This is what I called the near/perfect cafe. It's beautifully and delightfully decorated. The pastry is inviting and tasty. The waier told us to just relax and enjoy the occasion. This is owned by one lady featured in the painting. Will go back again for sure,

We were staying nearby and ate at this restaurant three times in three days. Delicious, beautifully presented assortment of British and Middle Eastern food options. I enjoyed the felafel breakfast, with a hearty serving of felafel balls, fresh veggies, and tahini. My mother enjoyed the plentiful, fruit-filled granola bowl (twice). Gracious servers and a fun, peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Not far from the Gloucester Station in the middle of other restaurants, you will find a well decorated restaurant that can be anything you want it to be rain or shine. It feels like you're in a garden outside, but you're inside their dining area that is dressed with dried flowers of a warm pastel palette. It is beautifully decorated. Great service. Our waiter got to us quickly and without actually telling him anything about our time constraints we were able to order and get our hot drinks shortly after. Noemi got her nutella and banana croissant shortly after. The Spanish Latte was amazing... it's a latte with a lower layer of condensed milk that you have to stir in. I didn't know what it was until, I tried it, now I want to try it elsewhere to see if they can mimic it. The folks with time all around us were ordering traditional breakfasts and or savory brunch items. It was a fantastic choice.

Wow! Wow! WOW! What a lovely breakfast experience. The decor, service and food were all amazing! Fait Maison Paratha, my meal was Turkish bread with eggs and cheese served with chips - enjoyed it so much! A rose latte was delicious. Aromatic and sweet. Please stop in and enjoy when you're in London!

This place was so good. I was craving exactly what they offered. The hummus dish was so tasty. I wish I could have tried the other 10 dishes on the menu. Next time.

We ordered the full english breakfast, poached eggs with avocado, pancakes, and scrambled eggs with potatoes. The service was quick and attentive. We had a good breakfast.

Beautiful beautiful place. I loved this place and will definitely go back next time I'm in London. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the avocado toast and a Turkish coffee. The Turkish coffee set-up was absolutely adorable. The avocado toast was huge it came with fruits and nuts. My fiancé got the lamb hamsa. He did not leave a piece a meat in the plate. The waiter said it would be the best lamb he ever had. And omg the decor was fabulous

Beautiful well decorated restaurant located not far from the train station. This tea house/restaurant has wide variety of middle eastern food along with the afternoon English tea in the menu. Since I came here by myself in the morning, I decided to try the pistachio cake and rose tea, it was delicious and I was happy with my choice.

I really enjoyed my tea experience at this location. If I'm completely honest, I couldn't get reservations to Candella but this location was availabilities. Right away the decor, i was in awe of the decor. They had an Easter display in the front surrounded by flowers by the front entrance. Honestly, if you're into the whole aesthetic look because you like taking pictures, this place would fit the criteria. I ordered the afternoon tea for one which IMO came with a lot of finger foods which actually left me feeling full once I was done. Unfortunately, I can't remember what came with my order but I do recall liking the scones and sandwiches a lot.

One of the most eclectic restaurant and tea rooms I have ever visited! Although it's theoretically a Mediterranean restaurant, they offer so many different options such as Afternoon Tea and plenty of desserts. The Hummus and pita were delicious and my Falafel plate was outstanding. The service at the beginning was lackluster but once they realized we had been waiting, they took special attention to us and made our stay a wonderful lunch experience!

Cute cute cute!!! Fait Maison is a cute place in Kensington for afternoon tea, brunch, lunch and more! They have an extensive selection on food and the staff are very friendly. I stopped in late afternoon and had afternoon tea. It came with super cute pastries they made in-house and finger sandwiches! I loved me lavender Earl grey tea and their scones! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Love the ambiance. Great food. Must try. I enjoyed the avocado toast and Karak chai. The place is very pretty.

Where do I start? The English breakfast, the tea, the clotted cream! It was all very delightful. The service was very welcoming. We had a large party of 9 and they did not hesitate to accommodate us. We did make a reservation so that they knew we were coming, but they were very nice people. The place is very cute with several photo ops. It is a must when in London.

Every single dish we had was superb, from the jars of tzatziki and tiropita to the crispy calamari and seabass tartare to start. The fresh bread, which was lightly charred, really paired well with the tzatziki and tiropita which were lightly whipped and so flavorful. The seabass came with a cucumber and jalapeno broth which had just the right amount of spice to elevate the fish. For main we split the lamb and grilled octopus which were both perfectly prepared. The lamb, which appeared to be sous vide, was cooked to an exquisite medium rare and the octopus had a great char both was still tender. The service and setting were both great and we highly recommend this establishment.

I was introduced to mastiha liquor given gratis upon sitting down, the loukamades in a box with the once chocolate one was a great touch. I live outside of the UK but when each of my children reached a certain age, I would take them on a trip to London and Mazi was always on the itinerary. Unfortunately the experience has dwindled each time. I took my youngest to Mazi this summer and they could not have cared less. Additionally the crowds and vibrancy I remember are much less. But the service was the most disappointing. I tried to explain how we had been looking forward to this and our family tradition (I even bought the cookbook), but to no avail. Maybe I was too excited and it was just a normal night for them. The great ideas of the menu seem to be just on autopilot now. Perhaps the novelty of it all has worn off on me too, but the loukamades presentation is different now. Boxes are gone. And perhaps I should not have ordered the radishes, but it came out without any dipping sauce or anything. Just raw radishes. Maybe it's still a great place, and maybe it was just an off night, but I will no longer be taking that risk. .

Maybe my friend over-sold it and got my expectations up too high, because I was pretty disappointed in this dinner. We were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said still and were brought out a £4.50 bottle. I know it's common to charge for water in Europe, so I didn't think much about it until I noticed that everyone else around us had refillable glass bottles -- free tap water that we were never even told was an option. We were seated downstairs at a large communal table. I don't necessarily mind that, but it was so loud that having a conversation was very difficult. My cocktail was delicious, but so tiny. The wine list was decent -- a good mix of options at various price points. As for the food, it was very hit or miss. The mushroom starter and the pork main dish were delicious. Unfortunately, the two most expensive dishes were disappointing. The prawns had great flavor, but a strangely soft, mushy texture. For me, the flavor made the weird texture okay, but my husband couldn't get over the mushiness of the shrimp and hated this dish. The sea bream was very bland and dry -- highly disappointing for the most expensive item on the menu. We ended on a high note with the affogato dessert (Yum!), but for such an expensive meal, there were just a few too many misses for us.
