Nice queen size beds and refreshed interior (although the paint on some doors and the sink faucet is already peeling) and note, no more irons and ironing board - they supply you with a clothes steamer. We ate at the main dining room for breakfast buffet (it's the only option with no a la carte menu) and is $18 pp. we enjoyed it and one of the mornings they also offered omelette and eggs your way station. That was a bonus. We enjoyed their spread. For dinner, the wedding had a pre reception the night before and it was setup as a buffet with a cash bar. It was fine and just reminded me of your typical catered food. Not great but not bad. The Legends bar was a nice surprise seeing a full sports bar inside a hotel. Nice bartenders and friendly to boot. Also had live music too. They have nice size indoor pool and a tiny fitness center (please fix your Peloton bike!) too. There is a grocery store just couple minutes all of you need to get something. Nice hotel and thank you for finally adding no nuts cookies!

I'll start with the positives because there were some. The room itself was clean, the bed was…read morecomfortable, and we appreciated the small touches -- coffee, bottled water, and wonderfully fluffy pillows. After a long night out, that comfort matters. Now for the not-so-great. We were attending an event at the hotel, and unfortunately the bartender scheduled for the event was sick. That part isn't my complaint -- these things happen. However, guests were directed to the hotel bar instead. Fine... although walking through a Valentine's crowd in full vampire makeup was admittedly awkward (but that's on us and our life choices ). What was frustrating: the two water dispensers in the hallway of our event were completely empty. If there's no bartender for the event, ensuring guests have access to water seems like a very basic courtesy. Later that night, the hallway outside our room turned into what felt like a preteen playground around 11 p.m. Not ideal for sleep. I won't entirely blame the hotel for that -- but it certainly didn't help the overall experience. The real issue, and the reason for the low rating, was the construction. The website clearly states renovations begin at 8:30 a.m. and run until 6 p.m. Unfortunately, we were jolted awake at 6:45 a.m. by loud banging, drilling, stomping, and worker chatter right above our room. When you're paying close to $200 per night and hoping to sleep in after a night of celebration, that matters. A lot. We left tired, cranky, and disappointed. We even skipped the $18-per-person breakfast (served in a freezing cold dining area) because we just wanted to get out of there. It's frustrating because this could have been a decent stay. But unexpected early construction noise and basic oversights like empty water stations made it one we won't be repeating.

They often have birthday parties with older, unsupervised children so you have to watch your child, and other kids, very closely as many younger kids get hurt by the older kids. There is no supervision or direction from the staff so kids run wild. In general, the staff are unorganized and aloof. We have also attended birthday parties here, and the staff are not attentive and rarely even present. The Zig Zag Zone is closed during the summer of 2013. We found out the hard way, as my son asked me to take him there for his first day of summer vacation. After checking their website to be sure it was open in the morning, we made the 25-minute trip there to find out it was closed for renovations over the summer. The owner was there and when I asked if the info about the closure is on their website, she said it was. Thinking maybe I missed it, I went back to my car and checked the site on my phone; nothing about the closure. In fact, it listed only open hours. I went back inside to tell the owner. I said I wasn't trying to be a jerk but their website said they were open and she scoffed and said, "I thought it was up there. I will tell Felicity." I don't know who Felicity is, but I was expecting at least an apology. I told her my son was disappointed and we had driven almost half an hour to get there, and she shrugged and said, "sorry." No real apology, no offer of a free pass. Clearly they don't value our future business and we won't be visiting again.

The price is great too, compared to places like Kidz Turf in Millis and Kidz Wurld in N. Attleboro. I wish they would put that in their website as I traveled 20 mins to get there and my kids were totally bummed.

We fell in love with her, the house, everything including the murder-by-mail story behind the house from the 1800s. About 2 weeks before the party we called Kaitlyn and told her it was going to turn into our surprise wedding! She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. Our rental price included some tables and linens she had available, and some glassware too. It was so perfect from the start and we couldn't be happier!!

Beautiful historic building who's tour guides added in a true life murder mystery of the lady of the houses death. This really added to the event as it was so my scene and absolutely fun. I would def host an event here because unlike the Newport mansions I could touch things and see things in the midst of being historically preserved since they're still restoring the house. Wifey and stayed here for two nights in early December as we were going to the Army-Navy game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The room was perfectly comfortable for our needs. Bed was fine, Tv and wi-fi were fine, and it was clean. I was disappointed that there were no charger/usb ports near the bed (most places we stay have them built into the lamps, clock, or just have them on the wall or side table). I was also disappointed with the water pressure in the room. This place has a coffee/breakfast bar off the lobby, but it was a little pricey for the quality and size of the cup. It's a Fairfield Inn, not a Four Seasons, and this was a decent stay with good parking, easy and friendly check in and checkout, and decent rooms. I'd stay here again...
