Decent hotel in St. Augustine area! Very clean room (had one with 1 king bed), had room cleaning once during our 3 night stay and they did a nice job. Everything worked fine. Cable package is more than basic. Parking - always found a spot coming and going. Very quiet, no noise issue during our stay and that is a major plus! Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room! Front desk - very nice people, we even asked for pizza advice one night! Breakfast - above average! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, you can make your own waffles, scones, boiled eggs, toast maker with bagels, bread, english muffins, jellies, cereals, yogurt, bananas, oranges, good coffee, orange juice, tried the apple one, not that good. But everything is decent, they replenish it all the time. The seating area and breakfast area can get crowded, took the food up to our rooms a few times. They have a fridge near the front desk with water, soft drinks, beers, etc. That came in handy since I didn't have time to do errands during this visit and the driking water in Florida has a funny taste, you need bottled water. No issues, decent stay, solid place!

Certainly not a resort by any means. It's basically just a spot to hang our hat while doing a week's R&R in St Augustine. It's kinda out of the way yet not hard to find. It's along the entrance to one of the outlet malls off I-95 at SR 16 on the way into Old St Augustine. JJ was the desk clerk who greeted us at 3pm check in. Friendly sort who went the extra step or two to let us know to ask for anything if we needed it. I opted to receive no housekeeping for our week. It DOES however, receive housekeeping after our third full day, so Wednesday...housekeeping. Towels, etc ate for one's asking anytime. This thing is a mini suite, which means a bit bigger than a standard hotel room but not quite an efficiency either. We're in the third floor of a three story hotel, overlooking the nominal swimming pool. 3' deep at one end and 5' deep at the other. Hot tub/jacuzzi on the fritz too. Yawn... Two TV sets and a somewhat worn out mattress. One window AC unit controlled by a wall thermostat with a kind of its own. Living area was a bit warm while the sleep area was like an icebox. Only thing left to review is the free breakfast... Breakfast is two chafing dishes. One has eggs and the other contains breakfast meat. For instance there was pork sausage and turkey sausage in the latter on Monday, while the former had "cage free scrambled eggs." Eh...also a waffle station, muffins, bagels, a nominal amount of fresh fruit, etc. Nothing much to write home about, and I can say the same is true for this hotel as a whole too. Eh!

Mattresses piled up at side entrance.

Nice place. Quiet. I would come here again. Well kept, except the walkway next to the building. Fair breakfast. Big pile of mattresses outside.

Dated furniture and non functioning appliances.

This Fairfield Inn is TIRED!!! The rooms are way dated, closet doors will not close, windows corroded, AC will not function with Thermostat on the wall. The thermostat is actually disconnected. No USB ports, the list goes on. The odd thing is that I just spent the previous night at a Fairfield Inn in Staunton VA and they were super m and updated. I hope my review provides some insight, if and when you decide to visit this Fairfield

An older hotel but nice. The employees are nice and that means a lot! It was clean. The rooms were adequate, air was good, no smells, water pressure and temperature was great, bed was comfortable, the elevator was not slow. The lobby area is really pretty and bright. The WiFi was down but being fixed and worked well my last 24 hrs. Breakfast was always super neat and full. Someone was always able to answer the phone when I called for anything. They had a nice sitting area with a TV. Lots of pamphlets for the nearby attractions. They were super close to the interstate but easy to get in and out of because the fabulous outlet mall is right there! If I was staying on a budget or needed a place to stay for the night, I would stay here again. Now I don't star properties like most people because I have been part of the industry for years but under Forbes five-star five diamond.. so you have to be a fancy hotel to get five stars, a four star hotel for four so this three is really good to be such a cheap hotel.

