoy your last few hours with your girls (or guys!) before you're married! Having the Bridal Suite with full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom allowed us to get comfy and spend the morning getting our hair & makeup done without having to worry about transportation or timelines. I would highly recommend using Polished Event Design & Fine Decor Rental (Lynn's other company) to help add even more beauty to your special day. Just got home from an overnight visit at The AC Hotel in Ballantyne NC. I asked for an early check…read morein, which I understand can't always happen... but I was hopeful. We arrived around 2 and was told it would not be but about 10 minutes. So we hung out in the lobby and after about 15, we went back....but still not ready. We walked down and had a beer at a local place and went back around 3:30 and checked it. I have to say we were not greatly impressed. We had a king premium but the views of uptown Charlotte were pretty great. The furnishings left a lot to be desired. I understand it's a hotel and they have certain criteria for furnishings but the bed was NOT comfortable and the couch and chair.....felt like straight out of a trailer. For almost $250 for the night, I expected more. I don't think the AC Hotel will get my hard earned money again. Oh.....and one last thing, you know when the front desk tells you there is a "trick" to getting ice from the ice machines, I knew we were in trouble.

Secondly where water is supposed to pour in the gym for your drink, it was so dirty. Also in the gym: There are no cleaning supplies to clean after yourself, meaning potentially it goes hours without cleaning and that can be a big sanitation issue. 2. The beds are hard, and I wasn't sure that the shower was properly cleaned. There are two shower heads, one you can remove and adjust wherever you want. I aimed it to a corner of the shower to check and out came dirt, dust, I'm not sure what else. Nothing crazy but still. Also, why and how is the toilet crooked? It's so weird to sit in. The shower settings are kinda complicated to figure out and the water pressure could be better. Now the bathroom door: NO. It isn't a real door, it's like a glass slide door thing that came off the wheels TWICE, and there's no ventilation in the bathroom: meaning foggy, stinky, whatever just lingers for awhile. 3. No pool, roof top lounge, but no pool. 4. Room is pretty meh ‍ Most likely would not book again, but to each their own. If you don't care about those things then book to your hearts desire The lobby is nice, the hotel looks insane, I wished the rooms and gym matched that.

Given that I brought my dogs, I appreciated the lack of fluff. They charge an additional $250 for pups per stay, but given I was there 4 days it was well-proces. The lobvy is large and the breakfast was good. On the weekdays you can get a freshly made hot breakfast and the weekends havs a buffet style. They even have a cappuccino and espresso machine.
