I honestly think 3 is such a fair rating for this hotel, in its current shape. I kinda wanna do two but I'm betting on potential if anything. First, the front desk service was pretty good. The folks were helpful, and responsive. We needed to move rooms and they were accommodating. We didn't receive any housekeeping during our 4 day stay. Because they were short staffed and the time of night (it was abt 10), we had to move the crib ourselves, which fine- i get that but also why am I having to move furniture in your building? Idk. Next, the crib. Zero stars for the crib. It's like a cardboard with plastic over it. Marriott executives should put their own kid in these and then approve them. For 350+ per night, it's the audacity for me!!!! I ended up adding a bunch of blankets and sheets (hello choking hazard- hello liability!!!) so my kid could sleep in there. The room itself felt tiny. We had a suite. The bathtub would not drain (see pic). The carpet situation was rough, it looked old and definitely like its past time for a switch (pls don't ever do carpet again) The kitchen was a nice decent sized addition. Overall the suite felt small. The furniture was also really dirty. The 'free breakfast' was okay. Whip cream would be a nice consideration :) The pool was nice, along with the hot tub. For the value and experience, I would be unlikely to return. read more

I was in Naples for brief stay. The hotel room was upgraded for me- the cost was $305 a night. The hotel so outdated that the up and down buttons on the elevator were missing. There is old carpeting and the hallways are dark and gloomy. The room was adequate in size but very old and outdated/ The tub was old and dirty. Baseboards needed dusting. This whole hotel needs an upgrade and redo/ it is not fitting of Marriott standards in my opinion. The only positive was the breakfast and lovely patio by the pool. Otherwise stay somewhere else! read more

It's a bit dated and needs some work. My pet peeve at hotels are if the tubs don't drain properly and fill up with water while you're taking a nice shower only to have your feet covered in nasty water. Our room had this problem and I couldn't wait to leave the hotel. Our bed and pillows were horrendous and it was a horrible sleeping experience. The pillows were literally like stuffed with comforter stuffing or something lol they were sooo uncomfortable. We stayed from Friday evening to Monday morning and the same trash that was outside of our neighbors door when we arrived there was still there when we left on Monday morning and we had seen several cleaning staff pass by so not really sure what that was all about but it was pretty gross and careless. Would I stay here again? Maybe in a bind only. read more

My brother and I stayed here for three nights. We chose this hotel because of the convenient location to the beach and our friends that live in Naples. Naples hotel prices are expensive and this hotel offers a balance of price, location and spacious room size. The room and some common areas have some scuffs and wear and tear however none of it was a deal breaker. Our room was huge and the Airconditioning was powerful and kept the room nice and chilly- just the way we like it for sleeping at night. The fridge had a powerful ice maker that cranked out a full bin of ice overnight. Parking was free and easy our entire stay. I prefer the control of self parking and the ability to drive at will. Another plus is that they don't have resort fees like other surrounding hotels. The free included breakfast is rudimentary but Covid safe with all items individually wrapped. The downside is the amount of plastic and packaging waste going straight into the trash. I wish that they would cease using disposable plates, plastic utensils, plastic cups etc.... and provide recycling bins throughout the property. The beach shuttle was suspended due to covid however gorgeous beaches are nearby and the front desk provided loaner umbrellas and beach chairs which is a great feature and appreciated. The hotel pool is small but sufficient for splashing around and cooling off. The complete staff was friendly and efficient the duration of our stay. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again. read more

A pleasant and clean hotel. Close to excursions and things we wanted to do in beautiful Naples and the surrounding areas. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms, full kitchen, living and eating area. Check-in, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were all friendly. There were two kinds of lemonade in the lobby!! Yum! We asked for extra towels and they came quickly. The pool was fun for the kids. They also enjoyed the pickle ball court. Breakfast contained waffles, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, juices, cereals, eggs and bacon, sausage, etc. The eggs were so salty both days of our stay but everything else was fine. A couple things to be aware of: there is only one thermostat in the suites so adjusting all the areas to be the same temperature was not possible. The other is that our room was right next to the back door that is accessible by room key. People banged on the door to be let in and that was annoying at night. Not the hotels fault that guests are inconsiderate and rude. All in all, I would stay here again. read more

