Had to switch over to the Springhill after finding multiple baby roaches in my room across the way at the Fairfield. The transition was smooth and easy. I thought they would be sold out because of the soccer tournament but they had a room and I was so happy. The woman at the front desk was so nice and very accommodating and the room was definitely more clean and didn't smell nearly as bad as the other room over at the Fairfield. The rooms here are definitely older and in need of an overhaul but it was doable. The air conditioning was very cold and the rooms were comfy enough. We did have an issue and it was actually kinda weird. So we were away at the soccer tournament but we had our DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. When we returned from the tournament, housekeeping was in our room. I walked in and she was making beds. I had also specifically asked the front desk to be sure that housekeeping did not enter the room and she put that on our account. So when I entered and explained to the woman that we didn't need housekeeping, she didn't leave. She kept making the bed. She also had the cart in the room. So I went to the front desk because maybe there was a language barrier. The woman at the desk was apologetic as she went to tell the housekeeping staff that we didn't want the room cleaned. She returned soon after and told us we could go back to our room. My daughter only had a short time to get in a quick nap and get into her next uniform for the next game so we really just wanted to get in and cool off and relax for that short time. Anyways, aside from that, the stay was fine. I didn't see any bugs and overall, the staff was friendly and main areas were clean. Rooms were clean but dated. read more

I'm a platinum level member of Marriott and typically don't review the hotels but this one deserves a review. This was By Far one of the nicest Marriotts I have ever stayed in customer service wise. the staff was amazing in every step of the way! great job team! I am in a Courtyard hotel tonight in another town (which is supposed to be a higher level hotel) and their customer service is it to on the scale of one to 10. Great location, just east of the 75. This is one nice place inside, with a large breakfast area, nice lobby, and large rooms. Our room had a separate area for the mini kitchen (that included a mini fridge and microwave) and bathroom. They were in excellent condition, very modern. The bed was very comfy, and the TV had lots of HD channels. The morning breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, cereals, bagels, and many other items. The coffee however was very weak, they need to fix that. Perhaps add a bolder flavor as well. The fitness center was small, but the outdoor pool area was huge. They even have a separate quiet area to make a BBQ. I have to mention that Pete at the front desk was outstanding checking us in and supporting us when the internet went down for a bit. He has a great attitude and is very thorough--it's nice to see such great customer service! read more

My first impression of seeing the property, it's going to be a nice hotel. I arrived and it looked nice on the outside. I go in an the front desk staff was just horrible. No one smiled. They spoke and acted like zombies. They were not helpful or friendly in any way. They were rude. The room was ok except they left feather pillows on my bed when I informed them that I had severe allergies. They sent housekeeping up and she would not look or speak to me. She made grunting noises, which was weird. My remote had no batteries. They did send a maintenance guy up and he was the sweetest and only nice person on property. I called reservations and they made me another reservation since the lady up front was not help (I did not know they area and did not want to have to move locations) and they told me it would be honored but when I went to the front desk, the manager was as cold as before and the person the day before and she cancelled my reservation. To make things worse, they took my rewards off the room so I got no points. I have no idea what was wrong with those people but I am glad I had to leave. I booked at a nice hotel down the street. I was much happier. . It is getting three stars because it's clean and nice. The pictures are mainly pros but there are some cons.... big important ones... I will never be back. read more

Stayed for 4 days, hotel was clean and very quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. Shower had constant hot water and great water pressure. The only issue I had was the cookies not being hot and fresh like usual. Breakfast is pretty standard for this hotel brand. Good area, convenient to all the highways. read more

So finally getting around to reviewing my Naples trip in February. Picked this hotel without really understanding the Naples area, on the map it looked pretty central to a lot of the things I had planned. Hotel seems fairly new and is right next door to two other extended stays so figured there would be food, etc in the area. WRONG..... this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There are no bars, restaurants or shops onsite at any of the hotels, or within a short walking distance - everything was a drive. Going to the Vanderbilt beach area was like a 30 minute drive which was a giant PITA. Really small pool area with 3 tables so not much to do at the hotel, if you need a random hotel not far from airport or highway this is a good place, otherwise find something with some life nearby read more

I travel frequently and have stayed at many Springhill Suites locations and I have to say, so far, this is a great one for business travel. It is the small things that truly make it for me. The light with the dimmer over the bed, two side lamps with outlets for easy charging, a solid partial dividing wall, the cabinets for the microwave and fridge, the added ledge on the sink area, and the closest and dresser. Downstairs they have a full buffet for breakfast which included scrambled eggs with southwest potatoes and tortillas (can we say breakfast burrito?? Pastries, yogurts, granola, waffles, juices, coffee, and I'm sure much more. The staff was welcoming and the facility clean. The signage was not illuminated outside so finding the place might have been a tad difficult had it not been for the gps navigation in the car. Upon check in I asked if mobile keys worked at this location and I was assured by two people it did. It did not work on my room (318) and when I went back to the front desk they said they fixed it but gave me a physical key just in case (I left other keys in the room as mobile key should have worked). The mobile key still did not work. The parking lot is on the smaller side and the back door that leads to parking is not near the elevators at all. I will stay here again and hope the mobile keys will be up and running by then. read more

NEVER AGAIN, BED BUGS!! Two night stay on Father's Day Weekend, Friday, July 14th - Sunday, July 16, 2019. Check-in was fast and the front desk attendant was courteous. Upon arrival the room appeared clean. I had no issues Friday or Saturday. Sunday I woke up to marks on my chest. Which appeared to be bites from an insect. My husband thought it was an allergic reaction to something, but I thought otherwise. We went down to have breakfast which is decent, I've had way better continental breakfast at other hotels. Back in our room which was 208, I felt in my gut that the marks were not from a allergic reaction and proceeded to inspect the sheets and found BED BUGS! We checked out immediately and left all of our beach towels. Refused to take those homes. I spoke with the front desk attendant and she apologized and gave me credit for 1 day. Thank God my two babies had no bites but I will never stay at this location ever again! Beware of the bed bugs! read more

