My family has been coming down to this hotel for the past 14-years and it continues to shine. The lobby and guest rooms were renovated within the past four years, and the restaurant and pool area are rumored to receive an update in the near future, which will only make this hotel even better. The hotel is small so it feels like a semi private resort. It has a solid onsite restaurant and pool. It also provides free bike rentals which we used to bike down to Delnor Wiggins State Park, which is only a short 15-minute ride away. The staff at this hotel stands out as they do whatever they can to take care of their guests. If the rumored renovations to the restaurant and pool area take place, this hotel will easily be on par with some of the newer hotels that have opened over the past few years in Naples. So, give this hotel a chance and you won't be disappointed. It's a wonderful place that feels like home. read more

For what turned out to be my final stay here in April 2022 (my mom died in July) I was thrilled to see how they renovated all the suites. I hadn't been to FL since Jan 2020 due to COVID. From new bathrooms to new floors and new furniture and decor, my favorite suite was delightful. For 10 years I planned my monthly visits around the availability of the king bed/whirlpool tub suite, the largest in the hotel. It was like my second home. We are Doubletree fans and they are normally pretty solid. This one was no exception. Place was clean and had all of the normal amenities. We had a great room with a large balcony and a great layout. It did have signs of age but not bad. The amenities were nice which included a bar, restaurant, pool and beach gear to borrow. Over all a solid spot for a trip to Naples. read more

When a hotel proudly displays their trophy case in the front lobby - you can guess they take pride in their property and their hospitality. Doubletree Naples was excellent from pre-check-in communication, to recognizing my Diamond status and for friendly and accommodating staff. My room-type request was addressed, staff was making every Covid-effort possible and we thought the property was clean and well-maintained. Shout-out to Juan from Texas at the bar for slinging great drinks, running an efficient breakfast and food to-go set-up and for lending us his beach-cooler for the day - thanks again Juan. (Give this man a promotion) Speaking of beaches - the absolutely beautiful and un-developed Delnor-Wiggins Pass state park and beach is just over the bridge from the Doubletree - it's $6 per car to enter - this is a don't miss location. This isn't your usual Doubletree. The price per night probably tipped you off. Really nice property where all rooms are suites. A recent renovation has put new hardwoods and furniture in all the rooms. They have a pretty good restaurant on site, a pool/hot tub, bike rentals, pantry, really everything you need to live onsite if you need to. The rooms are very open and spacious. I paid around $220/night and it was well worth it. Staff are all courteous and a pleasure to interact with. Overall very nice Hilton property. read more

I have stayed at this hotel twice and it just gets better. We had free Showtime and the sweets are laid out so nicely and are so nicely appointed with a little sitting room in the front and an office set up that is sufficient. I also like that they have gotten away from those little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and changed to big bottles that reside in the shower and bathrooms. I was recently in Naples and had originally booked The Hilton come down for the July 4th weekend. I did some due diligence through yelp and noted the reviews for the DoubleTree were often better. So I switched it up and came here. From other reviews prior I had the low-down on- -Free bike rentals (you might be able to bike to the beach, it's maybe 3-5km away? -good breakfast -free beach chairs, towels and toys offered -And lots of reviews for good service I was given one of the larger suites with a nice view to the pool. The pool water was amazingly warm, in fact warmer than the pool. It was impressive. I took an early dinner at the Hotel one night. Michael was a great host. There is a 2 for 1 5-6pm I think nightly on all drafts, and some basic wellish liquors (think Gibley Gin, Grant Scotch, like Absolute Vodka), but whet I most enjoyed was the Grouper. It was Reasonably priced at $21 for the Blackened Entree, and $16 for a sizeable portion of Grouper Fish and Chips. So it really makes for a nice dinner with reasonably priced drinks, as anywhere in Naples in general is usually not cheap. Gold and Diamond member receive a small discount on their bill too which is nice. The Hotel Breakfast was more like standard fare because of C-19, but I have little doubt that when C-19 is not an issue the breakfast as others have alluded it quite nice. Sandra and British Debbie at the front desk were helpful. Sandra with guidance towards beaches and parking, Deb with the printer as I had tax form adjustments to be made. I love Naples and what Collier County attempts to do in having a clean, safe structured society. Within that framework DoubleTree fits right in. read more

A fantastic day from start to finish. The woman at the front desk who greeted me was kind, helpful and flexible and helping me select a room. And what a great room it was! The suites have been completely redone since my last visit and they are gorgeous. Truly felt like I was in Florida with the bright colors, beautiful bathroom, tile, and fixtures, and the lovely porch/balcony with comfortable furniture. The restaurant has a nice choice of foods and is reasonably priced. I wished I could have stayed a week! Only downside is that the price hotels in southwest Florida are so expensive, this property included. But, felt this was a better value given the lovely refresh and sizable suite. read more

