I hate that it took me so long to write this review. I feel like I having been keeping this place a secret by doing so The staff here make you feel warm and welcomed. The rooms here are clean and well put together. Sleep great too! Didn't hear noise from outside or the lobby while staying here. The breakfast here is truly amazing!!! You get the regular yogurt and cereal but they also have a waffle maker (a big one and mini's), an mini egg omelettes, sausage, and much more. Yumm yum! Great sitting area outside as well! If your going to be in this area stay here, you will leave satisfied.

    Good breakfast for a hotel

Stayed there for 4 days for a vacation trip. Let's start with the staff. They were all friendly and efficient. Constantly sanitizing and general cleaning. For being on the beach there were little to no signs of sand. There was someone that was constantly sanitizing. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The hospitality and cooking staff were also on top of things by constantly filling food. The food was tasty for hotel food. We did laundry which was also nice. The hotel overall was quiet and you couldn't hear other people like most hotels. The only set back is someone Parked a Winnebago in the parking lot limiting quite a few parking spots.

Decent price for what you get. I've stayed here twice now and it hasn't changed. The rooms are very clean and they have the typical amenities. The staff here is nice but they do not go out of their way to be very accommodating. They also like to use their cell phones for personal phone calls while at the front desk which I thought was a little off-putting. One of the girls that works the morning was nice enough to assist me with research on places to go to eat and to visit. She was very helpful for local questions. Like I said, the staff is nice and they are willing to assist but they're lacking a little bit of professionalism that I'm normally accustomed to at other Marriott locations. The free breakfast good. They do go through a lot of coffee so if the coffee does run out someone is there to refill it fairly quickly. The beds are comfortable and the linens are soft. I had a little bit of issue the air-conditioner at first but I was able to get it working. You have to make the adjustments at the air conditioner at self and not by the thermostat on the wall.

Quiet, affordable and clean. Location: B there is construction going on right now....otherwise A-. The beach is indeed across the street, but the street is a 4 lane road. Rooms: B- Very Clean...cleanliness is a huge hotel pet peeve of mine. It is a relatively New property and staff keeps it clean. Room sizes are decent for 2-4 people. Service/Staff: A. Great morning breakfast buffet and complimentary Wi-Fi and printer use. Great weekend getaway, near the beach with stores and restaurants close. As one tripper/yelper said, go a mile down and the entrance for the beaches are free.

We checked in hotel and had purchased a king suite. Upon entering room we noticed it's a lot smaller than advertised online. I had a sleepy toddler on my arms and took her directly to the room where we noticed we are right next to the elevator. We steadily heard elevator go up and down every couple min along with people loud conversations or laughing and called front desk to see if we could be moved. They offered to move us following day to another suite due to no openings on the first night. We agreed. Around 5 we get back to room and I take out my 3 year olds play house and play doh and book to use while we watch tv and order pizza. Around 745 we get a phone call from front desk stating we have a complaint of being too loud and a thump coming from our room. It can't be us. We are exhausted after a long road trip and busy day. My daughter is sitting playin w her toys on top of the table. About 5 min later the employee comes knocking at door. I open it and she starts saying she received another complaint and if this continues she will move our room and we will be downgraded. In shock, bc it's def not our room nor any running , no party, no music, no loud talking. I insisted to her that can't be from our room and they have to be mistaken. She was rude and automatically assumed the person below us was telling the truth and I kept trying to think what noise they heard. I could hear people down are hall talking and running to their rooms and doors slamming. But here I am getting blamed and threaten to be downgraded due to a thumping coming from my room at 745!!!! The next morning the only thing I could think of is that our son brought our newborn grand baby a couple days old to see us for about 15 min along w their 1 year old who is learning to walk. For sure the thumping they heard was when she was trying to walk . Very disappointed. I told them I was going to record what was going on in my room as soon as she left from telling me about complaint and I sure did. I recorded the next 34 min until we went to bed. Such a joke. Rude customer service. Instead of questioning she was assuming and believing one side who heard noise at 7:45 pm From our room. Smh. Never again. Never again. Here are the pics of the room advertised vs what we received as well. What happened to the larger room with separate eating area blocked off from room? We chose room bc of space due to staying for 3 nights.

This is the "View" I paid extra for. A highway a tiny bit of beach and a horizon.