Visited for Labor Day weekend and even though the location was ideal the staff was not. My husband and I contacted the front desk because there was no water coming out of the shower. Her response was that it was common for it to happen if other rooms were showering as well. We had dinner plans and had just come back from the beach. They didn't offer any sort of compensation or change of room. I would not go back there. The building was super old and had a funky smell. Honestly wished it would've been better. The pictures online were slightly deceiving and many of their amenities are closed due to the pandemic. Rooms were large and contained kitchennetts which is expected for a residence Inn. However, rooms were very outdated and the shower did not work. They attempted to cover up the dusty carpet smell with a ton of air freshener. The bed was very comfortable and there were two TVs in a one bedroom with internet capabilities. Breakfast has been reduced to cereal, yoghurt, bagels, and coffee. The shuttle is currently not running to the beach. The pool and gym are open. However, the pool is much smaller than we originally thought. There is really only space for one family. There is one BBQ and one family was having a large poolside family causing other guests to not be able to enjoy the area. The hotel is located near many restaurants and shops but it is on a busy street so I don't recommend walking in the Florida heat. They do have free parking and internet. read more

We originally booked at the Marriott Court Yard because the area was completely booked. But we arrived at the Hotel, we chose to see if the Marriot Residence Inn at cancellations. I love Marriott Residence Inn where I have stayed often in many different cities. They are roomy, have a kitchen area, living area with a Flat screen on a swivel and breakfast is included. The generral manager Jeff, was very accommodating and provided us the only room available before it was taken by online booking. This place is a dump - I clearly was in a rush and didn't take the time to read the individual reviews before booking but just looked at overall rating. Our room stunk - it smelled and was so dark and creepy. The furniture was literally falling apart - see pics. The couch was made out of some sort of plastic ?!? I found little tiny bugs on the bedside table in the morning - We left by 7:30 am - couldn't get out of there fast enough. Yuck. Dirty, outdated, our floor (the 1st floor) stank of cigarettes even though the entire property is non-smoking. Felt like the photos were very misleading, it's very dark and depressing, not light and bright like the photos appear. Staff also didn't wear masks, they were around their necks, which is pretty gross around a breakfast buffet, not to mention just general Covid concerns. To top things off, we booked with points via phone, they charged our card we had to put on file for the entire stay. When we pointed out the mistake they said they cannot retroactively apply points. Won't be returning. Pay a little more elsewhere and enjoy your stay. read more

I only stay in Marriott's and this one is nice. Very clean rooms and large suites. The pool area and hot tub are very nice. Looks similar to a resort. Staff is friendly. I wish they had a member lounge for gold and platinum members. Those are always nice. But as gold or platinum you receive a free beer or wine when you check in. No bar on site. Free breakfast in the morning which is your normal breakfast. Lots of parking that is free. read more

I booked a reservation here for 7 nights so that I could explore Naples. As soon as we got to the lobby we knew this was not the place as per the pictures. When we arrive at the room it was like we walked into a terrible dream and checked out the following morning because I had already paid for the night. The room had an odor, it was dark and the furniture is old and dated. We didn't sit in the chair because we were afraid of bugs or other insects would bite. The cooking area was so old that the grocery we purchased was placed in the refrigerator because we weren't sure if there was a rodent issue. We stayed here for a month straight during the height of the Covid19 pandemic while assisting the nearby Preserve with fire suppression efforts. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were super accomodating to our changing schedule. Helped us when we were expecting mail and deliveries. Their facilities are clean and organized. Cant say enough good things about the staff!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