Lovely experience, the service in the hotel was outstanding! It smells delicious when you step inside, everything was impecable clean in the room, our housekeeping leave us a beautiful post card in the room telling us that Hilton consider us as Family! And I proudly can say that yes we felt home all the time! Breakfast was delicious and had variety of options, you can decide between fruits, cereal omelets, scrambled eggs, and a many other things. One of the things I loved more about this hotel was that they cared about the ladies that like me always forget to bring makeup remover; in the bathroom they felt a kit that solves that issue perfectly. The hotel was nice and clean. The front staff were polite and professional. We were given one of the newly renovated rooms and it was a great upgrade. They offer a 12 credit for breakfast and free cookies ( they were Great). The only issue with the room was the AC unit. We were offered to change our rooms but it was too much a hassle for us. There is construction being done but the noise level was to a medium. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers close by. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area. read more

Upon checking in we were warmly greeted and given champagne and warm cookies. During our stay, all the staff including front desk, housekeeping, and bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Our suite was clean and very comfortable and included a private balcony. Pool area was clean and comfortable for sun tanning. Exercise room was on the small size but included treadmills, dumbbells, and elliptical machines. Happy Hour is a two for one deal and runs from 3-7 pm. Location is good and 5 minutes from beach. This is a Hilton property so you can expect to be treated very well. I would compare the service to an Omni or 4 Seasons. read more

In town overnight and this hotel was close to our event. Check in was fast and easy with a delicious cookie provided. Checked in online and choose my room ahead of time which was nice. Nice clean room - very spacious 2 bedroom suite with a great amount of space for our family. Bathroom was very clean and it was nice being able to access it from both areas of the room. The pool area was nice - many chairs and tables as well as a large connect four game this kids used. The bar had 2-for-1 drink specials till 7pm which was nice. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next morning. Very friendly staff. Great selection of breakfast items and they were willing to make you any item from the menu. Pretty reasonable for $12.95 a person. It was wonderful that checkout was at noon. We were able to take our time in the morning. Only complaint is I had no cell service the whole time I was in the hotel but I can't really blame the hotel for that. The wifi service was ok Overall a great stay at this doubletree! read more

This place is great. When I was cheating on my previous fiance with my current fiance, we would stay here. They always have complimentary cookies. And! When I finally got caught, they even offered my, now former fiance, a cookie as well. Class act. Rooms are very nice. Room service is great as well. Forget the name of the restaurant downatairs but the eggrolls are phenomenal. Staff is amazing. We visited here enough that one day they upped us to a suite. It was great. Full living room, kitchen, bedroom. The works. If you stay in room #300, avoid the ottoman or at least wipe it down. Or, don't bother. I have no doubts the exceptional staff have already. I am sure a Fan! Front desk was wonderful and made my Birthday a special one with two complimentary drinks and lil welcome bag in my room upon arrival! i was accompanied with my hubby and my 4 year old and we used almost all amenities, minus the fitness room (if there was one) and the onsite Bike Rentals. the pool was big enough for a few families and the hot tub was HOT and all the jets worked. there was no life guard on duty and they had citrus water available (though each time i looked it was never out ) the rooms were very well sized with a separate living room and bathroom and bedroom and the beds were comfy and the shower head had great pressure and hot water. a little drive off the beach and more than 8 miles off to Old Town Naples, but still a great little hidden gem of a hotel with a big name! i will stay at this place again once we get a chance to. read more

I stayed here in January for a conference and was very impressed by the customer service. I had just checked out and was at the front desk, when the manager told me that housekeeping had found a bag of my jewelry that I'd forgotten to pack. There wasn't anything of high value in there, but it had my favorite pieces in there. I was so impressed that they let me know and immediately brought it down to me since I was leaving. The sales manager Asha Brooks was so accommodating and helpful- she's one of the best I've met. Great experience staying there overall- I would definitely recommend it. read more

A great find for a last minute vacation. 2 miles from the beach, and they provided us with beach chairs and an umbrella. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. Fitness room is small but had machines and free weights so I was good. For in the restaurant was good. An extra special shout out to Robin Jill, Hope, and Joanne. These ladies went out of their way to help us plan our days and make sure we had all we needed, in the friendliest way of any front desk staff I have ever seen. Also, Debra at the bar served us daily with a welcoming smile. My only complaint, which I hope they fix, is no pressure in the shower. It is hard to rinse curly hair without pressure. Overall, a most pleasant relaxing stay. read more

Ah, a duel between the conscious mind and the hotel, how refreshing. The conscious mind tells you to make notes of annoyances and base your rating of the hotel on them, but then the hotel lunges with a full on attack of hospitality that forces you to overlook the inconveniences and rate them at a full 5 stars. Touché! My initial impression of this place was grim, I had to walk to the side entrance because their lobby was under construction. When arriving at their improvised desk I had to talk loudly due to the construction noise. All this was enough to knock them down a star but they parried with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience (red or white) and an assortment of infused fruity drinks and snacks. The lemonade was wonderful! To continue with the onslaught of hospitality I received a breakfast for two in the conjoined Charlie Cheings restaurant which I was completely skeptical of at first. Could it be they were offering me a breakfast for two because they had a buffet of dry foods and yogurts with not much else to offer unless you wanted to pay 12 dollars for an upgrade? In fact, it was completely opposite, they had a full buffet of fruit, baked goods, eggs, hash browns, bacon and made to order omelettes; very impressive to say the least. All of this service might already be the confirmation you need to visit this hotel but if your not impressed yet I should mention that they also had a bell boy to great you at your car and help you inside with your luggage ( it was raining so he came with an umbrella), free bikes to ride around town and visit the local shops, free beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, complimentary toothpaste in your room and free coffee/tea/infused water in the lobby. While I have always loved staying at Double Trees this Double Tree has gone above and beyond to make their guest feel welcome. Which is why I will be giving them my business next time I'm in Naples and why you should as well. read more

