It's unfortunate because she was so excited and would love to come back. I won't go back because she made us feel so damn unwelcome. It's hard enough going out into the community when you're child is different. I don't want to pay money to be made to feel unwelcome when I can get it plenty for free. Many business and people talk about being inclusive but often times do the complete opposite whether they intend to or not.

I would have loved to spend some time in there but my husband didn't want to pay the fee this time. It's okay as I know we'll be back one day. We snacked on a blueberry scone and a savory soft pretzel. My husband was happy to indulge in his favorite beer on tap (Truth) and I had a Smelly Cat Frappe. I don't know a lot about this programme, but the in-mates I have interacted with have been pleasant and helpful. This is a great place to interact with animals! The only reason I would not give 5 stars is that with they recently changed their hours so they are now open 11-4 M-F and 10-3 Saturday. This has made it more difficult to bring school aged kids here during the week, whereas we used to be able to make it after-school. Overall, very positive experiences here! After looking at the kittens which were adorable by the way . I spotted this two year old all gray two year old cat named Shadow. For me it was a done deal ! He was loving from the jump and purring up a storm as I pet him. He let me hold him and didn't struggle to get away. The employees there are so friendly and genuinely happy to have either a cat or dog or any animal adopted . The gift area had some really good buys so I got my neighbors dog a jacket and a tee shirt each item was five dollars and a toy. I got my sister the cutest sweatshirt for Christmas there . Currently Shadow is getting used to his new home and already spoiled within the hour of being home .

The online registration process was simple, the staff is friendly and assistive, and all the cats were well tended to. Nicole acclimated to my home right away with no signs of fear or having been neglected any time prior to her adoption. She had all of her shots up to date, was neutered, and was litter box trained. Today she is triple in size and weight, climbs stairs in a single bound, and loves to purr loud.

We just adopted a dog from the Grant County Animal Shelter. Kathleen was great and walked us…read morethrough the entire process. Even though we arrived around closing time, we were given time alone to bond with the dog and make sure it was the right fit. We could tell the animal was well cared for and the staff was very friendly. The dog had been micro chipped and received vaccinations. We were allowed to bring the dog we already had to make sure it would get along with its new companion. All in all, it was a good experience and we are happy customers enjoying time with our new family member.