What an Excellent Residence Inn. We are seasoned road warriors and there is one thing you learn first off, your hotel is important. You need a place you feel comfortable and can relax with nice staff and that is clean from the moment you walk in the door. The Residence Inn in Naples, FL fits the bill. The staff was friendly and helpful. We needed an accessible room and were happily surprised that they had all the correct bars mounted to help a person in a wheelchair get around in the bathroom. They had a nice roll-in shower with a folding shower chair and a very long shower wand that made taking a shower easy. They also had the forethought to have a lower shower wand holder installed so even someone sitting can put the wand in a holder instead of having to lay it on the floor and it spray everywhere. The kitchen was equipped for someone in a wheelchair along with the closet, the sink area and the peep hole. One might think all hotel rooms would be set-up this way, but that is not the case. They also were kind enough to have a crane that can lower a handicapped person into the pool or hot tub. They truly thought everything through. We had to do a lot of business while on-site so we had several packages come through. The front staff was wonderful about letting us know when they came and made sure we got each and every delivery. The front desk staff was also very good about helping us locating places to eat and various other businesses we needed while on-site in Naples. As with most hotels nowadays, they provided a free WiFi but it was very nice they also provided a faster paid service that allowed someone who is a heavy user to purchase the faster service that allowed for downloading and uploading larger files. As we are IT Contractors, our connection is important to us so having the option was a great advantage. The hotel was clean and provided a nice breakfast in the morning. While we didn't go every morning, it was nice when everyone we getting ready for work to just drop by for a quick bite before heading out. Their evening get-togethers also included a BBQ night and a Wine and Cheese night. All very well done. We appreciate Residence Inn for accepting dogs. Ours travel with us, one a service dog and one a therapy dog. It is nice to have a secure a safe place for them to stay while we are traveling and the Residence Inn is always very accommodating. If you are looking for a home away from home, this Residence Inn is an excellent choice in Naples, FL. You are walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores as well as in a good place to reach everything in Naples. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and well set-up! The worst Marriott experience ever. Manager Arman was not helpful to handle extraordinary situation and was instigating the conflict between us clients and staff. Our room was cancelled by hotel as a no show despite us communicating to them by chat and phone about our issues with flight and our late arrival. Naples property manager never showed us the policy that allows hotel to do so. We ended up with no room in the area. Staff absolutely not willing to do their job and cares less about clients. This property has no effective and client- oriented operations. It is below Mariott standards and significantly affects Mariott reputation. read more

The Room: Average, Old Establishment Note: Place would not be in business if in any other location (feed off tourist business). Need total remodel from top to bottom. I checked out the preview pictures provided and our room looked 'nothing' like ones pictured (our room was a lot worse). No kitchen or sitting area in our room. We paid the going rate for a suite room and when checking out, got a refund on a portion of the room rate. We mention the horrible smell and was told that was an ongoing complaint. I wish I could give it 0/5 stars. The WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. Mold smelling rooms and i mean the most terrible smell ever. I tried to open a window to air the joint only to figure out the windows have so much dirt in the tracks that they dont open. The hallways and room smell as if the previous person had smoked 10 packs in the room. The showers have no drainage so if you stay here enjoy having pooled water in the bathtub. There is black mold throughout the entire room, could be the reason I woke up with a headache every morning. The furniture has huge stains on each piece which makes me wonder when the room was actually cleaned last. When I pulled back the sheets to get into bed I was in disbelief to find not one but two hairs that did not match my head. The front desk acted shocked to hear these complaints. Then I went on to read the reviews, and all the reviews were the same. I should've read them before booking a stay here. This so-called "hotel" should not have the name Marriott written on it. Although I know most Marriott Residence Inns attract couples or business people who are looking to spend an extended period of time in one area, and the Residence Inn Naples seems to be no exception, it was a delightful place for me and my family to stay during our one week March vacation. Having never stayed at a Residence Inn before, my family and I were surprised to find that the free breakfast offered everyday is quite extensive. Standard hot breakfast foods, including pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, and homefries are offered in addition to the traditional continental breakfast fare of yogurt, cereal and toast. Coffee is free flowing all day. Three nights a week happy hour receptions are offered in which the patrons of the Residence Inn Naples take no shame in making their dinners. Full plates full of nachos and pretzels on game night, cheese and crackers on manager's night, and hotdogs and hamburgers on bbq night act as dinner for a large crowd at the Inn. Also, wait for it... free beer and wine on these nights. Granted, the beer is Miller light (yikes) and the wine is probably transferred from a box to the wine pitchers mere seconds before being poured into my glass, but I don't care. It's free! (I want to also mention the wonderful staff at the Inn. The women who work in the kitchen are very friendly and eager to provide you with what you want. Although I had less interaction with the people at the front desk, the few times I did converse with them they were very helpful and friendly!) The courtyard pool area is also quite nice. Although the Inn isn't located on the water, they clearly make an effort to make their modest pool and hot tub area enjoyable to be in. It is clean, well landscaped, and there are plenty of lounge chairs for those lazy afternoons you don't feel like trekking to the beach. The fitness center and computers with free printing are also a really nice touch. All equipment is in working order and although the internet here is quite slow, the free printing makes up for it. The rooms are also quite nice. We rented a two bedroom, two bathroom suit. The kitchen was well equipped (lacked a blender though, tisk tisk, how are we to drink our margaritas?) and helpful for stocking up on diet coke and triscuits- the essential beach snacks or for cooking a meal when you don't feel like searching yelp for another good restaurant to try. Three TVs in the whole place, two large closets, living room, and dining room table. The one complaint I had with the room - the sofa bed. Dear lord, is it uncomfortable. I suggest purchasing a good enough sized room that none of your family or friends must be subjected to staying on a Residence Inn sofa bed. (I'm being dramatic, someone could probably sleep on this for a night or two without major issue.) Also, although the Inn is located on Tamiami which is a pretty busy street, the neighborhood feel safe and is conveniently located next to several grocery stores and other shops. I went running around the area almost every morning and never felt unsafe or even out of place. Great sidewalks. All and all, this place was great and I would definitely consider come back here to stay. If you're on a budget but still want to enjoy the beach (it's about a mile away) Residence Inn is the place to be. read more