This DoubleTree Hilton was very cozy and felt like home away from home. We checked in when it was getting a little busy, the staff quickly called in two more staff members, and they were very quick to check everyone into their rooms. We were always greeted with big smiles and was offered cookies when stepping into the lobby. The place was very clean, the bed was comfortable and loved how we had a small living room and kitchen areas. This hotel also has a pool and free parking. The location is conveniently located near (via driving) a Starbucks, Walmart, grocery stores and lots of restaurants. We had a wonderful stay, and recommend staying at this hotel. read more

Loved this hotel. Staff very friendly. Upon arrival we were given a complimentary bottle of wine. Since we don't drink wine we were able to get a voucher for 4 bottles of soda. The room was spacious and had a small living room. Also there was a note on the night stand from housekeeping with chocolates and bottle water, thought that was very sweet. They offer complimentary snacks and fresh baked cookies every afternoon. The cookies were to die for. Lol. The pool area was nice and you can order food to munch on. We stayed 2 nights, it's close to shopping and resturaunts. The front desk staff gets 2 thumbs up!! They were awesome !! read more

Right away, the lady ( so sad I didn't get her name) took me on a tour of rooms, to pick out my own room. She then gave me complimentary drink tickets for the trouble. Stayed a week over Christmas 2014 and overall, our experience indicated that this is a solid place to stay but not perfect. The good: clean rooms, nice pool, friendly staff The mehs: fitness center (tiny and spartan), staff response time, location (close to wonderful state park, relatively far from downtown Naples), value The bad: our stay included breakfast and every morning the service was lousy, the buffet empty and the wait times ridiculous, with long lines and frustrated people. This was not caused by unfriendly staff buy by understaffing. I know it was Christmas week, but this occurred before and after the holiday. Also, the front desk boasted about the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards available. Yet when the equipment was there (half the time) it was in disrepair, dirty and old. (A $100 investment in some chairs and boogies board would go a long way). I'd probably go back for the right rate. read more

Very good place to stay! Just what I expected from Hilton/DoubleTree Suites. Nice suite room, and happy it had balcony with chairs, as we were there on vacation. Room was clean and updated, though the sofa in the sitting room wasn't that comfortable. We got drinks from the bar and took them out to the covered poolside patio. The bartender was great. They do allow smoking outside in this area, but nobody was smoking whenever I was eating there. We had dinner (fish & chips - was great, but had to use wine vinegar instead of malt) and the buffet breakfast (good omelets to order) here. Also had dinner at the attached Charlie Chiang's which was also good. Checked out the hotel's beach chairs and umbrella, and drove up to the Delnor Wiggins State Park beach, which was close. So good, comfortable hotel with good service and convenient North Naples location off the major road. Good value for what you get! read more

My stay at the DoubleTree suites was an amazing experience. Beatrice our housekeeper was attentive and kind as she would leave us hand written notes throughout our stay. Matt who works at the front lobby was awesome and went above and beyond to give us options for sightseeing and restaurants. Overall, the staff was great and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The breakfast options were great and tasty! I highly recommend you opting for the all you can eat breakfast as they offer you a variety of food options. Our servers were Adrien and Alex during our stay and were wonderful! We loved the pool and hot tub - they even provide you with things to use for the pool like the noodles! I will certainly return to that hotel due to their top notch service and of course the unlimited and warm chocolate chip cookies! Great experience with my family. PS. The room was spacious and clean! I travel a lot and typically stay anywhere from 3 star (if I don't care about bouging it up) to luxury resorts. I've gotta say - - when you add up all the little things, I think that this might be my all-time favorite hotel I've ever stayed at (yes, even above the 5-star Versailles style resort in Rome). Why, you ask? Well to put it simply-- the guest experience here is thoroughly optimized; ranging from the obvious big deals, like room comfort and spaciousness, staff friendliness, and awesome amenities--all the way to the seemingly minute details, like a spare blanket in your closet that is soo soft and not shitty like you would would expect, to the fact that the hotel will provide you with necessities like earplugs, razors, water, etc if you're short. What's the icing on the cake? (Well there are actually many, here's one): They offer guests the.most delicious.chocolate.chip.cookies.on.the.effing.planet. Seriously-- as a self declared "cookie monster" I have yet to taste a cookie as delicious as the ones offered here. Even better? THEY'RE KEPT WARM . This might be reason enough to book a night here (or two, or three-- depends on your appetite for deliciousness). Seriously though-- if you're looking for a relaxing stay with no annoying surprises and a hospitality system designed around making guests happy, then this is your place!
