I have been a long time customer of Fairway Golf-and over the last six months I have had two service experiences with them. Let me tell you they have been terrific, fairly and competitively priced, easy to talk to and 100% reliable and have stood behind their work. Most recently they installed four new golf tires and re did my brakes. While my golf cart was in their possession they did several other "small" things just as a courtesy to me-at no charge. Previously they had installed a roof top air conditioner for me and done reupholstery-all done as promised. I had my parents golf cart picked up because the batteries were dead in a used cart I had purchased from Fairway, with a trade in the price was $3,500 for 2009 Lime Green Precedence. I explained that I would like to also put it on consignment to sell since my dad has passed away. They agreed, but I was never given a contract! I followed up several times, wrote emails, phone calls etc. I finally got ahold of the owner, and he said with his cut he would pay me $1,600. He decided this after they had SOLD the cart and I was persistent to get a fair deal. This was first taken in May, 2017. I have never been paid to date and it is now over a year and half! CROOKS!!! Wow, I don't know what all the bad reviews are about because my personal experience with Fairway Golf Carts has been great. I had been looking for a used cart for a long time by watching Craigslist and following up on carts that have been available for sale in my community. Nothing was "me" and anything reasonably priced was junk in my opinion. I was checking Craigslist last week and low and behold there was a cart that was "me!" I replied to the add and Keith emailed me back and told me to call so I did. I went to see it the next day and knew that it was the cart for me after a brief cruise down the street and back. I was comfortable with the asking price but said that it would look really good with a Burlwood dash kit in it and Keith said he could do that for no additional money. Ok, someone might say that he did that because the price was already allowing some extras thrown in but truth be told, the price of the cart was better than anything that I had seen in my community and nothing that I had seen was in the same great condition so I was very satisfied with my "freebie" if you will. The cart was delivered later the same day that I purchased it at no charge. I went out for a ride around the community and had gone over a small bump only to hear this metal rubbing metal noise so I stopped to see what it was. The support bar that attaches to the roof rail behind the driver seat had broken in two and was dangling. After investigating the break it was clear that it had been previously welded and then even taped at some point. I called Keith and told him and he said no problem, I will replace it when I come to put the dashboard in. I have a Bumper to Bumper warranty for a year! I purchased the cart on Tuesday, dash delivered and the bar was replaced on Friday. The dashboard needed some cuts made so on Sunday Keith and his mechanic came and finished up the dashboard and they aren't even open on Sunday! That is customer service as far as I am concerned. Maybe they have stepped up their game since all you negative Nellie's did business with them so discount a second chance. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Keith took really good care of me. I wanted to trade in two old cart for a fast new one. Keith gave me a great price on a super cool cart. Fairway Golf Cart custom painted the cart for me. He installed new custom upholstery, a great sounding stereo system and the rear facing seat system. We "sold" them two golf carts. Got paid a partial check which bounced. Never received another dime from them. Took them to Court where they, of course, NEVER showed up so we won by default. Now, if only we were able to collect. What good is winning if you still don't get paid. By the way, we were told they sold one of our carts!!! Had a terrible experience with "new owner" of Fairway. I bought a controller from them and it never worked since day 1 (cart wouldn't reverse). The owner told me that electrical components do not come with any warranty and they wouldn't do anything about it. I will never do business with them again and make sure none of my friends do either. read more

We brought our cart in to be painted. We were told that the finished product would be "like a new car finish". When we finally got it back after a couple of weeks, it was missing the original snaps for the seat covers, the "Club Car" emblem and the roof apron that was attached when we they picked it up. It was also a sub-standard paint job. There were many blemishes, non smooth spots and it certainly did not look like a "new car finish". We called them and told them of all the problems and they seemed very concerned. They wanted to make it right and so they picked it up in a couple of days and told us we would have it back in a couple of days and that it would be a priority. We are now at two weeks and still no cart. They told us we would have it yesterday after 3pm, so we made plans to be back at our coach and waited....never showed up and never called. I suggest that nobody get even close to this business. They had my golf cart on consignment for a long time and when I went to pick it up it had extensive damage, thousands of dollars not hundreds. After first doing nothing about the damage they took it in for repairs. That's been months ago and they now don't answer the phone, the business appears closed, message box is full, no response from a cell number, the cart isn't at their service location and I have no idea where my cart is. I own a 2004 Club Cart that I bought from a private party that is used but is in very good condition. I wanted to class it up a bit and decided to have Fairway Golf Carts do the work. I ordered new custom seats, all new carpet, a sunscreen, new custom steering wheel, chrome steering column and sun curtain around the roof. They told me they would pick it up on Monday and should have it completely finished by that Friday. They picked it up on Monday but I did not hear from them that week. First thing on the following Monday, I called them and they said it would be done that day. After not getting it that day I called on Tuesday and got the same story, it will be done later that day. This went on for over two weeks, with me having to call them even though they promised to call me with the status. On the third week of continuous calls to them, they finally delivered the cart. They did only half the work and when I asked why it wasn't complete, they said they couldn't do the steering wheel and column because they lent their tool out for that and haven't gotten it back yet. They missed furnishing one full piece of carpet. They missed pieces of Velcro for the top and it was flopping. They missed areas of glue for some of the carpet and the carpet flops away from the cart. They cut a hole in the carpet for the floor horn button and snagged the carpet in two place, leaving (2) 3/8" wide by 10" long slot showing just the backing as the carpet was destroyed. When I asked them about the carpet being destroyed, they said it's only the floor carpet, it should be ok. I told them absolutely not. They finally agreed to replace the carpet. They finally returned the cart again, this time the steering wheel and column were installed but the carpet was never replaced. After arguing with them, they have picked the cart up and was supposed to repair it and return it the same day. It's been two days and no cart yet. I am very frustrated with Fairway Golf Carts and I will never use them again. I saw the bad reviews on Yelp but, opted to use them anyway and now I'm paying the price! I do not recommend Fairway Golf Carts to anyone! read more

