I purchased a set of tires from an online retailer for my Tesla. I last visited this place in 2011 and was hoping it was still around. I came in with my car during the afternoon and had to wait a bit, but they did an excellent job. Perfectly installed (no damage, not even a scuff or nick). Excellent balancing job. Then they put in the old tires back in my car and wrapped them exactly the way they found the new ones. Today I was impressed with ZERO dollar service. It cost me nothing - despite the work Scott and his team did. THAT shows integrity. A day earlier my flat tire was determined by Mavis Tire to have a damaged sidewall, and required replacement for a virtually new tire - a $180 expense. Scott and his technicians at Performance Tire and Wheel inspected my tires and determined, there is no damage. He had no idea why someone would replace this tire. Not only do they have the whole tire thing down, but they also know their way around the technology needed to reset the air pressure sensors, since these newer cars are really computers with wheels on them. Their work is absolutely impeccable as is the demeanor of their staff. Friendly and incredibly informative, these guys are the experts. The interesting thing is that all of this quality and outstanding service can be had for just about the same or even less than you'd pay elsewhere. I guess if you have a truck or maybe an inexpensive car you can go wherever you want. My battery died at the gas station next door to their business. I was on my way to an appointment, and didn't want to have to wait for someone to drive over to jump start my battery, which would have made me very late. My wheel starting feel as if it was coming off as I was dropping my husband off to the hospital for surgery. I managed to drop him off and make it to Tire and Wheel by the skin of my teeth. They took me in right away and noticed my front wheel was missing a lug nut and that the whole wheel was loose. They fixed it and filled all my airs with tires. When I asked the cost, he told me don't worry about it! I was in an emergency and they so easily could have taken advantage of the situation. I didn't know places like this still exist. They are the best!!! They are also honest and fast. We have been told twice by the car dealership we needed some services on two different cars. And we decided to bring them to tire and wheel, they told us the services were not necessary until a much later time. First it was the brake, the dealer told us we needed new breaks blah blah blah and would cost us $400-500. We brought the car here and they told us the brake was fine for quite some time. Then the second car, we were told we need alignment and tire rotations, $200. Again tire and wheel told us the alignment is fine and we just need to bring it back 4 months later. Brought my 2018 audi s4 to get the wheels balanced because of a slight vibration problem. When they took my wheels off, they found a centering ring from my winter setup still on the hub. So my vibration problem was not a balance issue. They cut right to the chase, took the centering ring off (which took a hammer and screwdriver to chisel off) and got my wheels back on as good as new. Small shop with an attentive owner. Had to come here to have 2 front tires on my 2013 Honda Accord and because of my work schedule had to come on a Saturday. The gentleman / owner was attentive over the phone and pre ordered my tires. He mentioned that Saturday's get busy and it's a first come first serve basis and they open at 8 am. Made my way into their parking lot at 7:45 and was number 2 in line. The owner was attentive and took my car with in 30 minutes and had the new tires installed by 9:00.
