My wife, Winnie, and I have been eating here for more than 10 years. Old owners, new owners, all good. Food is quality and tastes/looks great. Service is just as good. Winnie loves (and sometimes craves) the tuna salad with a side of potato salad. On the other hand, I like their hamburger with extra crispy fries. I highly recommend this Cafe. read more

This is a small cafe in a strip mall in Sebring, FL. There are only a few tables (around ten). You place your order at the counter then find a seat. The staff brings your food to you. My husband had the reuben with a side of three bean salad and I had the veggie hummus wrap. I got sweet potato fries as my side for an up-charge and it was worth it; they were awesome! My husband loved his reuben, too. I recommend this place for a casual lunch. They have a to-go menu, too. read more

Really good chili but definitely need to invest in better paper bags. I was going my to go chile bowl in the bad into my work and the bag bottom ripped open and my styrofoam bowl of chili busted. Thank goodness I was able to save a good portion of the chili but a big mess to clean up at the front door of work. read more

Have been wanting to try this cafe for a while and finally stopped in today for lunch. My wife had the broccoli and cheese soup with a turkey sandwich. Excellent. I had the fish and shrimp special with fries. It was ok. Fries were hot and crispy!! Sweet tea was spot on. Nice and clean and the staff is very pleasant and friendly. I order a Reuben Sandwich and the pastrami was cut up into little pieces and cheese. Could not taste the thousands island or the sauerkraut at all. Also go loaded potato salad it does not tell what's in that but it was in a small container l see allot of place here uses these little containers like for coleslaw, potatoes salad it's kinda cheap that you can't even scoop it out into a small bowl when you in at these places. read more

I have not been to Sebring since Covid. I was hoping that the Cafe was still there. I come to Sebring for work from NY. I stopped by on my way back to the airport. I was looking forward to the potato salad and it did not disappoint. I have never had potato salad that i like as much as theirs. My sandwich was delicious. Wow do I miss the old owners. The food really is not the same quality. Went in and placed order, then waited for about 30 mins for food watching everybody that came in after me get their food. Owner is rude. Sad that this just is not the same clean, friendly place it used to be. read more

I absolutely do not eat anywhere else, I have eaten plenty of other places in Sebring and always end back up here. This place is CLEAN, constantly being wiped down with an open kitchen that you can see into. I'm always so impressed by the quality of food here. HOLY! I was recommended to this place by a coworker of mine, since I was here on a work trip. I walked up to the restaurant and noticed that it was busy with customers, which is always a great sign. I entered into the establishment and was pleasantly surprised of how bright and airy it felt. The decor on the walls and table colors was totally suitable for what I was looking for. I mean, YELLOW is my favorite color! So that's always a win! I was greeted by the sweetest blonde lady, who kept ensuring that she would be right with me - even though there were multiple people in front of me. LIKE how sweet is that! She was attentive to ALL customers, even the ones who weren't even being waited on yet. PLUS! I briefed over the menu and decided on the french dip with a side of cole slaw. I took my order to go, as I was hoping to get back to the office to finish some stuff before an afternoon full of patients. The menu itself was hard to choose - everything sounded delicious. The pricing was great, too, especially for how much food you get. My order took about 5-10 minutes to prepare and I was on my way back to the office. I opened the box of food and WHOA! My french dip was huge. It was honestly the juiciest french dip I have ever had and the cole slaw HAS to be homemade. I'm a big mayo based cole slaw girl & boy, did they knock this out of the park. If you are in Sebring, DEFINITELY do not skip this place. You won't be disappointed! If I am ever placed back here, this will be my new lunch go-to! Thanks Fairmount Staff! read more

THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! These folks need some more Yelp love! Only one review prior to mine is not doing them justice. I'm going to do my part to fix this. Atmosphere- Café is absolutely the right term as this is a bright and airy one-room tiny space that's beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Two tops and four tops in both low and high configurations. A very nice open kitchen. This is a husband and wife operation and they are delightful. She runs the front of the house and he is the chef/cook. Pro Tip- They are open for lunch only, Monday-Friday 11-3. Customer Service- You order and pay at the counter and the wife will bring your food to the table when it's ready. My order took five minutes and was delivered with a smile. Food- This is a straight-forward American style menu with both hot and cold sandwiches and salads. I've posted the menu for your perusal. I ordered the Triple Decker Club @ $8.95. It comes with one side and I went with fries. Man, oh man can this guy make a Club or what! Turkey, Ham, Bacon along with Swiss & Cheddar cheese and of course veggies. Take a look at my picture. BTW- That's mustard sauce for dipping your sandwich! This was a damn fine Club and the fries were hot and crispy. Fairmont Cafe catered Lakeside Dental Arts staff Day of Giving. Their sandwiches where delicious, the side salads refreshing and everything was fresh!!! My personal favorite is the chicken salad! Mike and his staff work hard to create a quality meal and they do it successfully. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I happened to end on this side of town for work and I was looking for a place to grab a quick a bite to eat. I looked and in and it looked really nice, clean and the place was welcoming. I decided on going in and the both the Nissans and wide were working. They were very nice people and I enjoyed my stay and the meal. I had the turkey club and it was good. They closed at 3 and I'm glad I caught them before they closed. I hope to stop again next time I'm in town. The music also made the place feel warm. read more

Ok Michelle, here's your promised review. My wife and I have wanted to go to this little sandwich shop for about 4 years and finally made it just after Christmas. This place is amazingly clean, well organized and feels very comfortable. I had the Rhuben, more than I could finish, I tried and failed, mentioned I'd get a kids version next time. My wife had the chicken and grape salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. Seating is limited to 3 high tops and 7 tables, I assume they fill up fast for lunch considering they are only open from 11 AM to 3PM. The food was very good, priced reasonable, the service was fast and friendly, there is ample parking, and yes we will return. (The Canadians) read more

There is local history here. Keith And Michelle used to have the Tower Restaurant in Lake Placid (90s). The lunch menu is pretty much the same. This little jewel is clean and friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. Only open from 11-3, but it's a place for lunch, not dinner. This small café was a wonderful find on Hwy 27 north of Sebring on the frontage road (strip mall near Publix). It is a solid 4-5 dining experience provided by wife at the register & husband at the grill. Many customers are known by name. You order at the counter, they call your number. Décor is scant/beachy. We waited in line to order longer than we would have liked (due to slow deciders and only one register). The crunchy fish sandwich is huge, crunchy on the outside and soft white (zwai) fish on the inside. The ciabatta bread matched perfectly, the sweet pickle tartar sauce added to the dish. Their cole slaw is A+. My companion got the chicken & grape salad. She found it "bland", but we're Kraft salad dressing types, not Hellman's mayo fans. She felt the grapes should've been halved and more of them and wished for more "bite", like from celery or walnuts. Her coconut muffin was homemade and heavenly. Lunch prices run about $8. We noticed 2 soups (French onion & veg) and 2 desserts (Pies). Everything sounded homemade with a twist and yummy. We will absolutely return our next pass through. read more

What a pleasant surprise! Charming little cafe with hot and cold sandwiches, burger, soups. I had the grilled ham and Swiss on Rye and It was toasted to perfect golden brown crunch. The ham not overly salty and the ratio of bread to meat and cheese was spot on. My side was a creamy loaded potato salad that will have me coming back for more. The service was outstanding.
