The Best Chinese food I ever eat! The Best Chicken and Broccoli. the prices are very good too!!!! I work right around the corner, and I always grab my lunch there. I dont know what I would do without this place! I popped in here for lunch yesterday. This is one of the better Chinese take-out restaurants in the area. They prepare their meals with not as much oil as you'd usually find in these types of restaurants. The pork fried rice is my favorite. The pork strips are very tender. The chicken with broccoli is fantastic. Their beef lo mein is always well seasoned and I'd highly recommend it. As far as the seafood selection: other than the fried shrimp I wouldn't really recommend anything. I suppose the fried flsh fillets. This place continues to be my regular lunch spot. Growing up in Brooklyn has given me the pleasure of knowing what great chinese takeout is like, and Fairview chinese has probably the BEST General Tso's chicken. The sauce is the right amount of sweet and tangy and their chicken cuts are prime and tender. I'd highly recommend that with some Egg fried rice. I'm glad it is very close to my house. On my first visit I tried the General Tso's chicken w/ white rice and the cream cheese won tons. The general tso's great...not dry or crunchy like some I've had before. I asked for it un-spicy and that's exactly what I got. The rice is also steamed nicely. I have tried Szechuan beef (spicy), sesame chicken, moo shoo vegetable, Szechuan lomein (spicy) on different occasions, and the food is great, prices are very reasonable (just about half of NYC prices) and authentic.
