I was in town for a wedding and here are some of my notes for Fairfield Inn and suites Boston. Friendly and helpful staff on sight. Check out times listed 12 PM. Rooms need some updating, my rooms had torn and ripped curtains in one room and stains on bed in another room. Staff remedy the situation immediately. Minimal usables, such as in-room coffee, soaps and towels. -Ample Parking with lighting. - 2 wheeled carts, for guests to use to bring in luggage to room. - Very Generous breakfast with lots of options, breakfast open Monday-Friday 6:30-9:00am, Saturday-Sunday 7:00-9:30am - they do offer a heated pool. -I wish the pool had towels available for drying off. -gym had three cardio machines that all worked, but couldn't find the remote for the air conditioner. There was self cleaning available. and I wish there was a TV in this room to use while working out. This hotel is definitely not a 5 or a 1 star but as solid 3 star. There are hiking trails/walking trails very close by across the street. read more

I'll start out by saying I'm pretty tough on hotels...so my average rating here is just that...average. Wifey and stayed here for two nights in early December as we were going to the Army-Navy game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The room was perfectly comfortable for our needs. Bed was fine, Tv and wi-fi were fine, and it was clean. I was disappointed that there were no charger/usb ports near the bed (most places we stay have them built into the lamps, clock, or just have them on the wall or side table). I was also disappointed with the water pressure in the room. This place has a coffee/breakfast bar off the lobby, but it was a little pricey for the quality and size of the cup. It's a Fairfield Inn, not a Four Seasons, and this was a decent stay with good parking, easy and friendly check in and checkout, and decent rooms. I'd stay here again... read more

Spent a week at this property. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed, and not a lot of noise at night for those who are light sleepers, and the staff are great. You are near shopping and food so you don't have to travel far if you need something. read more

Last time we stayed here was 5 years ago. It has not improved. In fact it's worse. Door slamming all night long. It sounded like there was a herd of elephants in the room above us. Also, not a bar of soap in the bathroom. read more

Two rooms in one night. The second more damp and smelly than the first. I asked to move after a fire alarm (outside from 2:00 - 3:00 a.m.) could not be completely reset and the strobe was going off in our room. The second room had no strobe but smelled horrible and carpeting even more damp than in the first room. Additionally, the ceilling was literally peeling over the bed, there was what appeared to be mold on the bathroom wall and every grab bar, towel rack and vent covere made of metal was covered with rust. It was absolutely disgusting. When I tried to speak to the General Manager about it at 4:00 a.m., he was beyond rude and not at all interested in the experience. I've stayed at this hotel at 4 or 5 times between July 2012 and Feb 2013. It's a consistently good experience but basic hotel. Includes free WiFi, free limited hot breakfast, and free WiFi. The pool is indoor and heated year round but very small; the exercise room has a few good cardio machines and some dumbbells. The woman working the breakfast bar is super friendly. Be careful if turning left out of the parking lot as it's hard to see Southbound cars coming from the left side. The rooms (clean but very basic) and pool get 3 stars; exercise room gets 3 stars; the value-for-price and professional front desk staff get 4 stars. The woman working at the breakfast bar gets 5 stars! Note that the free breakfast is better than the Holiday Inn Express across the street but not nearly as good as what a Residence Inn by Marriott serves. I suspect the Courtyard by Marriott around the corner is nicer to stay at but it is more expensive and I've never tried it (though I've eaten there). I'm sure I'll be staying at this Fairfield Inn again. read more

This is a very basic hotel. The staff are very nice. The hotel is clean but could use updating. The rooms are basic and the bathroom area is small. Wi-fi speed is fine. The morning breakfast choices are pretty good. The breakfast staff are very nice and helpful. They will make you waffles :) This is a good choice for a short stay and budget conscious. Business travelers will prefer the Courtyard across the street. read more

