I had a scheduled appointment for my son at 9:15 AM. I called ahead of time when I realized I would be late in order to reschedule. During that call, the representative informed me that because my son was sick, they would not allow him to come into the office. Instead, I was told that they would schedule an e-visit (virtual visit) for later that same day at 4:15 PM. I agreed to this arrangement based on the information provided. Later, when I logged into the MyChart system for the scheduled appointment, I noticed that it was listed as an office visit rather than an e-visit. I called the office to clarify, and the representative I spoke with told me that I must have "misheard" and insisted that no one would have told me it was an e-visit. I was then transferred to the office manager, Sharon, who also stated that I must have misheard and that no employee would have given me that information. I explained clearly what I had been told earlier, but she continued to dismiss my concerns. When I requested the name of the representative who originally assisted me so I could better understand the situation, Sharon refused to provide that information. The conversation escalated due to the lack of assistance and accountability. Sharon further stated that if I filed a complaint, it would "just come back to her," which gave me the impression that there is no proper oversight or accountability process within the office.

I finally had enough and made an appointment with Dr. Hummel for my son. We got checked in and saw her in no time. She showed concern for my son and was very thorough in her exam. The previous doctor was very dismissive, so this was new for us. We went over several things and she helped with all of them. Our next appointment was for all three of my kids to have their yearly check-ups and a sports physical for my oldest. This time we saw Dr. Palacios. We started with my youngest and Dr. Palacios could sense right away the anxiety that my daughter was having. She has had terrible experiences at the previous doctor's office. We talked about how to help with that, and she recommended some books about child anxiety for us. My daughter also deals with some major constipation that we've been battling for a while. The doctor had a whole plan for us to do, a gentle plan to tackle the constipation. Dr. Palacios then saw my middle daughter. She raised a concern about how big my daughter's tonsils were. We talked about some sleep apnea issues she was having and how the previous doctor never showed concern. She recommended a pediatric ENT and I am so glad she did. The ENT saw her tonsils and said these need to come out now! Had we not seen Dr. Palacios, my daughter would still have sleep apnea, which can be so dangerous. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Palacios for showing real concern and taking the time to help my kids. My son was next for his sports physical. He had some pain during one of the exercises, so she recommended seeing Dr. Decker who handles more of the sports-related issues. We got in that same week to see him, and that experience was great too. He examined my son and had him do some exercises to strengthen his hip which was hurting. The nurses and the front office staff have also been so great to us. Overall, it has been such a great experience. I wish we had switched doctors sooner.

I miss it very much also :( We refer people all the time to him because we truly believe he has a passion and cares beyond any other human being to do what he does. I like his office and his nurse, but the woman at the front desk is very rude and makes you feel as if you've personally offended her in some way. That isn't the reason I switched however, but I wanted to put that in this review because it can be a fairly odd check in when someone is acting like they have a grudge against you. Anyway Dr kluppel is a nice person. I like him as a person, but as a doctor, I have major doubts. He told me my daughter shouldn't be on solids until 18 months which I strongly disagree with and he told me my 11 month old daughter should be eating 32 ounces of formula a day which is excessive for her age and she isn't premature. I saw another pediatrician today for a second opinion and she suggested 16-20 ounces a day and that my daughter should be eating table food 3 times a day.. now my daughter needs to see a food therapist because I waited too long to introduce table foods and my daughter developed a feeding issue.. dissapointed that I trusted this man.

I took my son this month of october 2025, first of all. This facility is super old and doesn't have…read moreany machines etc it definitely does not feel like a medical office. They did take my son's vitals but was misdiagnosed with the flu. They did swab him there and the result was positive? And was told he had the flu the DR tried to prescribe Theraflu and cough medicine although my son had zero! no symptoms of flu, not even congestion or cough. Then he tried to say maybe my son was having anxiety. Which we have never dealt with. My son ended up just having a stomach bug. The reason I took him was because he felt lethargic and had vomited at school. The next day I took him to pediatriciAN, he was already fine and was also tested for flu and he was negative! He did not take any of the prescribed medicines prescribed by Pandas.