Due to recent VRBO scams, we rented directly through Compass Resorts. Their process is very easy and reliable and we found the sales staff very helpful. Check in was flawless and the fastest I have ever experienced at any resort. In less than 15 minutes, from the time we pulled into the resort, we were stepping into our condo. The condo is centrally located with a stop light right at the road into the complex. This is important because the road is very busy and you want to be able to easily make a right or left out of the complex. Parking at the condo is assigned, so that is not an issue. There is also ample additional parking. The complex itself is very well laid out. We did a lot of vacationing at, for example, places like the Beach Club in Gulf Shores, and the elevator situation was an absolute nightmare by comparison. During our entire stay thus far (we are halfway through our stay), we never had to wait on an elevator. In fact, it was a rare experience to even have to share the elevator. Total time from our condo to stepping on the beach? Less than five minutes. About three minutes to the pool and two minutes to the parking garage. Our condo itself was immaculate. Note, the condo we stayed in was managed by Compass Resorts. However, it was very clear to us that the owner took great pride of ownership. All electronics worked perfectly, there was surround sound throughout condo and on balcony, three flat screen TV's, modern new furniture, excess quality bath towels, a fully equipped kitchen, bottled water, etc.... I am a fanatic about cleanliness and look at a number of items to assess cleanliness, including baseboards. The boards were spotless, even in the corners. It is clear to me the cleaning /servicing company they use takes their job seriously. Even after a military type inspection, I could find no fault with the condo. A note on security: This condo does not mess around with security. It is clear they do not want to become another Panama City Beach, which I will never go back to again. There are security cameras throughout the resort including inside elevators and at the pool. Compass Resorts also staff's the facility 24 hours a day and the staff subtly patrols the grounds and take their job seriously. They inspect balconies regularly (from the ground), are constantly cleaning, help guide visitors, and ensure rules are followed (such as pool closing at 10pm and smoking is only done in designated areas). The resort uses an RFID key Fob system and wristband for access to parking, garage, building, pool, and even the private beach. If you do not belong in the resort, you will have a hard time getting in. I appreciate this level of security. However, if you want to drink and get rowdy or have kids that you choose not to control, this is probably not the place for you. The resort has two of the cleanest pools and hot tubs I have ever used. There was never any garbage in the pool area. The pool and beach entrance are equipped with showering areas and everything always worked perfectly. A common grilling area with gas fired outdoor grills is provided and pretty good, with a seating area. Bottom line, Destin Florida is now our favorite Gulf Destination stop and we will be back to Silver Beach Towers. This location, perhaps due to price, seems to attract a different type of crowd than Panama City Beach. Once again, if you are the type of crowd that intends to get rowdy, not follow rules, or otherwise intends on tearing the place up, this place is not for you. Also, if there is any underage drinking, they will evict your group immediately.

The best part was the made-to-order option, where the chef prepared the omelettes exactly to the customer's specifications. The hotel also has a convenient private beach. The first room we were put in I sweat all night. The ladies at the front desk were so accommodating to get us a cool room. The night lady and early morning ( I should have gotten there names) went above and beyond to move us. They actually went to several rooms to find the coolest one. They gave us a voucher for $25 to use at the restaurant. We moved to a new room and it was much cooler. I was very pleased. The housekeeping does not clean your room. They exchange towels and give you new coffee bios and coffee. We had sand on us from the beach and it's very visible. They did not clean the floors nor the bathroom. We loved how close the hotel was to major attractions like HarborWalk Village, Henderson Beach State Park, and Silver Sands Premium Outlets--all less than ten miles away. The hotel's modern design and the layout of our suites were appealing, especially with the separate bedroom area from the living and kitchen space. Having a kitchen made it convenient so we didn't have to eat out for every meal, and we enjoyed using the jacuzzi as well. However, there were some significant downsides. My suite wasn't ready until around 6 PM, which was well past the designated check-in time. My daughters' suite was available by 4 PM, so at least we could refrigerate our groceries then. Cleanliness was also an issue: the sofa in my daughters' suite had visible dirt marks and a pet odor, and we found strands of hair in the towels and other places in both suites. Also, the "partial ocean view" advertised for our suites was so restricted that calling it a partial view seemed almost comical.