DON'T STAY HERE! It is not clean, and people at the desk were incompetent. We were checked into a dirty room, and then blamed for making it that way. They were unapologetic and rude, and after a long day of travelling, we simply wanted to sleep. We were moved to another (much noisier) room, but the managerial staff was just awful - didn't want to talk to us, and didn't apologize for ANYTHING until we checked out the next day! Not to mention the "General Manager" - he was in shorts and a t-shirt, and looked like he had just woken up, didn't greet us at the desk as we walked up, and was not wearing a name tag. We also didn't get our receipt emailed to us as requested. Completely unacceptable standard of care; I've come to expect more from Marriott properties, and this one definitely fell short. read more

If you're a fan of thin walls, small rooms, brown tap water and street noise, this place is for you. The only way the room could be more dirty, is if you got a dirtier room and somehow used it to try and clean this one. Oh yeah the mechanical monotone noise that was emitted from the circa 1970 spore spreader of a heater reminded me of sleeping on the Battleship Missouri. OK, OK I exaggerate for affect, the Missouri was much quieter. On a positive note they don't charge for WiFi and the connection was almost mediocre (1,362 down / 1,040 up Kbps). read more

The staff was nice enough. The Continental breakfast was the worse I have ever had. Stick to the yogurt. The hotel pumps a very strong air freshener that is more than noticeable as soon as you walk in. My room smelled moldy and I became sick from the incredibly strong chemicals being used to cover up the smell. Talked to the front desk and they unplugged the air freshener only for a day. Worse 4 day hotel experience ever. The only reason I stayed was because I was working in the area and couldn't get into another hotel. read more

Lackluster experience. Inattentive customer service, equipment left in room at check-in and an improperly maintained pool area. Really disappointing overall and even though I used points, I feel like I want my money back for the experience. Their cleaning chemicals leave a strange odor across the hotel. The pool area doesn't have the hot tub the hotel guide said it did. The pool area itself wasn't cleaned and the area around pool and the pool steps were slimy. Then to top it off had an 8:45am fire alarm in the morning which made sleeping in difficult. Worse staff provided no guidance to guests having to evacuate or when they could come back in. There are plenty of better places to stay than this place in Milford or Franklin. read more

My family (40+ people) does a big thanksgiving every other year. This year, my aunt hosted in Milford. Most of us stayed here. Being that it was a Fairfield Inn and it was a family trip, I wasn't expecting much. So, the mold in the bathroom, the noisy machine room we were put next to, and the housekeeper that insisted on knocking on our door at 8am every morning - none of that really annoyed me until now. My gracious grandmother insisted on paying for my hotel room. She booked the stay with her credit card. When checking in (I arrived later), I was asked for a CC for incidentals. Of course this is the standard when checking into hotels, so I gave them my CC and re-iterated that my grandma was paying for the hotel, and that my CC was for ONLY incidentals. A week goes by, and I notice an unauthorized $300 charge to my card from the Fairfield Inn and Suites. Being that it is the holiday season, and my credit card payment was due in just a couple of days, naturally, I panicked. I called the hotel and explained the situation, and they assured me that they would resolve right away. I get an email from the manager notifying me that my card had been refunded. Usually refunds take a couple of business days, so I check my card and notice that they did not refund my card, rather they charged me ANOTHER $300. After too much angst and anxiety, I finally got this issues resolved and got my money back..2 weeks later. Needless to say, I will never be staying here or at another Fairfield Inn & Suites ever again. read more

The front desk staff and kitchen staff were incredibly nice. The suite was small but very clean and nicely decorated. The price was quite a good deal and the free breakfast was great. All good. read more

The staff is very friendly and let me check in early. The free breakfast was decent and had healthy options such as Greek yogurt and oatmeal as well as fruit. The hotel was pretty basic but clean. I used the gym which had 2 treadmills and an elliptical plus free weights and a bench. The pool is a good size but I didn't use it. I would stay again. read more