Really enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites. The hotel is conveniently located by the Fort Myers Airport. This proved to b e handy as our flights were cancelled twice due to weather conditions up north. The hotel was spotless. There was a man walking around wiping down every chair in the outside lounging areas: near the fire pit and also near the pool area. He seemed to take his work very seriously and with the pandemic it's appreciated. We ordered a room with two double beds and it was very sociopath. Had a frig like most hotels now. The front staff were terrific. There's a gem of an employee named Rachel who helped us out when needed. The kitchen staff changed up between sausage and ham for the continental breakfast. This was appreciated by my husband. read more

I stayed here on a weekend trip to Naples with my family. The hotel was very nice and modern. The location left a little to be desired because it's about 20 min. away from anything & there isn't much nearby (other than another Marriott hotel & a small park). The breakfast was good with a fair amount of options. The room was also very spacious and clean which obviously I appreciated. The main reason I'm taking a star away is because of the staff. I hate to be that person to call people out because I know from person experience that customer service is a hard job, but I was there for 1 night and 2 of the staff members gave me a weird vibe. The first encounter was small, but it still rubbed me the wrong way. When I checked in the man at the desk chuckled and gave a weird look when he clarified that I was using the room for one night. I honestly don't know if he was implying that I was either being cheap or if I was using the room for "something else" but it was a little weird. The second encounter bothered me a bit more. I was in the lobby with my brother looking for utensils so we could have a meal in our room. When I asked one of the staff if she had utensils she looked in my grocery bag, saw that I had butter inside and said to my brother "I wonder what she's gonna use that for." Now my brother & I don't look alike so she probably thought we were a couple, but even if we were that's not an appropriate comment to make to strangers. Like, seriously ew! read more

I have been a Marriott Rewards Member for 20 years and stay at various Marriott brand hotels all over the country. This hotel has to be the worst of any Marriott I have ever stayed at. 1. No electrical outlets on the desk. It's 2019 and we still have to crawl on our hands and knees to plug our laptops in? 2. The desk chairs are too short and are not height adjustable. 3. The TV programming sucks. 20 channels with a worthless guide. 4. When you start the TV, there is no sound until you shut it down and restart it. 5. When turning on the shower, the lever that switches the water from the faucet to the shower head does not work. 6. The thermostat is not illuminated and is impossible to read. 7. The Fairfield Inn across the way is not much better. 8. I realize it's the busy season, but $250/night for this lame hotel is ridiculous. read more

Upon arrival, learned hotel is completely closed and falsehood is being knowingly employed to draw customers to a Fairfield across the street. Reservation was non-refundable and non-cancelable. Not the Marriott treatment to which I have become accustomed. Would prefer honest, truthful treatment. Now distrustful of this property and doubtful of the Bonvoy appgenerally. read more

Prior booking through hotel.com I called the hotel directly to make sure the accept emotional service dog and the confirmed that they do , we drove 2 hours with the family just to arrive at the hotel and get rejected and been told that my emotional pet is not welcome. Made me go to a different hotel pay triple the amount because it was last minute, made my family stress and agony. Very poor customer service. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Well the 3rd visit during Labor Day weekend was the charm. They had the correct room booked and available. The room was clean and fresh and all amenities were available and working. It was very quiet considering it was a holiday weekend. The management staff was fresh and appeared excited to be there and working. The small gym and pool are basic in design bit fit the requirements for an overnight stay. The morning complimentary breakfast was nice and offered the right amount of options to fill all the families different taste buds. The only challenge remains the location and signage. This hotel is literally blocks from Alligator Alley extension. When getting off the highway, you need to turn at a non-descript street and circle back. read more

The walls are too thin. You could hear everything. While sitting in our unit, we could hear a male guest from another unit urinating before flushing their toilet. We heard this from the main room of our suite. We later on could hear someone yawn. Do get me started about how loud the doors and elevator chimes are. The staff here is amazing! They are so helpful and kind. There is a free breakfast and that is very important to a family of 5! Its close to the beach and stores . What a rip off!! Just paid $227 a night to stay here in the middle of no place. Have stayed here many times before while visiting friends in Naples. Never again! Lamp shade broken with cracks in it. Cracked tile in the shower. Yes it smelled like a clean room when you returned. We're staying at the Bellagio in Vegas cheaper than staying here!! And it's not in the summer!! We're Marriott people and Springhill is pricing themselves out of the market. Don't even offer you a bottle if water to their elite people! we earn our staus on us paying for pleasure trips. not a business person racking up nites on company $!!! Maybe for every inch of snow in the country they raise the price another $10!! Also forgot to add we heard a humming sound on and off that sounded mechanical even though we were very far from elevator. Went to sleep perfectly healthy on the pull out couch in our suite. Woke up with INSECT BITES covering my arms, legs and neck - so itchy wanted to peel off my skin. After an emergency visit to urgent care Dr. treated me for BED BUGS. 2 injections, pills and a week of meds to get venom out of my system. Hotel Manager totally deplorable and heartless- insisted on sending me the report for my records from their BUG Company indicating no evidence of INFESTATION. One does not go to bed totally fine and wake up eaten alive for some unknown reason. Manager Tracy Arman did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to appologies or compensate in anyway for my MISERABLE AND EXPENSIVE STAY. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL run away quickly from the nasty creepy crawly and horrible customer service. Marriott should be ashamed of the way this was handled. Unconscionable. read more
