My experience & the experiences of many others show a pattern:…read more Blaise Alexander Subaru in PA has become the perfect example of why people don't trust dealerships. Their tactics are consistently misleading, their communication is terrible, and their service department has no regard for accuracy, honesty, or customer safety. * Bait‑and‑switch behavior: They'll tell you one thing when selling the vehicle, then completely change the story when it's time to honor that promise. Even basic issues that were supposed to be fixed "within the first few months" suddenly become your problem once you try to hold them accountable. * Service department that makes things worse: People bring in cars for warranty work and leave with vehicles that barely run--some even break down immediately after leaving the lot. They claim they "test drove" the vehicle extensively, yet Subaru Starlink reveals they barely touched it. The dishonesty is unbelievable. * Constant contradictions depending on who they're talking to: A woman brings in the car? Suddenly it's "dangerous," "needs thousands in repairs immediately," and "the bearings could fail any second." Her husband calls? Magically the tires are fine, the bearings are fine, and repairs "aren't urgent." This dealership absolutely does not treat customers equally. * Terrible communication: Weeks go by without returned calls. Service claims they "don't get messages." Sales blames service. Service blames sales. Nobody takes responsibility for anything. * Pressure tactics instead of real solutions: Instead of fixing the issues they promised to repair, they try to push customers into trading in the vehicle they just bought--at whatever value they decide. At this point, it's clear Blaise is not interested in customer service, honesty, or even basic competence. They have a near‑monopoly in the area, and they act like it. Buyer beware. For your own sanity, drive 30-50 miles somewhere else. You'll save yourself months of frustration, broken promises, and potentially thousands of dollars in bogus "urgent" repairs. I will never purchase or service a vehicle at any Blaise dealership.

Unfortunately, the in-person experience didn't match the start. My sales associate seemed disinterested in my needs; he didn't ask what I was looking for in a vehicle and lacked basic knowledge about the car during the test drive. His primary focus was clearly on how "serious" I was and whether I had a trade-in. While he was upfront about taxes and fees, he repeatedly tried to add a $1,000 "fabric protection" fee, which I had to refuse twice. When it came to the price, I offered to round down the out-the-door total from $26,471 to $26,000--a modest $471 difference for a buyer ready to sign that day. Despite knowing I was already pre-approved through my credit union, they refused to budge. What bothered me most was the pressure and lack of honesty. I was told the car was heading to auction the following week to "get more money," yet weeks later, the car is still sitting on their lot. The associate also failed to show me any other inventory that might have fit my budget, showing a total lack of effort to help me find the right car. I ended up finding a 2025 CX-30 at another dealership for $2,500 less. I'm glad I walked away. If you're looking for a salesperson who actually cares about finding you the right vehicle rather than just pushing a quick sale with "auction" threats, you might want to look elsewhere.

I'll start…read moreby saying I should have purchased a vehicle awhile ago but kept avoiding the task due to past experiences with dealerships and a particular type of salesperson I'm sure I've no need to explain. For many numerous reasons with dealerships in my hometown of Kingston Pa., particularly a large dealership, I thought I'd drive to Williamsport where I work on the hopes that the car salespeople in that area would be as nice and as knowable as the people I work with down there. With that said i was not let down. I've no doubt I could have, and did for a bit, look around on my own without being hounded while being followed. When ready and had questions, I walked in and was greeted by Clayton who asked if he could help me. From that point, any and all questions I had were answered, in great detail. This once every decade experience was awesome. Once I had decided it was a go, I was directed to work with their financial guru, Fred, who had already found me a great interest rate and worked up a spread sheet on that covered everything and anything I wanted to know. Even with this portion of the process, Fred, like Clayton, was very knowledgeable beyond the basic facts presented in the documentation. I drove away from there within a few hours in a new vehicle. The process could not have gotten any smoother given the fact it was the morning after the large 1.24.26 snowstorm. In conclusion, thank you guys, keep up the great work. CC

From the beginning, the salesman who I worked with (we'll call him "John") never actually introduced himself to me or my mother who accompanied me. To John, I'm sorry that I inconvenienced your day: I can tell that whatever you were doing was more important than my large purchase. Once I finally decided to purchase my 2015 Golf (yes, I understand it's not a Honda, but still you'd think if they're selling one, they'd have knowledge), John was unaware and never clarified if it had been recalled from VW's diesel emissions scandal. John also did not know much about DEF fuel and did not help to research the answer. After discussing the price of the vehicle and being approved, I learned that in the final statement they never dropped the price. Therefore, I paid $2000 above what we discussed and agreed - but I understand that this is also my fault for not quadruple checking (after the first 3 drafts were sent back as my name was spelled incorrectly or no suffix was added to my name). Also side note: my car needed an oil change & inspection less than 20 days later. On that note: when I went back to have my inspection, which Fairfield guarantees free for the life, I was quickly sent away without service. I was sent away because I am from Lancaster county and they did not have a qualified inspector there the day of my scheduled inspection, even though it was schedule two weeks in advance and we discussed I was from Lancaster and would need emissions. The employees behind the service counter were truly sorry, however, I drove a bit shy of 2.5 hours (5hrs two-ways) to have this service completed which I scheduled in advanced. I worked with the service folks to get an oil change and they were, again, very polite. However, they could not complete a diesel oil change without their diesel mechanic. Again, this was discussed when I scheduled my appointment I would not recommend Fairfield to any friends or family. As a business, I did not receive satisfactory customer service by anyone's standards. Hopefully this review will reach more customers before making large investment purchase!

Instead of admitting they screwed up the timing in my car, they blame me for a "vacuum leak".My car bucks and shakes at idle, intermittent check engine light etc... And the fault codes always point back too the cam timing being off, which is what the car went in for initially per factory recall. The vehicle ran 100% when dropped off, now I have a hunk of junk that I wouldn't feel comfortable selling to any one with a good conscience. So now I'am forced to go the legal route, this is ridiculous in 2026. You would think a business would try to make it right, instead of pulling me in the office like a middle schooler and yell at me for calling them clowns. But never remedy the issues. Reminds me of greasy car sales of old

When I…read moreended up needing a car last minute they sold me one I was not looking for with many defects I found out about after the fact. The odometer is completely digital and will periodically not display when in use. This is one of the many issues the car has and if you believe it, they could care less once you sign that dotted line. To top it off the finance manager is a complete tool with no redeeming aspects to them. Treating every no I offered as a chance to sell me on something else I didn't need and ended up not helping me in the end. (Shocker right?) If you are looking for a bmw don't go here. Service is awful, selection is worse, and they'll do whatever they can to scam you with a smile on their face. There is a location not far from them that actually gets back to you and has a better selection. Hopefully they close soon because no one is ever on the lot looking at the 5 cars they have for sale and they are way over staffed.