I am very disappointed in the service I received at this hotel. I am a very loyal member who stays at Marriotts all the time for work and I am usually pleased. I called the Fairfield Inn to let them know that I would be doing a late check out. The woman on the phone said "Sure no problem, don't worry about it" and hung up. I took a very long drive to Milford and arrived around 11:30pm so tired and ready for bed. The women at the front desk told me that they did not have a room for me because no one marked that I would be late. They both looked at me with blank stares and I asked "so what are we going to do here?" She said they have no rooms except 2 dirty rooms which she would need to clean for me. I was way too tired to wait around for that. They were very unsympathetic and didn't offer to help me find another hotel. I left the building in tears. Luckily there was a Courtyard right next door and the woman there was very nice in letting me have a room for the night. As a loyal member to Marriott, I was not pleased at all. We are in the middle of a long stay at this hotel. (Moving and in between houses) I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The staff is superb. I've traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels, as a former flight attendant, so I've had a lot of interaction with hotel staff. This staff truly is superb. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is very good. You really can't ask for more. Great value!!! 8 days later.... We're nearing the end of our stay here, and I still have nothing but good things to say. I forgot to mention.... Every Wednesday evening, they have a social hour in the evenings, with a full meal provided. Very nice. read more

Very disappointed with my stay & the only thing that kept me from giving this location one star was one amazing front desk clerk (she had glasses but can't recall her name). The clerk who checked us in was friendly enough but did not seem that knowledgeable about the hotel & later seemed irritated/disinterested when I reported an issue with the fitness center. The fitness center itself was kind of appalling. The equipment worked fine, but the first day there were no towels or cups for water or even hand sanitizer & nothing to wipe down the machines after use. The next day, there were towels but still no hand sanitizer & the only cups were the ones I had brought in from the breakfast buffet the day before. I'm certainly never expecting a five-star gym at a hotel, but I was beyond disappointed that even these basic things were lacking. The room itself was fine but just felt kind of dingy. The heating/cooling unit was noisy & appeared to either be growing mold or was just dirty (I'm hoping for the latter). I have stayed here before & the quality of this location seems to have declined. There are plenty of other hotels in and around Milford now, so I would recommend going to one of those instead. read more

Worst time in a hotel ever. My mother rented a room for a night to have a good time with my son because every time she comes to visit we stay in a hotel. My son got an allergy in his eyes, a half hour after being in the room, because of the powdered smell they throw in the carpet, that they're supposed to vacuum they gave as an explanation. Well, they didn't vacuum, my son's eye got so big and the next day was still really swollen we wanted our money back. He couldn't enjoy his time with his grandmother and the general manager(Worst time in a hotel ever(Eddie Waldo) has the nerve to say he came like that, we showed him a picture of my son in the room when he got there he didn't have anything, and then he says why didn't we said he was allergic. How are we going to know that the chemicals they throw in the carpets and they're supposed to vacuum was going to affect him that's ridiculous. I think he was scared of getting sued, instead of treating my mother correctly and really worrying about my 6 years old boy eye. Just with a simple call hi how's the boy doing, he calls the room with a disgusting attitude, of course, I want my money back. Horrible general manager! read more

We used the Fairfield Inn & Suites for our wedding weekend (we got married in Holliston) on 10/24/15. They were extremely accommodating to our 50+ guests that were there throughout the weekend and did everything they could to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. The rooms have been recently updated and the free breakfast was great. They were very understanding when our guests wanted to keep the party going and provided the lobby for our use! The staff members were EXTREMELY friendly, personable, and professional the entire weekend. I would highly recommend staying here. read more

I normally stay at the courtyard across the street, but they were all booked up so I booked the Fairfield Inn... That was the first and last time that will ever happen. My doors hinge was off or something because my deadbolt could not latch, my TV didn't work at first (had to call to have them fix that), and the most annoying this was my room only had 2 hangers... I went to the front desk, while I am waiting for them to get me some hangers from another room or the back I read a sign to the left of the desk that said something to the effect of "we're not satisfied until you are", after 5 minutes of looking they told me there are no more and nothing they could do until tomorrow, but they would leave a not to drop some in the morning; that never happened so i went back down in the morning and asked again. They told me they neve got the note, later that day I was finally give 2 more hangers... So much for the BS customer promise, I would have been better off driving 3 minutes down the road to target and buy a 10 pack for $1.99. read more
