This is the first time I have had my nails done professionally. I'm not happy 2 days after having them done one broke off and my real nail came halfway off with it. Every time I come here to Fairy Nails they do a great job. The gentleman that did my nails took his time and was very through, which makes me happy because I don't like rush jobs. He took his time and was very careful and gentle with my fingers and hands. I'm so happy with the end result. The second I sat down in the waiting area to have my eyebrows done a guest came up to me and asked if she could take a picture of my nails so that she could get hers done the same way. Guess I made the right decision coming here! I'm really happy with my nails. I went in to get JUST A FILL and the lady made all my nails uneven. My index nail is 1in and my pinky is 1/4in. I've never hated a set more than these, I will not be returning and I advise you do the same and save your money! And when she asked if I had a picture the nails that I wanted I showed her the design, and she then proceeded to talk across the entire salon to her co-worker, and ignored me and the phone that was displayed the entire time and didn't ask if the length or shape of the nail was right before it was too late. Then procure do a different design than the one that was still displayed in front of her. First and LAST time here. I made an appointment, when I showed up I had to wait 15 min. I told them it was my first time at the nail salon, a older woman came to me said "sit here" then "pick your color". She didn't say hello, introduce herself or say welcome. She did my pedicure, and quite a few times she hurt/cut my feet. She did not do any massage , which is normal for a pedicure. She painted my toes (1 coat only!} then just up & left to take care of someone else. She never said " you're done, thanks for coming in" or anything! I went in to get a gel manicure, and for one they made me pay for something I did not get. They were hard at understanding and I had to explain myself many times. While getting my nails done he was talking with the other guy next to him making what seemed to be rude comments. They seem to be "joking around" but in reality we're being very disrespectful and rude. After leaving my nails were not even length and had a really uneven coat of polish. There were bumps in my polish, and they started chipping TWO days after getting them done, when they claim it lasts for months. The jell manicure ruined my nails. I am very disappointed in the service I received. I went there for gel nails. This girl proceeded to do my nails. would not speak except to her friend in the next booth in their language. I inquired about getting gel nails 1/2 way thru since they were not done this way last time I got them at another store. She just nodded in response. When she wanted my hand under the dryer she kept tapping my hand. My nails are not even. some are shorter than others and she did not round the ends. I got pink and white and now 2 days later the white is chipping off. I will never go there again or encourage anyone else to do so. I never have a problem with my nails. I see John and he is friendly, remembers me, and does a great job with them, and the pricing is good. My issue is with the salon itself. They have overbooked where I've waited 20-45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be seen. Every time I enter, I never have been asked if I have an appointment and they do not even acknowledge I am there. I usually wait 5-10 minutes before I have to ask if John is there since I have an appointment. They need to be more attentive to customers entering their business. read more

I have been going here to Fairy nails quite a few times. My nails came out fine plus they are reasonably priced which is important to me. I went there today and my opinion of the work done has changed . I had a woman that really just shortcut a bit. First of all the color I chose was not in your typical form, she first applied a solution and then a powdered color. Every time I put my hands in the light machine, it was so burning hot that I had to remove my hand.. Then his woman started mentioning that this powder color is a NEW product and it's a Deep GEL.. No lotion on my hands..just a rush. ( I am 66 yrs old and need my glasses to see well) Unfortunately I didn't look at the job. Plus she charged me more money for this Deep Gel. When I looked with my glasses on..she never even had a few sides completely covered!! I'll NEVER have them apply this Powder color again.. read more

Worse place. Unsanitary they dont sanitize their nail instruments and they reuse buffers and files along with the drill bits full of nail residue. They talk amongst one another probably talking about you. Also when you walk in for a wax they ask you out loud in front of everyone what type of waxing you want. I'm not going to yell out bikini wax to everyone in there. I dont go in for that only an upper lip wax every month. But you get the concept right? Depending on who you get this place is either really amazing or pretty bad. In my experience the guys are way better and Mike is the absolute best when it comes to acrylics. The lady's do ok, nothing unsanitary or dangerous(they have nicked me a couple times with the drill or a file but nothing that drew any blood or left a mark) and from a distance my nails aren't terrible, but when you look at them closer they're crooked, parts of my nails aren't covered, and some of the tips aren't glued on very well. My mom got her nails done by one of the ladies too and one of my mom's coworkers asked if they were press on! Not good! None of this ever happens with the guys though.