Love the location and this hotel, we stay here often when we are in the area. Rooms spacious and full kitchen comes in handy, even if it is just for snacks and drinks! (So many wonderful restaurants nearby). Full breakfast is nice, drinks available all day. Laundry facilities, Pool is very private considering hotel is right on Route 41 - try to eat breakfast outside in lovely surroundings if the Florida weather makes it possible. Even though it is not on the beach, they will take you to the public beach in their shuttle and they will lend you beach chairs and umbrellas. Lowdermilk Park Beach is wonderful, with full amenities (bathrooms, extensive snack bar, beach rentals). read more

Better than DoubleTree, but this hotel has changed and it's not like what it used to be before. I like the format of the rooms and they give you free popcorn and they have good flatscreen TVs, but there is cold air blowing on you at night and they allow pets. This dog across our room would not stop barking in the morning when people are trying to get sleep. Old fashioned hotel and the quality is not what like it used to be. The place was overrun on the weekend by a group of people. One of the staff said seven people were staying in 2 bedroom units. They kept loading up for breakfast with extra, extra helpings, jamming up the breakfast line. Once they cleared out, it was pleasant again. Avoid weekends and holidays. read more

Service was not the greatest. Arrived a little early but could not check in yet until 3 pm (which was understandable since check in time is at 3pm). We left and came back at 3:30 pm and our room was still not ready. When our room was finally ready, our room keys did not work. Had to go back to the front desk to get our room keys fixed. Meanwhile the young lady at the front desk with red hair kept giving us glaring looks. Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and nice, our room was ready early. We were able to upgrade to 2BR suite. We stayed in the back of the building - away from the road. It was very quiet. Our room had stainless steel refrigerator and appliances. The pool is central. There are cabana/chaise loungers - very nice, in addition to regular pool chairs. The pool gets sun. There is a BBQ grill. Plenty of free parking. The staff is very nice and helpful. The reason I am giving 4 stars - the fitness room is small - only one elliptical, bike, treadmill, not much room for weights. And the breakfast ran out before time was up. Also staff was cleaning up before time was up and while people were still eating. Although the eggs and fruit were good. Overall, very enjoyable. We would definitely come back. read more

This is one of the best in its category of Marriott's hotels. Super clean and cozy, with nice pool, BBq, spa, free parking and very spacious rooms. Actually hotel 's rooms are more suite type than room, with fully equipped kitchen and work place. They got free internet, good breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee throughout the day. We didn't have a chance to check the gym, only to glance-but it looked near and new. The hotel is closed to tons of restaurants and main roads. Definitely good deal for the price they charge, specially in Naples where everything is a bit overpriced. read more
