I had a wonderful time building a terrarium lead by Lianne and Peter. They are very sweet and provide 100% handcrafted custom builds.

The stencils and stamps the did have left were very old and didn't work. Also, the employees just seem really absent minded and not knowledgeable or interested. And whatever you do don't forget to take a picture of your art work before you go. If you don't, they will have no way to figure out if it's finished. They won't call to tell you it is finished. And if you don't go get it within 30 days it will be destroyed. Their system is very archaic and dysfunctional. They don't tell you that you have to take a picture, you're somehow just supposed to know this. Also, expect to spend at least $75-$100, which I think is very over priced. Just go somewhere else instead.

There are great inspiration pieces all around the shop and they usually have seasonal items out. You paint your item, they fire it for you, and you come back in a few days to pick it up. I believe you can also use their clay and make your own items as well! For the pre-made ceramics you paint, you pay one cost for the items and that includes the paint and firing. If you don't finish a piece in one sitting, you can bubble wrap it, take it home, and bring it back to finish another day! Feel free to bring your own food and drink!

ALL THINGS ARE NOT CREATED EQUALLY!…read more Christina Rhoades represents two individuals under the umbrella of this company. One artist creates paintings while the other has a specialty food line, including seasonings, balsamics, jalapeno candy, infused oils and more. I was drawn in by the balsamic display because I am out of my favorite white balsamic vinegar. They have a white balsamic that I eventually sampled. Initially I hesitated because it was actually yellow instead of clear. When I taste it, it doesn't have the taste that I prefer, a light twang and not as sweet. This product tasted flat and was not very appetizing. I really prefer the Trader Joe's brand which is delicious on salads and well priced. Although they have infused oils, there were none available today although they did have spices. When it comes to relish and pickled items and peppers, I let my husband do the testing. He sampled a couple of items but didn't seem very impressed. *** Infused olive oil and balsamic vinegars are a big trend right now. I am seeing them at almost every fair or festival and the stores continue to pop up. All things are not created equally so be cautious and sample freely. Also, consider what you are paying for these special condiments that you can easily purchase almost anywhere! Of the many items available to sample, I only sampled one and do not feel comfortable with giving only two stars, so I am awarding three.

Service here is fantastic!…read more And they have top quality Daniel Smith watercolor. They are the first Michael's (4 others recently) I've been to around north Atlanta-metro which has had DS white gouache. Unfortunately, I bought the last tube of it.... But hopefully they'll get more of it soon so I haven't deprived others. As always, they had a lot of clearance, I had a coupon for full price goods, and I had store rewards coupon so I walked out of there with $40 worth of paints but only spent $25. Whether you're putting glitter on some T shirts with your pet's name on it (I swear this is not me!) and or knitting an afghan...this place has got it all. I've been to this store dozens and dozens of times over the years and never had a bad experience here. On the weekends the parking lot is a zoo and sometimes people just zoom behind you while you're backing out like you don't exist but you get those drivers everywhere. When you're coming out of the parking lot and wanting to turn back onto Barrett Parkway; this can be a challenge. There is a center chicken lane that all of the other stores empties out of and sometimes you have to wait quite a while before you can maneuver your way outta there. (Personally I just make a right like I'm going to the Joanne's behind here and make a quick U turn at the light by Joe's Crab Shack....) If you're looking for crafty stuff. This is a good spot to start...

Stephanie and her husband opened the doors two weeks ago and they already have a "Crop'n'Go" going on where you bring your materials (and maybe buy some new stuff there), make your cards and other paper craft on the side of the store with rows of spacious, clean, and well-appointed tables, network and socialize with others and maybe learn some new tricks of the trade. Wall-to-wall stickers, stamps, stencils, die cut templates, gorgeous paper stock - if you walk in with no idea of what to do, there is plenty of inspiration here. I found Stephanie to be friendly and helpful. She gave me a tour of the product selection and pointed out some of the newer items and their distinguishing attributes. If you've been trying to make your mark in a keepsake journal, a photo album, a gift for someone special, what have you - Paper Dreams can give your project a nudge into the "Awesome Zone."
