If you're a business traveler or anyone who needs a cooler room to sleep, this hotel is likely to disappoint. My room had a persistent "locker room" type odor that never cleared, even with the air conditioning running the entire time. Although the thermostat let me set a lower temperature, the room never cooled below 72 degrees, even after I was gone for several hours with the blinds closed and the AC on. When I went to the front desk to ask about switching rooms, the staff told me the hotel limits all rooms so they cannot cool below 72 degrees to "protect the AC units." The combination of the strong odor and the lack of real temperature control made the stay uncomfortable. For guests who prefer a cooler sleeping environment or are sensitive to smells, I would recommend choosing another nearby Marriott property instead. Policies like limiting rooms to 72 degrees should be clearly disclosed at booking or check-in so guests can make an informed decision. Based on this experience, I regret staying here and will not return. read more

One star is too much. I have never been spoken to or treat d so poorly. I am a loyal Bonvoy customer, I even got their credit card. I paid for a room yesterday and knew I was going to be very late and in fact driving thru the night. Because I am a member I knew I could get a 4 pm checkout. This woman summarily told me because I did t check in by 3am I was out of luck and have to pay for another day. No where on the reservation did it state I had to be there by 3am. ROACHESSSSSS !!! We were booked as a group to stay here for a sports tournament nearby. I wasn't expecting fabulous but I was at the very least, expecting clean. I am a Marriott girl by heart and it's always my first choice of hotel no matter where I'm going. Marriott has a certain standard and it's that standard that keeps me coming back. BUT THIS AIN'T IT!!! As soon as we walked into our room, the funky smell smacked me in the nose like a brick. Ugh!!! But I was thinking, the whole team is staying here, it's just the weekend, my daughter will want to be with her compadre's, I can stick it out! So then I ate my salad and began to try to get comfortable. I saw something crawling near the microwave so I grabbed a tissue and picked it up to inspect it. Baby roach!!!!! Not a good sign because where there are babies...there must be a big mama! So I started looking around and didn't see anything. But then my husband is lying on the bed and looks on the sheet, ANOTHER ROACH!!! He grabs it with a tissue and flushes it. Then he spots another one on the ceiling above the bed! Omg!!!!!! Then a few seconds later we spot another one on the bed my daughter was lying on! We start grabbing our things in preparation to go find another hotel. As we are packing, we spotted another one above the door and then yet another one near the bathroom door! I walked across the way to the Springhill and thank goodness they had a room. Let me add this...the woman at the front desk at the Fairfield was AMAZING. She had a very warm, smiling and welcoming face. She was also very accommodating and so by no means am I bashing the service. If I could give her 5 stars, I would. She's not in charge of extermination and I will not hold her at fault. This hotel is obviously quite old and in need of MAJOR RENOVATIONS. The roaches are in the walls and that room clearly had an infestation. I truly did not expect to see roaches as I don't think I have ever seen a roach in my Marriott hotel room before. Maybe ants...but not roaches. I hate giving 1 star because the front desk staff was great but unfortunately my review is for the room and that room was smelly and infested with roaches. read more

We visit Naples often and this time stayed at this hotel which is convenient to the highways but far from 5th Ave and beaches. Basically, only a Cracker Barrel and a Waffle House close. The hotel is kept clean, but my observations were that the staff has family stay with them in the lobby while they work, the elevator door open slowly and make cranking noise and the mattress in Room 317 is unbearably hard and old to get a good night sleep. The pillows are very very soft and fortunately we were able to get more pillows to make it better. The mattress was so bad that if our stay would have been more than 2 days we would have had to either move or leave. read more

Clean, reasonably priced. Clean room, had freshed baked cookies available at check in. Reserved a king size bed, room was smaller than expected as not enough room for furniture. Everything was crammed on one wall with refrigerator and microwave in corner next to a/c. Over sized microwave balanced on top of empty cabinet. Coffee maker in the bathroom. No exhaust fan in bathroom and no hair dryer. Free breakfast, coffee, juice, fruit available. Hot food was overdone. read more

We have stayed at this hotel more than once and haven't had any of the bad experiences in the other reviews. The staff at every level are always polite and professional, the breakfast was adequate for a hotel lobby, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the TVs offered plenty of channels and apps for streaming. I can say the exterior of the building needs refreshing in the near future, the parking lot is pitch black because the lights are almost all out, and trees and shrubs surrounding the property needed trimming or in some cases simply replaced. So this property suited my needs for a stop over before checking in the next day at our condo on Marco Island and I'd be happy to stay here again. read more

Greeted by a slovenly night clerk who had scuzzy looking family members draped about in sloppy attire. The whole night we heard slamming doors and cursing in the halls for hours . In the morning the housekeepers were yelling to each other down the halls we had maybe three hours sleep. Also they did a remodel with a big tv which is nice, but what modern hotel has no USB ports? During hurricane Ian we were evacuated and found this hotel with only a few rooms left. The manager, Pete was very helpful and worked tirelessly throughout the storm to make sure all of the residents had what they needed. All of the staff were kind and helpful and patient with a very full hotel. Even though they do not normally accept pets, they made an exception during this event. One of our room's A/C units failed and it was fully replaced within an hour. The hotel never lost power and served hot breakfast each morning and provided cleaning service each day. We were very pleased with our stay and recommend this hotel. read more