I would recommend that no one use this store. I ordered a custom cart from Jason the owner. After he took a 50% deposit, he refused to return phone calls or emails. The cart was promised in 2-3 weeks. After no word, I continued to call and get the run around. At six weeks, I spoke with Ernie, the service manager, who was very nice. He tracked down the cart and when I saw it, it was no where near done. After many calls it was delivered today. Within five minutes, store was calling for balance payoff. Service was poor, Jason is not to be trusted. Go elsewhere! read more

I took my golf cart in to the "Fairway Golf Cart" repair shop a couple weeks ago on Country Club drive because the motor brake on my EZ-GO RXV was not disengaging. They said they would analyze it and call me back, they never called me back. So I went there a couple days later to check on it and while I was waiting up front for someone to help me I looked in the back and there was a guy on his cell phone, just standing there. I intentionally walked by the motion sensor again to have it ring the bell in the work shop area to alert them that a customer was up front, I heard it ring in the back. The guy on the cell phone just stood there. Okay... He finally came to the front, had no idea who I was or anything about my golf cart, blah, blah, blah... He made a couple phone calls, said they would call me back, they never did. I went there a second time a couple days later and noticed my golf cart sitting out front by the street. It's a nice looking cart and they were using it as advertisement for their business. Unbelievable!!! I spoke to someone and he didn't know anything about the cart, made a phone call and said they were waiting on a part, he said it was the on/off switch, they would fix it and deliver it to me the next day. They did deliver it the next day, Friday afternoon at 4:45 PM. I took it for a test drive and immediately I could tell that it wasn't fixed, the brakes were still locked up when you let off the throttle. Argh! The guy who delivered it was ashamed and embarrassed, not his fault, but I had him take it back. I went back over there on Monday afternoon and they had the whole thing apart trying to find the problem. It turned out to be the controller AND the on/off switch. Or so they said... They said it would be something like $515. Ouch! I told them that they should discount that since the first time it wasn't fixed correctly. They knocked one hour of labor off of the bill and it cost me $428. They DID finally get it right, delivered my golf cart and it works fine. But I will always question whether another shop might have been able to fix it correctly the first time, whether or not it really needed the on/off switch replaced and if another shop could have done the job in a couple of days while they had my cart for nearly 2 weeks. I've owned businesses before so I know that sometimes "stuff" happens. But I would NOT recommend this place and whoever is in charge of their service department needs to do a reboot because it's appalling! read more

I took my 101 year old father's cart there to sell on consignment when he had to move to a care facility. I never received any communication from anyone. My father since passed away and this is the last remaining item of his estate not resolved. I was told when I called the cart was sold and I should receive payment. Since then no one will tell me anything except I have to talk to Jason, the owner. He won't answer after dozens of calls and won't return my call either. Since I live in the midwest I cannot go there so he is just stealing the cart. Beware!! read more

Do not do business with this company. We put our golf cart there on consignment. After 2 weeks, we called to see how it was going. We were told that it sold and our share would be $1500. They said they would mail us a check. All this happened a month ago. No check ever arrived. We have contacted the company endlessly and each time are told that we need to speak to the owner, Jason. He never returns our calls and he never answers his personal cell phone. His voicemail is always full so we can't leave a message. We have tried going to both the showroom and the service building but can never catch up with him. Right now we are out both the cart and the money! Very sleazy! read more
