The breakfast is yum! The staff is nice. The room is very nice and clean. A load of free stuff . Tv ,2 beds , and a notebook

This is very middle of the road hotel, not amazing or terrible. But sometimes that is exactly what you need. The perfect place to rest your head and then eat breakfast before you start another full day. The check in process was easy, the front desk attendant was nice, and the hotel was clean.

What's up: We are on our road trip and our first stop was Redding. It's right off the 5 FWY so it's convenient but can be a bit noisy outside of the building; I didn't hear any road noise from inside the building. Parking: Plenty of parking available around the hotel. There was another building being built nearby so it might be more busy in the future. There were light poles that had plugs in them that we were able to use to charge our EV. Environment: Social distancing guidelines are being followed and masks are required. Once you enter, the check in counter and the Market, is immediately towards your left and the sitting area on the right. Further down is the business area and the breakfast area. They still have free breakfast!! Fast breakfast (breads, muffins, cereal, and oatmeal) was readily available on the counter. There was an option to ask for hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Breakfast hours are Monday through Friday: 6 am to 9 am, and Saturday and Sunday: 7 am to 10 am. The gym was a bit small and only had treadmills and some free weights. What was ordered: - We had two Queen beds (super comfy. Individual soaps and shampoo were available in the bathroom. They also included antiseptic wipes. The room was clean and included a microwave and mini-fridge. There was also USB plugs in the alarm clock) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Our stay was fairly comfortable. Having free breakfast was definitely a plus and being able to charge our car was extremely helpful. It was a simple and decent stay. Credit cards are accepted.

Did a quick overnight stay to break up our road trip and this place had everything we needed. They gave us a free upgrade to the king suite with jacuzzi tub, room was clean and comfortable, and the parking lot had plenty of space. The free breakfast had great options for people with special diets. I was planning to skip the bread section altogether until my husband pointed out that they had individually wrapped gluten-free bagels (which were also dairy, soy, and nut free) and those bagels were delicious! They also offered vegan sausage and oat milk, among the other typical offerings (pork sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc). We'd definitely stay here again in the future!

The Good, Truck Trailer parking at the north end of the hotel. Breakfast served in the morning, and happy hour, unusual for Fairfield. Easy on and off highway 5. I stop here when i'm headed north. The Bad, the odd numbered rooms face highway 99. Even as a Marriott Elite, i get a room that sounds like i'm on the median of highway 5. To be fair, Ive gotten rooms that ran the gamut of free upgrades (big bathtub) to this room (125) that feels a notch above Motel 6. The Ugly, only if you believe in science. They, the staff and many of the clients, don't believe in masks. This is probably more reflective of Northern California than the hotel chain. In summary, Its a Fairfield at the north end of Redding CA, not my first (or second ) choice, but it works. A basic (hopefully) clean room with all the amenities you need.

We found this place online. There was plenty of parking. The check in was easy. The room was easy to get to. The room had a little refrigerator and freezer. Also had a microwave. There was a little desk and blow dryer. They had a pool and a hot tub. The breakfast area was huge. Overall great experience and this place has everything you need.

If you're traveling up to five out of California but want to stay in California before crossing into the Oregon border Fairfield Inn and suites is one of the last hotel stops. My friends and I decided to take a trip up to Oregon and since it was along the way we decided to make a stop and rest up. Located right off the freeway the hotel was very easy to fine and their parking lot was decently spacious. If you are driving a EV, like we were, you may be lucky enough to find a 120v plug to top off of a bit. Check in was easy and I was able to get from my into my room within 5 mins. The rooms were on par with other Fairfield Inns I have stayed at in the past. Sheets and the room were clean and there is a ice machine on every floor. The gym was smaller than expected as I can only see four people (pre Covid) working out at the same time. They had free weights going from 2 1/2 pounds to 45 pounds, 2 treadmills, a elliptical, and a stretching rack. They had a filling station for your water but it was empty when we're finished our workout. A nice welcome was a hot breakfast the next morning in preparation for the continuation of our trip. They had coffee, hot water for tea, milk and cereal, a variety of juices, and to go breakfast sandwiches. Due to Covid restrictions hot breakfast was only available if requested. So if you have time, like we did, you ok ask the attendant for a plate of hot food that you can enjoy. For my Pokémon go friends out there , I'm sorry to say there are no PokéStops or Pokémon gyms at this location. Overall a nice stop while on the road.

Nice array of coffee & tea.

The McConnell Arboretum and Garden is a quick walk over the Sundial Bridge. Tickets are available to the events at the McConnell Arboretum. During the winter, they do have holiday lights. During our summer visits, they had lantern of various shapes. We made reservations for a 2 queen room. They gave us what we reserved. It had a view of the Turtle Bay Exploration Park (not much to see from our room). The queen beds were comfortable. The bathroom for our 2 queen room had a tub and shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were the Sheraton special. It was good enough for a one night stay. They do have a fitness room with cardio equipment and weights. It is sufficient for getting a workout in. This hotel does have a lounge for Platinum and above members. Non-alcoholic beverages like soda and water are complimentary. Alcohol is available for a fee. Evening appetizers were typical of Sheraton's. They only had a cheese plate. No dinner like at Marriott's. It was not large and should have been for the price. But it was super clean and very comfortable. Redding does not have a lot of choices and I think the Sheraton knows this and if you don't want to be in a 2 star hotel, you have little choice. The pool was great and it was a hot day so we used it. They have a 24 hour business center which is fine and I needed it. The eatery is just fine, not great. But you will find something you want. This silliness about no one use straws drives me nuts. I actually use a straw so get me one. They have valet or self parking for a fee. They have one nice bar and that is all one needs. I would not stay here for days, but for a couple of days it was fine, just too much money. The outside is super pretty and the lobby is great. I think this place is new and that is great.

I was so happy with my bed and breakfast experience that I definitely will trust my fellow reviewers in the future. First, Janelle was super accommodating and let me check in early because I would be attending the wedding and needed to get ready. She followed up with me on text message as to my arrival time to make sure that she would be there to greet me. When I walked in, I noticed my phone number was coded to the key pad entrance to the B&B. So cool! Janelle was there to greet me and give me an envelope with my key and instructions. I went up with her to the bedroom and needless to say, was so impressed with her style and quality that she brings to her B&B. The room seemed to be flawless in the way that she spent time picking out pictures and linens. The linens were even washed in a very nice fabric softener and didn't have that normal "hotel" smell. I was able to get the Sun Dial Room, and even though it was the most expensive, it was definitely worth every penny. There was a fresh, large bottle of water in the room with chocolates. I had free wifi and a nice flat screen TV. A jacuzzi tub. And oh, did I mention.. the best, most comfortable bed that I never wanted to leave? Top it off.. breakfast in the morning makes me giddy just thinking about it. I had french toast, a vegetable frittata, potatoes, chicken/apple sausage, fresh juice and coffee. Janelle served breakfast promptly at 8:30 and I was definitely there with bells on. Everything was served family style and while eating breakfast you are able to enjoy the company of other guests, which makes breakfast that much more entertaining. For a few bucks more, stay at this bed and breakfast. Completely avoid the Howard Johnson or other chain hotel. You will not be disappointed.