Arrived TIRED AF to get to an empty lobby. Waited and waited for someone from concierge so I could get checked in but there was no one. I waited for over 20 mins. We came with a group of 7 and the hotel wasn't very busy, probably due to the weather and flooding in Naples . I know that the previous reviews were negative about renovations but why complain about doing renovations? It's a good thing! Maybe dust everywhere but at least they warned you? Anyway, rooms were clean and spacious ( we upgraded to the 2 beds and a pull out thanks to Rachaune) There was a working fridge t.v. and an iPhone ipod dock station. A tv in each room and the bathroom was nice and big. The breakfast is amazing. We had cheese omelette, scrambled eggs, salsa and cheese etc etc. There is a weight room with free weights up to 50lbs, 2 treadmills and an elliptical. They also have free parking and board games you can borrow for rainy days. Definitely looked good and the staff were super friendly especially Rachaune! If we ever come back to Florida we will definitely be back here. read more

This hotel was very disappointing. We travel all the time for baseball with our two baseball teams and their families. This hotel looks great from the outside, beautiful landscaping and building looks new. The pool and outdoor area is really tiny. Not a place to bring more than a small family and if you're alone, hopefully there are not more than another family or two because not much space to spread out. The breakfast that is included in your stay was disappointing. There were paper bags to grab packaged food. There were not many fresh food choices besides a banana if you got there early before they were gone. Your choices were small cereals, a muffin, package of two small sausage sandwiches or a Nutri Grain bar. There was coffee and you could use a small plastic cup to get apple/orange juice from machine. The other hotels have had fresh food sealed and wrapped and made to go bags. Social distancing was labeled and signs every it not enforced. There seemed to be no hotel staff most of the time. The morning, afternoon or evening there was never anyone around. I was on the second floor and there was a party in the hall way right outside the elevator past down towards my room. I have two children so children being kids is fine with me, but there were over 10 children running and screaming up and down the hall for over an hour to where even my two children were annoyed. You could hear ever sound made in the hallway, and anytime another hotel room door opened and closed, they slam shut super loud and make a tons of noise. Plan on not sleeping well because you will also hear the elevator arrival ding anytime it's pressed and arrives. Our last night we arrived back to the hotel late by my son was in the ER and another party outside the room (that doesn't bother me, I understand it's vacationing for some) but when I asked for a late check out so that my son could sleep in since he wasn't feeling well and we had got in super late from the hospital, the front desk said no. After explaining the situation, she still said no and couldn't extend it past 11am. It's not like we were asking because I was at the pool. The morning we were leaving and I was having the boys sleep until I could get everything ready, housekeeping starting knocking continuously until I answered the door, non stop at 8:30am! It was obnoxious. After I answered and told her we were sleeping, she stood outside the door yelling to the other lady at the other end of the hallway and then was on her phone for five minutes. Total disregard for my family who I said was sleeping. The ceiling paint in the bathroom was falling off and the shampoo/conditioner and hand soap were two small samples and cheap quality. They need to spend time training staff on hospitality etiquette because there is none. We come to town for tournaments here all the time and have stayed at some great hotels, but will not be coming back to this one. The pool area, food choices, staff and room aesthetics are just not acceptable when there are so many other hotel choices in the same parking lot. read more

At a time when COVID Delta variant is rampant you would hope cleanliness would be a top priority of a property. We found a pair of socks in the room and the duvet cover had a blue stain leading us to believe the room was NEVER cleaned, there were no other rooms available in any other nearby hotels as it is Labor Day Weekend and a big soccer tournament that we are here for. We had a separate reservation for an extra night that we cancelled here at the same property that we refuse to stay at as the staff is rude to top it off at the front desk on Sunday morning. So I had originally booked with the spring hill suites hotel that is literally in the same parking lot. I get a call the day of saying that we've been moved to this hotel. Whatever, went with the flow to make sure we had a great weekend. They called me at 2:30pm the day of my arrival with this information. Their policy says you can cancel without any consequences or fees 24 hours ahead of time. Talk about bait and hook method. Booking a hotel the day of would've been insanely expensive. The staff members at this location weren't even wearing masks! When I tried speaking to the manager about the situation she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I have the emails to prove it. In addition they had signs outside of the parking lot saying that both hotels were open and they weren't. False advertisement at its best!!! read more