Unfortunately the balcony rooms on the Bayfront were unavailable, so we booked a corner balcony room overlooking the historic district buildings and iconic streets filled with boutique stores. We were on the second floor overlooking Charlotte Street/Treasury Street. We could hear the live music from the Saints restaurant next door at night. Very little car noise at night. Public street parking maybe hard to find during busy times such as July 4th weekend and the lots were slightly expensive. Luckily most restaurant and local attractions were walkable so we left our car in the hotels, where the valet was also expensive but convenient. You can also buy a ticket to the Hop off and Hop on trolley right at the Hilton front desk, which takes you to the different tourist attractions that was slightly farther away. For July 4th, the hotel had a BBQ in front of the hotel. It was nicely done. The staff went above and beyond to make the event enjoyable for the guests. Tents were set up for outdoor seating, to eat grilled food, drink and listen to music. At night, you can see the fireworks right outside the hotel. Highly recommend and would definitely come back to this hotel when we visit St. Augustine again.

And we had one of the most delicious hotel breakfasts I have ever had..well prepared and fresh. The room rate is insane in June; one night with valet was close to $500. But it's a great location and property. It's wonderfully decorated during the holidays, too. But listen, it's an awkward layout (like much of St Augustine) and now that I travel with an elderly parent, I tend to notice these things. There are ADA rooms but this property consists of different buildings, walk ways, elevators, and hallways. Be prepared and call the hotel for information. They are great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We usually stay at Casa Monica, but they need to update the rooms there and we are so happy with this property now.

The room was nice and spacious, with odd closets, but they worked for the time we were spending there. They also had robes if we needed to be bougie and prance around. We slept well and had a nice view of the square between the Lightner Mansion and Flagler College. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. They gave good recommendations on how to get around Saint Augustine, which had been a minute for me, so it was good to get a refresher. Sparkling wine at the front desk when we checked in was excellent and helped us unwind after the drive from South Florida. They have a gym and pool that I believe is accessible through the second floor, so I will have to remember that for our return trip. Also, they have a Starbucks on the lobby floor, which was great to get our morning pick-me-up. The bar and restaurant were very stylish, lots of Spanish influence from the 15th and 16th centuries. The cocktails were also solid. I didn't care for the water pressure and temperature, as they were difficult to adjust and ensure we were getting the correct settings. It was pretty scalding hot, so it took a couple of minutes to get it right, and then I kept it on the setting for my wife since I didn't want her struggling to mess with it. Apart from that, the experience was great. We enjoyed the sparkling wine and the accommodations when we checked in. The valet was good to have, as I didn't want to mess with street parking, but it is more expensive; take note.

The lower level period touches and decor are divine, and the location is just about perfect -- close to everything the old town has to offer. The guest rooms though? Eh, for a so-called 'resort' I was not blown away. I get the historical angle and an old building and all, but unfortunately (in my experience) that usually means a compromise on some level. Sure, the bed was very comfy, but the shower - and bathroom in general - was mediocre at best, with dated fixtures and not so great pressure. The room was fairly small-- fine for a solo traveler like me --- made interesting with matching eclectic furniture but not at luxury level. Just pointing it out.

The Voco was an ideal place to stay. It is a modern boutique hotel and about a 10 minute walk from downtown St. Augustine. Everyone we met on the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt ZERO ghostly spirits around and no bad juju, which is hard to find in St. Augustine, honestly. Everything was super clean and crisp-looking. It was quaint and quirky, but I enjoyed that about the hotel. It wasn't your run-of-the-mill hotel. The room came with a big TV, a very cozy bed, and a bigger-than-usual mini fridge, which was AMAZINGGG because we had made a pit stop at Buc-ee's for birthday treats and fun... I am obsessed with IHG's bathroom products. Their shampoo is incredible. And the room was pretty quiet- we didn't hear our neighbors. The bar area looked really tempting. We heard the breakfast there is realllllly good- unfortunately, we didn't have time to hang out at the bar or have breakfast. We did pop into the littleee convenience/shop area for a pint of ice cream which hit the spot after coming home from dinner. There is free covered parking below the hotel (and more parking available outside), which is super convenient. The gym looked nice. I love that they had laundry machines. The ice machine was always fully stocked and working. We had a great stay at Voco and really enjoyed our 3 days there. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.
