I just finished a very tasty lunch at the Grill. The ambiance was low key and relaxed. We were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The best shrimp tacos! I am willing to overlook the pasty and unflavored "packaged" flour tortillas because the shrimps, sauce and crunchy veggies were so good inside. Husband's Firecracker Shrimp was a generous portion. Shrimps were fresh with mild heat. The Broccoli side was crisp and the rice was bland but fluffy with a pleasant crunch from the sliced almonds. On March 8, I met my two sisters from Mississippi in Tupelo. It was one of my sister's birthday, and we had not all been together but once in 2023. Needless to say, it was a long overdue and highly anticipated lunch! I had called several days before to check out their menu, primarily because I am a celiac and can't have gluten. My sister from Columbus recommended it as she was familiar with the one in Columbus. They did not disappoint. My phone call with one of the managers, McKenna, proved very helpful. Because she herself avoids gluten, she was able to give great advice about options. More importantly, to me, she noted that they had started trying out GF bread so I could have a sandwich if I chose (which I did). And she also went out of her way to make sure that the chef was aware we were coming because McKenna was off the day of the lunch. She also made sure that we had a great booth in this really attractive venue, and, even better, an absolutely fabulous waitress. Sharon gets a shout out from us! My sister's complimentary cheesecake was not only great (she said), but the way it was presented made it especially memorable. My sister's food looked delicious and my sandwich and cheese grits were very good! I don't find myself in Tupelo often as I live in Memphis. However, you can bet that I'll go back to this great restaurant again. Thanks to all the great people there who made it such a wonderful experience. read more

One of the best meals I've ever eaten, and a fantastic price point (seriously, I can't believe the prices are so low). Enjoyed a 1/2 price Martini Monday Cosmopolitan. Perfect. I loved this place! The atmosphere was on the trendy side and the restaurant was small and cozy. Our server was tops. I ordered the chicken piccata. it was a good sized portion, very lightly fried with a delicious lemon caper sauce. It came with a salad, and when listing dressings off I was surprised to hear Asian vinaigrette. I am inspired to hunt down Asian dressing recipes because it was so delicious. The house salad had lettuce, tomatoes, scallions, a bit of corn, cucumber, two cheeses, and bacon. The chicken was served with mashed potatoes topped with a few chives. The menu showed it came with grilled asparagus, but I was allowed to sub honey Brussels sprouts with bacon. Although I would have preferred both the sprouts and bacon a tad crispier, they tasted awesome. My husband had grilled catfish with grilled veggies and a loaded baked potato, and he eagerly finished every bite. For "dessert" I had the death by chocolate martini, with Godiva chocolate liqueur, Baileys and vanilla vodka, and yum--it really hit my sweets craving. If I lived in Tupelo, I would definitely be a regular here. read more

The Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in Tupelo. Our most recent dining experience was our third since they remodeled. The environment is very nice - lighter colors & warmer. It is very noisy, though. We had to lean across the table to hear each other. We ordered the spring rolls appetizer, which is delicious. My husband ordered the salmon & it was excellent, as usual. I ordered the chicken flat bread pizza. I won't order it again because it was overwhelmed by a smoky bacon flavor. Service was poor. Our waiter seemed distracted & disappeared for much of our meal. My husband's salad was delivered by another waiter & we had to flag someone else down to get my salad. After finishing our food, we asked our waiter for the check. More than 10 minutes later she floated by, saw us waiting & said, "oh! You still need your check. I had handed this off to someone else. Haha!" I read the reviews and saw that people really enjoyed the spring rolls appetizer and the shrimp and grits. We got both and they did not disappoint! There were 3 of us and there were 6 spring rolls. We had had a big lunch so we weren't all that hungry. My mom and I split the shrimp and grits. Wow! DELICIOUS!! Just the right amount for us. My husband got the chicken enchilada soup (the Saturday soup of the day) and a salad. He couldn't even finish it all because there was so much. He really enjoyed his too! I forgot to take a picture but trust me, it was a pretty meal. The staff was very friendly and all wearing masks. The tables were separated for social distancing. My favorite place in Tupelo, MS. Would definitely make Elvis proud if he got a chance to taste the Low Country Shrimp and Grits. Seasoned shrimp mixed with grits that go down like warm buttered pudding. The two flavors converge and make a really cute couple in your mouth...ok then. I havent even ordered them yet We started with the Spring Rolls (see pic). Flaky and complexed. They were delivered really hot from a temperature standpoint. But tasty as all get out -- feels funny writing that. Denise really enjoyed her rib eye sandwich. Thumbs up all the way! We topped the night off by sharing a piece of the cheesecake smothered with carmel which was simply to die for -- again feels funny typing that but it is 100% true.
