When I first became a patient at this clinic, I was thoroughly impressed with Brian Allen and the…read morenursing staff. I felt listened to and respected; not something that always happens in clinical settings, and, unfortunately, not something that happens at this clinic.. Fast forward to three months ago. I see Allen for what turns out to be a fungus in one toenail, and I am prescribed an antifungal med called fluconazole. He tells me it can be hard on my liver, so after 12 weeks, I need a blood draw; no problem. So, this week I reach out to try to schedule the lab work, and I am told by a nurse via My Chart that Allen wants to see me in clinic. I replied that that was not needed as all I am seeking is a refill on an antifungal medication. I hear nothing back on My Chart, so I call the clinic yesterday to try to set up a blood draw. The lab tells me they cannot do this without an order, and that they would get in touch with Allen and get back to me. He calls me today, tells me I have to see him in the clinic and that I am not allowed to be disrespectful towards his staff. Right there, the reference to "his staff" told me all I need to know about this guy; his way or the highway, and he is not in the least interested in my opinion. He claimed he needed to ask me some questions and push on my stomach before he would refill the script, then proceeded to tell me we could do the visit virtually-even though he really wants to push on my stomach. Quite odd for a refill request for an antifungal. Part of this clinic's Mission is "together, we're on a mission to empower patients to be active participants in their healthcare." Well, I tried to be active as I can see no reason for a clinic visit to refill an antifungal medication, and I get talked down to and accused of being disrespectful. If advocating for myself is disrespectful, I guess I am guilty. Heaven forbid wanting to forego an office visit that would save me (and my insurance company) time and money as well as the doctor's and "his" staff. Time to find a new clinic.

We have our regular primary physicians, but have been seen by just about everyone on the roster. Every one of them has taken the same time and interest in the reasons why we are there. Friendly, cooperative and they listen (!). The staff are top-notch also. For even as simple as getting a blood draw, their staff hits that vein a lot easier and with more skill than the hospital does. I've also never had any issues with making appointments, or being seen if and when I really need it. Everyone has been and continues to be friendly, cooperative and professional. I can't ask for more.

When you check in you have security that pushes and tries to argue with you to pay your co pay even…read morethough you tell the lady that you've met your deductible for the year . You make appointments with Dr ebertz and Dr bongers they tell you to arrive early yet they are never ever are on time ! They need to schedule and coordinate better . A couple times I went there and my chart was not ready they said they had to make one . This place is back in the day . What big clinic is this and still uses paper charts .

Dr. Kelly, his PA and the TCO PT team were fantastic taking me through a bilateral total knee…read morereplacement. I'd been going to TCO for years with occasional knee issues and other unrelated injuries. My experiences with them were always very good. Great attention paid by the physicians and PAs, and a nice facility as well. Eventually I decided to get TKR in both knees so that I could put the pain and occasional mobility issues behind me. Through the use of their Excel program, everything was handled in one complete package from surgery to overnight recover to PT and all follow-ups. I am thrilled with the care and attention I received and the results were what I had hoped for.

I was told I had to pay 7 days in advance, the amount remaining of my deductible / out of pocket expense. I paid the $4000.00 that was required out of my HAS account on 06-01-2026. The problem is this payment was never relayed to Medica. So to Medica, I still had the full amount of remaining out of pocket to meet. I am getting Medica EOBs and bills where I owe payment even though my early payment for the hip surgery brought me to within $100 of my max out of pocket. I now have the challenge of tracking all my other bills, EOBs and payments and then somehow convey those to Medica and to TCO Excel to figure how to get a refund for payments beyond my max out of pocket total. Taxes may be an issue if it cannot be refunded back into my HAS account (HSA account is tax differed). This is very frustrating. If I could go back, I would not have paid the up front money or would have gone a different route for my hip replacement and not use TCO Excel. I have hand disk replacement in my back, the early surgery on my hip, and my wife had a hip replacement. No prepayment was required for those surgeries and billing was not as confusing or required effort on my part to track my payments.

When I questioned this she laughed and told me the correct address. I admonished her and said it is not funny. I need to arrange transportation in advance and count on the information being correct on their web site. When I asked what the name of the building is to make it easier for the Metro Mobility driver to locate she said Ridge something ... Couple of concerns her. One, it is NOT to much to expect that their web site be current and correct. Two, it is NOT to much to expect staff support and others to be professionals.