I can't say enough bad things about this hotel. The worst experience at a hotel period. When i checked in i walk into the lobby and there was no one working at front desk. I waited almost 15 min for a hotel employee to come and check me in. I asked what took so long and he tells me he is the only one on duty and he had to go work the other hotel across the way. One of the elevators was not operative so the wait times to go back and forth on the elevator were extremely long. The hotel interior was very dirty. Trash was inside the elevator for days and not cleaned. I asked to get my room cleaned by the young girl on duty and she hung up on me and i proceeded to all downstairs to ask her why she hung up on me and she said she was calling the police and i jad 10 min to leave the hotel. She had her baby and boyfriend with in the lobby while she worked. While o was packing my belongings ske called my room and my 10 year old daughter answered and she told her the police were coming to put us out. Who tells a child this. Spur of the moment trip to Naples. Hotel choice was good. A bit secluded, but very nice and clean. Rates where very affordable. Staff was friendly and very helpful, even gave us a list of near-by restaurants. Rooms are modern, smell fresh and clean. Do not waste your money here. We booked this place because it was a lot of us (10 rooms) and it seemed convenient with the free breakfast on their website. Well, it seems this hotel is using COVID to save every penny possible in addition to already skimping on toiletries. They are the only hotel in the area not offering hot breakfast options. They only have milk, and the worse quality muffins, microwaveable sausage sandwiches (which I literally used as laxatives) and cereal. If you wanted a banana, orange or a microwaveable egg and cheese sandwich, you better be there by 6 am because they only put out 10 of each even though the hotel was completely sold out. The reason they gave for not having breakfast buffet was Covid, however, masks or social distancing did not seem to be enforced at all. When we asked before 7 for additional breakfast items, they said that's all they had for the day. The Manager tried to be accommodating with a situation we had, however, most of the rest of the staff was not. We had one of the bathrooms clogged the first day we got in and they had no one to come check it or even bothered offering any alternatives. We literally had to walk downstairs to get a plunger ourselves. Amenities are also awful at this place. Do not look to this place on vacation as the pool it tiny and outside on the parking lot. You literally have to go outside thru the parking lot to go in the pool and not kid friendly. No other space for kids to roam around nearby. read more

It felt like sleeping on a wood plank you would think that for 202.00 a night they would have better mattresses. One of the lowest quality visits to any Marriot offering. If you get a room on the bottom floor, run for the hills. The rear door is left available for use all night and you hear it slam thousands of times a night, even off season, and even into the lobby and breakfast area. To get to the pool you actually need to exit the hotel's front door and head towards front on building. The rooms were clean, the beds were well used and very worn out with high and low sides, and the staff was reasonably nice. Its amazing when you tell the management of the issue (like the door slamming all night) and they agree its a constant complaint and yet haven't done anything to change it ! The complimentary breakfast is quite basic and a little confusing. They suggest breakfast sandwiches but only offer eggs scrambled and chopped up. They have no cheese singles for sandwich either. The kids thought the waffles were nice thought, but ended up eating a muffin instead. For no more expense they could amp up this area with just some basic adds. Honestly, I would never stay here again and would never visit another Fairfield Inn after seeing this design. The Courtyard by Marriott is a much nicer stay and experience for little more in cost. They should also consider a sign near roadway as this hotel is hard to find and not well marked from any direction. read more

The wallet contained all my important documents including Hotel staff did nothing to help us, didn't even offer a bottle of water as we were standing there for hours and hours waiting for their manager (who was away) to get in touch. We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The AM breakfast was wonderful, many items to choose from.

Plan on using the unlocked front entrance at all times. The locked entry doors won't work with your card key. It is suggested that one person stay in the lobby while the other person attempts to get in the room. It can prevent some unnecessary trips down to the front desk to get re-keyed to get access to your room. A nice hotel with some frustrations. read more

The wifi is free which is nice and at the desk there is an Ethernet cable at the desk which provides great connectivity. The lamps and hookup plugs do not have any usb hookups only outlets. This is very surprising for a new, modern, and business friendly location. There is microwave or refrigerator in the room. For the rates paid one would've expected a basic item like these. Even most two star places have them. Disappointed about this. So if you want a cold drink you are forced to go to their market or a vending machine. No restaurants are within walking distance. The location is remote, but has quick interstate access. This was a plus. However, the hotel is not near any attractions or activities. The walk in closet is nice and relatively large. In order to get ice from the ice machine, you have to use a room key, that was annoying. The curtails were modern and had a sheer curtain as the main curtain piece. Looks pretty and in the day is nice, but at night you can't pull the heavier curtain over the sheer piece. Didn't seem like an issue until at night. Outside the window is the parking lot and tall lights which shine right into the room, so it's like sleeping in daylight. There was no way to resolve this which sucked since you couldn't get the room dark. Requested a first floor room when making the reservation. The hotel was virtually empty and a first floor room was not available. This was extremely disappointing!! For the price and expectations, the hotel wasn't worth it. read more

BEWARE: I was accused of smoking in the room. I dont smoke. I lost my job over this. Only evidence they have is two employees who dislike me claimed my room smelled like smoke. I tried speaking to manager to clear this up and was given the run around and was refused to be transferred to someone higher up. I will be speaking to lawyer about this slandering. read more
