He took us on the most beautiful rides through old cities and up into the mountains. His knowledge of the local back roads and restaurants made every day a unique experience. The hotel, Garden Relais, is set at the base of the pre Dolomite mountains with stunning views, outdoor balconies and patios, and a fabulous spa (I enjoyed a fantastic massage!). The food and the staff were amazing - just say "Bill" and they take care of you - he is part of "the family" having operated his tour from Garden Relais since its beginning. Upon our arrival, Bill had us set up on Colnago bikes which were perfect. I wanted to climb and challenge myself and Bill helped make my goals a reality. After morning rides, we returned for an Italian gourmet experience with many options, and of course, wine and prosecco! In the afternoon, Bill offered us many options to explore the local region, shop at the local cycling outlets, or just relax. The non-cyclists in our group had many opportunities to explore the local area and were always treated to separate excursions when the rest of us explored by bike. Dinners were full of the best authentic Italian food and wine, new friends, and lots of laughter! We booked our hotel on the Expedia website. The hotel images were presented well and organized accordingly. The hotel offers in room dining, free parking, coffee in the morning, a pool, and a gym . The gym is something important to my life and its twenty four hours. They have a pool if you need to have a lap to make your life easier and more comfortable. The check in was simple and easy. The area is so beautiful. We are here all the way from Vegas . You could drop a pin outside and hear it bounce . The staff were very helpful. As we were in town many types of people came and went; this is important because whatever your need the "Hilton," brand is something that you can count on . They are dog friendly and offer great areas to keep the dog occupied for their walk . Now that we have our room key and we are all checked in let's go and check it out . The room is pretty standard for hotels across the Hilton spectrum. The bathroom is clean and all stocked with fresh towels . The beds all made and everything is in its place . It's easy to control the television. We have tons of outlets to plug in our devices . There is a place to make the essence of life, coffee of course. All is in order let's unpack . My friend had to run upstairs and get something so I waited downstairs for her outside. He was still sitting at the picnic bench so I walked around the parking lot and then I looked behind me and the gentleman was following me and the more I continue to walk the parking lot the closer he got. I have been living here since 2022 and I have never had an encounter like the one I had today and feeling unsafe for my life. Made a reservation several weeks ago got my confirmation email…read more Started my 10 hour drive today called them to let them know we would be checking in around 11pm and to my surprise was told that my reservation was canceled 10 mins after it was made weeks ago, never got an email or phone call no cancellation information. The women at the front desk taking the call was beyond rude disrespectful unpleasant and down right horrible zero customer service zero empathy for the situation couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. Was hoping the hotel was going to nice now i except it to be just as awful as their customer service was. A real let down to me and my kids. Definitely not the place stay.
