The coffee with milk was the best I've ever had, better than Starbucks. Been here twice so the medianoche sandwich was so so (pork was bland). The waiter on the first time (Peruvian) was excellent. Very nice latino-cuban setting and the bakery goods were very tempting.

Their food is so good. I try to go there as much as I can. The service is always point on and the restaurant ambience is very friendly.

Unfortunately, I was really hoping this would be a gem, but I fell ill after eating their Cuban sandwich. Something was definitely not right with the pork. We also bought some beef pastries and guava pastries and were equally disappointed. The beef was unrecognizable with barely any seasoning. The guava pastry looked great; however the dough was dry and tasted old. I can honestly say this was not expected and disappointing.

I gave it a 3 star because when you walk into this restaurant it's hard to get any service. The restaurant looks great I like the decor and the set up. The pastry was cold and it doesn't taste good when it's cold. I kinda wish they would have it on like a warmer so it would taste better.

    Cortadito

Best cortadito I've had in a while and for the small price of $1.50! I will absolutely be back.

i ordered my food through door dash the rice with chicken was okay... the empanadas were decent. but when i went to take a few bites of my cannoli i noticed something green so i opened it and it was covered in mold.. im highly disappointed

This is my family's favorite breakfast spot in Sebring. All the waiters are extremely friendly. Their breakfast never disappoints.

Excellent, piping hot, Cafe con Leche!

So, what can you count on if you visit this fine establishment? You can bet Latin music will be playing in the background. Latin food at low prices. Can you say rice & beans and plantains? That wonderful Cuban bread and lots and lots of bakery items. Overall, you can count on a Latin experience especially at lunch or dinner! Arriving- They are in a large plaza on the northbound side of US Route 27. Look for the Micky D's and you're there! Simple parking with great handicapped spots for those folks that need a little help. Ambience- They are doing the best they can to give you a Latin-like experience, but they are limited by being in a cookie-cutter American plaza! There is an open feeling with booths around the edges and tables filling the center. The spacing is great. There is a bar that seats 6-8 along with a counter that is great for single diners. Latin décor on the walls. Not to be missed are the bakery cases! They are open for all three meals and this visit; I was there for breakfast. Customer Service- A little off this visit. It started fine. I was seated and had a menu and coffee quickly. Placing my order was a minor challenge as I don't speak Spanish, but I expected that and got it done. After my food arrived, I was ignored until it was time for the bill. This particular server needs to do better! Adult Libations- Beer & wine are available. Check out the specialty brews. Food- Breakfast is not a great example of the Latin dishes here as it is mostly standard American fare with a couple of Latin touches. I started with a Café con Leche. If that's new for you, it's similar to a latte but stronger and sweeter and delicious! For my meal I ordered an omelet with ham, onions, peppers and of course cheese. I laughed out loud when I discovered I could have French fries with it! See my pic. It also came with Cuban Toast. The pre-tip tab was $12.50 which is a steal! It came out quickly and yup, the fries were shoestring style and sure looked odd with the delicious omelet that was packed with filling. The toast needed to be browned a little more, but the bread was awesome! I was stuffed. A better Latin experience, with more traditional Latin dishes can be had at lunch or dinner. Overall, definitely worth a visit and an easy 4-stars.

This place is huge. The staff were nice & my items were reasonably priced. I don't go to Sebring often & I had time to kill. So I Yelp the closet place for breakfast and this pop up. It was super close to my doctors appointment. I got my guava pastry & a cafe con leche. I was in and out in no time.

The food was okay. Not very flavorful in my opinion. I like heat and the salsa was very flat. Service was good. And the restaurant was cute.

The Mother-in-law ordered the Denver omelet, and it was just as tasty. A special shout-out to Nora J. for providing excellent, friendly service. She was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. What I really like is that this isn't your typical chain restaurant. Over the last two months, I have eaten at Village Inn in Sebring several times. During those visits, the service was excellent, the food was consistently good, and I was impressed enough to leave a very favorable review. Today, however, was a completely different story. The restaurant was not particularly busy, yet my food took an unusually long time to arrive. While waiting, I was seated near the kitchen and could clearly hear employees engaging in loud horseplay and unprofessional behavior, which did not create a very welcoming dining atmosphere. I started with a cup of the pork green chili, which I normally enjoy. It is usually served with crackers, but none were brought out. When I asked for crackers, a cracker container was brought to the table, but the crackers inside were stale and soggy. When I politely mentioned this to my server, the response was simply, "That's how we get them," before walking away. There was no apology or attempt to correct the issue. When my cheeseburger finally arrived, it was severely overcooked and very disappointing. Everyone can have an off day, and that's understandable. What concerns me most is the noticeable difference between the excellent experiences I've had previously and the poor service and food quality I received today. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because I have enjoyed dining here in the past. For now, though, I'll be taking a break before returning.

Chicanes Promises Upscale Dining but Delivers an Uneven Experience…read more Chicanes carries itself like an upscale dining room, which is why the night's missteps stood out more than they should have. The evening began on a sour note, and not because of anything on the plate. A heavy downpour had turned the entrance into a shallow lake with slick footing, the kind that makes every step feel unsure. My husband took a hard fall, wrenching his back and bruising his hip. Another guest later mentioned the same slick approach, which tells me this is more than bad luck. For a restaurant that draws an older crowd, safety at the door should not be an afterthought. Inside, the welcome was much warmer. The staff was friendly and our server Ethan handled the holiday rush with calm attention. He stayed present without hovering and made sure we had what we needed. If only the kitchen had matched his level of care. The Thanksgiving menu looked promising, but the execution never quite reached the level the price tag promised. The lobster arrived overcooked and clinging stubbornly to its shell. The sauce meant to lift it fell flat. The butternut squash bisque was pleasant enough, though short on depth. The apple walnut salad was a clear winner. Crisp, balanced, and bright. It deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The entrées continued the theme of missed opportunities. The vegetables needed seasoning, especially the Brussels sprouts, which tasted like they had skipped the last step before leaving the kitchen. The potatoes au gratin stole the show, rich and comforting, which only highlighted how muted everything else tasted. For a meal tipping the scale at around $140, the food should meet the standard the setting implies. Chicanes has the bones of a great restaurant. The staff is strong, the room is inviting, and the menu choices read well. But the flavors need more care, more confidence, and more seasoning. A place aiming for an upscale experience has to deliver more than ambiance. There is potential here, but potential is not enough at this price. With steadier footing at the entrance and sharper execution in the kitchen, Chicanes could be worth the splurge. Tonight, it wasn't.

The inside dining room is wonderful! A true old-fashioned tropical feel. Our waiter was a little odd, but competent. I wasn't real hungry, so I just had a shrimp cocktail. My friend had the duck. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the cocktail sauce, a bit spicy. Had too much pepper for me. When I mentioned that to the waiter, he told me it was not spicy. He said it only had pepper in it. I said well after I mixed it was a little better. I don't think a waiter should contradict what a customer says if there is a problem; he should help to alleviate the issue. Obviously, somebody didn't stir the cocktail sauce well, still the pepper was a bit heavy. What's troubling is I specifically asked the waiter if the sauce would be hot , as in spicy. My friend said the duck was very nice. As I recall, they served some complementary bread and it was good. I hope to go back to Palm Heights, where this restaurant is located, and I am sure to go back to Tillies.
