Luxury accommodations to die for on a weekend wine getaway with your friends. Right in the center of the wine tasting room action, these luxury suites were in what just may be the PERFECT location for travelers heading to downtown for a trip. When it comes to vacations, you deserve the best, you have earned it. A Weekend Getaway in Downtown Healdsburg, CA ~ Staying in luxurious suites right on the square with full amenities and ALL of the comforts of home was the RIGHT way to go. Being literally steps from the nearest restaurant and tasting room = Priceless. The beautifully designed suites, each with their own distinct style of decor with emphasis placed on the comfort level of the guest. A premier, independent boutique hotel. The suite has three private bedrooms each room with their own bathroom, a spacious living room, a kitchen, a dining area, and provides free high-speed Wifi throughout. Impeccable hospitality and service were the name of the game here. My ensuite bathroom was a private spa in itself with private entrance to my own soak tub and double shower. This is a romantic place indeed. As late evening fell, I had a soak in the warm calming waters, of my massive tub before...

Ask the Community - Two Thirty-Five Luxury Suites

I see that these suites accommodate 6 people. If we have one or two more people in our party (7-8) can these suites accommodate for them as well? Does the couch pull out to a bed?

Each suite has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six adults in three California King beds. The sofas do not fold out and are not meant to be slept on. For groups traveling with small children, cribs and small mattresses can be provided.

The hotel is also in the square so we walked to dinners and even downstairs to grab wine in the La Crema tasting room.

The man can truly cook. We've tried a variety of his dishes, and each one shows such intention, from the flavor profiles to the textures; and everything is always beautifully presented. It never misses. His congee is absolutely to die for, and those thinly sliced pork pieces with crisped skin and tender, juicy meat are a standout every single time. Check out that pic of burger he made for us for burger week! You can really taste the quality, especially knowing he uses fresh vegetables straight from the garden on the property. That is farm-to-table at its finest. On one of our visits, we stayed in a suite above the restaurant, which made the whole experience even more special. It was so nice to head upstairs after dinner and fully relax in our own space. Our room was stocked with thoughtful treats upon arrival, and we had access to the most beautiful private gym. The pool area is stunning, and we loved riding the bikes they provide to explore the property. I would absolutely stay here again. Everywhere you go, there's curated art to enjoy, which adds such a unique and elevated touch. They also host special events throughout the year. We especially love their summer movie nights, lounging on the lawn with fresh popcorn, wine, and Red Vines is such a vibe. All in all, our experience started with the restaurant and kept us coming back for more. It's made even more special by the team, who consistently make us feel so welcomed every time we visit. Thank you for always spoiling us, Chef. We are so grateful for you. Your talent and skill truly shine, and The Madrona is lucky to have you. See you again soon!

The service was friendly and attentive at every turn--from the front desk person to the hostess to our waiter, all were excellent. The hotel is beautiful, well kept, and tastefully decorated. Prices are a bit on the high side, but that's what I expect from a hotel restaurant, especially in Healdsburg. We will be back!

From the very beginning of the meal, there was a clear sense of precision, elegance, and intention. The opening presentation was stunning, filled with an assortment of beautifully composed small bites featuring oyster, mushroom, sea bream, and a variety of other seasonal ingredients. Each bite felt delicate yet purposeful, showcasing both technical refinement and remarkable balance. One of the most memorable dishes of the evening was the bluefin tuna moriawase paired with strawberries. Normally, fruit in savory dishes tends to feel distracting or overly sweet to me, but the execution here was exceptional. The chefs managed to create a harmony between sweetness, tartness, acidity, and umami that elevated the tuna rather than overshadowing it. It was a dish that felt thoughtful, restrained, and incredibly well composed. The consistency throughout the progression of the menu was equally impressive. Course after course arrived with meticulous presentation and a strong sense of identity. Every dish felt polished and intentional, balancing visual artistry with flavors that were equally compelling. There was never a moment where the meal lost momentum, and the pacing allowed each course to feel distinct while still contributing to a cohesive experience. That said, there was one course that completely missed the mark for our group. The milk and honey dessert, which resembled a sponge cake topped with a whipped goat cheese foam, was overwhelmingly pungent and difficult to approach as a dessert course. The intensity of the goat cheese dominated every other component, to the point where it felt less like a composed dessert and more like being punched by a goat farm. Looking around the dining room, it seemed we were not alone in our reaction. Interestingly, when we mentioned that this was the only dish we did not enjoy, we were told, "if at least 1 out of 10 guests enjoy it, we consider it a win." It was certainly an unexpected response, especially given how polished and thoughtful the rest of the experience had been. Even with that misstep, the overall meal was exceptional. SingleThread succeeds in delivering a dining experience that feels elegant, immersive, and deeply personal. Between the artistry of the presentations, the balance of flavors, and the technical execution across the menu, it remains one of the most impressive three Michelin star experiences in California.

Since I was just in Paris for 15 days, I booked this upon my return so that I could experience the American version of perfection. It is mind blowing how good it is here. Every course and every moment ... feels special and delicious. Americans have definitely enhanced the lifestyle experience. I know I like it in France... and I love it here at home! Maybe a bit more! I'm so proud that this is in our neighborhood. Feeling so blessed in this moment. Grateful for Chef who really makes a difference and really makes something special to remember forever. There were amenities including a gym, pool, and spa. We didn't get to try the restaurant. While the hotel was nice, the price does leave something to be desired. The hotel charges premium prices comparable to what you'd pay for many upscale hotels but did not quite hit the mark. Again, it was a nice hotel but not nearly at the level of premium level hotels like Ritz or Park Hyatt. We really enjoyed our stay here but I'm not sure I'd stay again at the current price point. Unfortunately I was unable to get the upgrade my credit card promoted. We ended up in room 225. The room itself smelled really nice, like essential oils but it was freezing! Our view was of a building and the local park that houses what appeared to be the local drunks and homeless. One guy had a barking dog that he let, bark, bark and bark. The room was relatively quiet during the night but in the morning it was very noisy with slamming doors and people talking. We are big coffee people and noticed we had only 1 caffeinated pod for the machine. We asked house keeping for more and she rudely said she could only give us 1 or 2 pods. Well, alrighty then. I declined and dealt with the lack of pods, elsewhere. I guess my biggest issue was her rude attitude. Sheesh like she was buying the pods for us. There was a lack of toilet paper, facial tissues, wash cloths and hand towels. Made me wonder if the hotel was struggling financially and have to cut back on simple amenities that makes a difference to travelers like us. The location is great and very walkable. There are plant to little spaces spewed throughout to sit and enjoy. The pool looked nice. The bartender, Javier, was a gem and the music in the lobby was very good. We had the olives and nuts. We did not enjoy either yet we were charged $22 plus tip for those. The French fries were good. Make sure to ask for crispy if you don't like flimsy fries. We did not use our breakfast voucher which was a weird setup. They make you ask for the full menu and then order. Cutoff is 10am, which is early. Maybe tomorrow. We still have one more night here so will update more tomorrow.
